Cozy spot with amazing treats Stopped into Cinnamon Tree Café for the first time and immediately loved the cozy atmosphere. I tried the blueberry coffee cake and it was so good -- not overly sweet, super soft, and packed with blueberries. Easily one of the better coffee cakes I've had in a while. I also grabbed a cold brew, and it tasted amazing. Smooth, refreshing, and not bitter at all. Overall, a really lovely first visit. I'll definitely be going back. read more

I wasn't able to access my previous review of Cinnamon Tree, so I'm glad to leave a fresh one. We have loved Cinnamon Tree for well over a decade. The food is consistently excellent, the desserts are beautiful and delicious, and the balance of savory and sweet is one of the things they do best. From the patisserie case to the fully loaded crepes, our family has yet to be disappointed. That is saying something, because usually someone has a critique somewhere. Here, there truly is something for everyone, and we all leave happy. The portions are generous, which we appreciate. We almost always bring leftovers home, and that just means we get to enjoy it all over again later. The service is consistently friendly and helpful. The staff brings a youthful, upbeat energy that adds to the atmosphere. Each visit feels like stepping into a European-style patisserie, and that charm has kept us coming back year after year. With that said, I do want to share one small concern. They close at 3:00 p.m. We are big brunch people, but our schedule often leans toward late morning or early afternoon rather than first thing when they open. I understand there are likely good reasons for their hours, and I know many early birds benefit from them. Still, it can be disappointing. On three separate occasions, we have driven over looking forward to our favorites, only to find the doors already locked. We were not alone. On the most recent visit, three other cars pulled in and had to turn around as well. Even with that frustration, our overall experience with Cinnamon Tree remains overwhelmingly positive. On a recent visit to Port Orange, we did our homework, asked around, and found a great place where the locals go...and for good reason. The restaurant windows and interior were decorated for the holidays beautifully. This is clean but casual dining where you order and the food is brought to you. We were greeted warmly and able to place our order quickly. The place was bustling and packed. Still, everything was great and our food came out quickly. Everything was really good, the Biscoff danish just happens to be one of the best things I've eaten. Great coffee, bold and prepared well. My breakfast bowl was fresh and flavorful, the potatoes amazing, and my wife's croissant breakfast sandwich was delightful as well. The danish was an added bonus I wasn't anticipating, and it was just amazing. A fresh, soft danish, with Biscoff crème in the middle. We should have ordered two, it was very difficult to share. Cinnamon Tree Cafe is a must for breakfast or brunch when you're in the Port Orange area. I know we'll be back. read more

Went for Mothers Day. Line was out the door at 10:15am. The wait on food was over an hour. I had the bowl which had great flavor but had like green leaf salad under the potatoes and meat. The potatoes weren't fully cooked and did not taste good. I will not come here when it's this busy again. The food is good here when it's less busy. A lot of people here and only have one bathroom for men and women. You have to clean after yourself after leaving a tip. read more

Found this local family owned gem via Yelp! We were in town for my son's Lakeside Jazz Festival. Amazing place, friendly staff and phenomenal food. Food portions were huge. My son had blueberry Pancake & it was giant & delicious. I highly recommend the blueberry fried chicken goat cheese salad. Also, the Nutella crepe was a hit too. What a fantastic little place close to the highway. We were staying in the area for a long weekend and wanted to try this place for breakfast based on all the amazing reviews. We were not disappointed, definitely the best breakfast we had on our vacation. The inside was packed when we arrived later in the morning on a Tuesday, we placed our order at the counter and found a table outside. My spiced mocha coffee was amazing, with homemade mocha syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon and cayenne! We decided on a sweet treat to split and the Biscoff danish was heavenly. For my meal, the Hawaiian croissant had a wonderful combination of flavors including pineapple and sweet peppers, do delicious. My husband enjoyed his potato bowl as well. My dream little cafe. I wish I lived nearby, I'd probably be here at least once or twice a week lol. They have breakfast, lunch, pastries, cookies, tea and coffee. Everything is DELICIOUS! On my most recent visit I had the most amazing candied bacon BLT on a fresh croissant with some refreshing berry lemonade iced tea. My mouth is watering just thinking about it lol I enjoyed every last bite. The inside of the cafe is quaint with just a handful of tables, a couple of them are larger to accommodate bigger parties, and a few tables outside too. Service is friendly and quick. If you prefer indoor seating, I suggest arriving early, as seating is first-come, first-served and can fill up quickly + be a little loud. We ordered the Nutella crepe, biscoff crepe (the ice cream paired with this meal was amazing), breakfast sandwich, pancakes, and a Nutella coffee. The food was incredibly delicious and incredibly satisfying. However, I must warn you about the coffee. It's more creamy and lacks the Nutella flavor you'd expect. read more

Had a wonderful brunch here! Had a group of 5, we are all here on vacation so not very familiar with the area, and very happy to have found this place! There was lots of available parking spots, and there are lots of options for seating, both indoor and outdoor. You order at a counter, and they have a lot of very tasty looking pastries, muffins and treats on display. Great for a group, since you don't have to worry about splitting the bill! The staff were very friendly and they drop off your food as it's ready, so we were served very quickly. I ordered the avocado toast and added an egg, it was delicious! It wasn't bad... To be fair I only got pastries, it just wasn't some place I'd go back based on that (staff was super nice though!) I got several unique cookies (that green pistachio...) and a sandwich cookie. They had such good things to say about the uniqueness or flavor I think it built it up in my head so I was let down when the cookies were moderately dry and moderately flavorful. This may be your style if you prefer your cookies on the less sweet side, or the feel of a true buttercream, but that just isn't me. read more

We live in Tampa but whenever we come here we always have to eat here. The food is amazing, truly amazing, very fresh. It's usually pretty busy because this place is amazing. But it is so worth it. I've always overlooked this place because it doesn't really stand out. But visited with a friend who had been and enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Great menu, fair prices and quick service despite a very busy place. The atmosphere was off putting, it was very loud inside and I didn't enjoy the ordering at the counter and then not knowing the process of how to get utensils and whether or not to leave your plates in the table...seemed disjointed and awkward, to me.
