Great fries, burger comes fully loaded. Fried pickles were the best I've had, they were outstanding. The only weird thing is that I had to ask for ranch ...normally you get some kind of sauce to dip them in ...here, they just give it to you plain with nothing on the side without you asking. I was in the mood for breakfast while washing and drying clothes at the laundromat. I came into Rossi's, but first i had to use the restroom. Now, for me, how you keep your restrooms helps me understand how you keep your kitchen. I must say, it stunk badly, gnats all over, ceiling tiles brown stained from water leakage and so we are not off to a good start. I ordered two eggs scrambled soft, home fries, it's a diner you are supposed to have home fries, kielbasa (burnt) and toast. I drink water so nothing fancy. The host and waitress were awesome, inviting and very friendly. Food came out in about ten minutes and looked good accept the cook didn't understand what I meant about burnt. The toast had a liquid butter placed on it, i didn't like the taste and it was too much for me. I used my knife to press the toast to squeeze the butter off. I put egg and kielbasa on the toast to make it work. In spite of my taste, the food was really good, the awesome customer service compensated for my bathroom experience and they have triple decker sandwiches, I'll be back soon to try.... read more

Good menu selection and nice ambiance. Service was a little slower than that of today's zip zip zip but thought it to be an added bonus not being rushed. The Big Fish Sandwich was gigantic and came with sides and the Smothered Chicken was delicious and came with a salad, soup, and fresh bread. The Fried Green Tomato was unique. The Buffalo Chicken strips were good also. The prices were excellent and we did not leave hungry or unsatisfied and would eat here again. My family and I stopped into Rossi's last minute on Sunday. We called in advance because of how large our party was. Rossi's Diner was able to accommodate us and with ease. We are somewhat of a wild group, but our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Each of us ordered an entry and decided to order a cup of soup. I ordered the cup of beef soup and a BLT with cole slaw. Our food was quickly prepared and our drinks were refilled even quicker. Once we received our food, it was very delicious and hot. I'm surprised I haven't written a review on this family owned and run diner! So my number 1 go to is the Glorious Morning (Carrots, nuts, raisins...) it's just good. And baby, you don't need any butter for this delight. Split that bad boy down the middle and ask for it toasted. *sways in buttery bliss*. I just tried their blueberry pancake and omg. The waitress raved that the particular batter was her favorite. I had to look at her deep in the eyes to thank her. She was also wonderful with the service, so accommodating to my children's requests. When I told her I wanted to add something when we were almost ready to go, she kept coming back and was so patient with us. A bit ago I got a seafood platter (is that the name) omg I ate off of it 3 times and shared with my son. 2 huge pieces of flounder, claim strips, crab cake (didn't care for that one) and fries. 7/17/17 Tuesday Another restaurant I stopped to eat at based off the Yelp reviews. This is very much a diner. Which isn't a bad thing. The waitress was ok, nothing special. She seemed more comfortable with other people, probably regulars. I ordered 2 eggs scrambled soft w/cheese, bacon, potatoes and a short stack of blueberry pancakes. The food was good and plentiful. The service was ok. I probably would not go back but for no real good reason other than I felt a little more welcomed at other restaurants. My husband and I were looking for something different than the usual and saw the place while driving down Ridgewood. we went in and it seemed ok at first, we were told to sit at one of the two booths...one had a lopsided table and the other was still a little dirty. the guy brought us the water and I tried to ask a question but he seemed in a hurry. a few minutes later an old lady brought us cold bread and I asked her a question about the special. she answered it and quickly left. she went to the people behind us at the lopsided table who had walked in a few minutes after we did, asked if they were ready to order and then proceeded to take their order. being thoroughly disgusted by this, we decided to leave. we stopped to tell the manager and then walked out. a shame really, I don't cook often and love to have a variety of restaurants to chow at. read more
