We dropped by this gem on our way up to North Carolina. It was an early Monday morning, so they weren't busy at all, but I imagine this place is popping over the weekend. There's not a ton of space, which I'm sure makes the rush brunch worse. Facilities were to clean and well maintained, well decorated as well. Our server Ashley was friendly and great. The food was delicious! My fiance and I both got veggie omelettes, he was able to add bacon to his and sub the potatoes for a fruit cup. We got an English muffin and wheat toast. Their wheat toast was massive and hearty, with seeds on the crust. I loved it! Veggie omelettes are always a good test of a chefs skills as they can be super wet from the high water content in veggies. Ours were cooked perfectly, no soppy mess and the veggies tasted crisp and fresh. I don't know if this is a downside, but the menu claimed the omelettes were 4 eggs, but it sure felt like 6 or 7! It was massive! The fruit cup didn't have a bunch of copout fruit in it, it came with really fresh strawberries, bananas and blackberries along with cantaloupe and pineapple. The only truly negative thing I noticed was the jam came in a small plastic cup and when I tasted the jam, it tasted like the plastic, so I couldn't eat it. Overall this is a great breakfast spot that rivals the sitting veterans on the area (first watch, kekes). Give it a go, but be wary of busy rush hours! read more

Jackie was a delight for our server and I am so happy I went with the baked pancake! It's a house specialty, takes a little longer to make- but so good. I love fruit on or in my pancakes, waffles, french toast- you name it. I love fresh fruit! So a baked pancake loaded with blueberries, strawberries and bananas was already a hit as soon as they set it down! John ordered the corned beef hash breakfast plate and good gracious that was a ton of food. He actually finished his food before my plate hit the table- normally, that would annoy me, but I knew that I ordered something that took longer and I was grateful Jon ate his food while it was hot. And I may have snagged a couple bites of that hash- hmmm. I loved the huge patio out front and we considered sitting out there. Highly recommend! We were greeted with a smile and invited to sit anywhere, which was a refreshing change. We had the strawberry banana walnut waffle and a specialty pancake. The pancake takes about 30 minutes, but it's worth the wait because it's huge, nice and thin, with crispy edges and a great texture. Both dishes were delicious and surprisingly not overly sweet. Menu is full of goodies - you will want one of everything. We are a boring bunch so we had basic eggs over medium, toast, sausage, and cheeeeeeesy grits that were out of this world. The woman at the table next to us had a skillet pancake that looked amazing. My grandson had chocolate chip pancakes that were crazy good and gooey! Nice Vibe, Service Needs Work Brunch Daytona definitely has a lovely ambiance--the decor is great and it's a very pleasant place to sit and relax. However, the service side of the experience really dragged this down to three stars. While I enjoyed the atmosphere, the kitchen seemed overwhelmed. My food took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was incorrect. I sent it back, and unfortunately, the corrected order was still wrong the second time around. It's disappointing when the setting is so nice, but the execution of the actual meal service is flawed. I really love this brunch spot. Great weather to sit outdoors. I personally got two eggs over medium with toast and home fries. You know the home fries are delicious because of their golden color. I tried the strawberry blueberry banana Nutella French toast! it was satisfying and not overwhelming. Found this place by accident and it is now on my list of favorite breakfast/brunch spots! They have outdoor seatings if you prefer to dine outside surrounded by plants. If you're worried that it would be too hot, they have fans installed on the sides. If you decide to dine in, it is a smaller space, but perfect for that intimate lunch date or get together with a small group of friends. They do have a bar, but I didn't get to try anything. Their decor and theme reminds me of a smaller Cracker Barrel, but chic. The service was great and it only took about 10- 15 mins for our food to be ready. We ordered an omelet, fruits, scrambled eggs, pancakes, corned beef hash, breakfast sausage, coffee, and their Mediterranean open sandwich breakfast which is very rich since they lather a lot of basil pesto. That's the only reason I took off one star, it was drenched heavily with the sauce and turned the ciabatta soggy. Other than that, everything tasted great! read more
