All they seem to have going for them is the whole "american made" thing. Unskilled labor americans, maybe. Walked through their "showroom" that looks more like a garage sale or warehouse the way things are packed together closely. If you do visit, watch your step. Cords under rugs, etc. Way way too expensive for what you get. I heard a couple guys in the back of the store talking when I dropped by and looked around a bit. Neither could be bothered to get off their rear ends to greet a customer, so I couldn't be bothered to walk to the very back of a warehouse type store to beg them to attend to a potential customer. I am new to the area and was looking for a TV Console. Friends suggested Adams Furniture. My daughter and went to Justin to check it out. I had friendly customer service. They were very patient with me, gave me websites to look through at home to see what styles were available to go in my home. I was glad to know these products were made in America. I knew from the area they were manufactured they would be quality merchandise. I came from a small town where I regularly purchased from a family owned furniture store. I know the importance of supporting these small businesses and prefer to shop in them. They still offer good customer service! I am so happy with my new piece of furniture. It looks beautiful in my home and I have had many compliments. The price was in my budget and it IS a quality piece of furniture. Delivery and set up was very professional. We had been looking for great quality furniture since moving to the Dallas area. I have been going to all the well known furniture stores but I hate how everything looks the same and the quality isn't great and the prices aren't cheap. Not that I want to pay dirt cheap prices for good quality. Wait no that would be ideal! (Laughs out loud) My husband saw a commercial for this place and told me to look them up. After going to alot of furniture stores these last couple of months I will say they have a great value for their pieces. Some were not my taste but I did find the entry way table I had been looking for. The manager was very nice and helpful. He even tried to deliver the next day but we were on our way out of town and the timing would not have worked out. I think this establishment deserves a visit if you are tired of seeing the same thing at every furniture store and you want good quality. read more

Bought a mattress that was supposed to be soft. We had it delivered but didn't set up right away. My husband cut the tags off of it because we thought we had received the right purchase. This is NOT the mattress we bought. When we called to enquirer about maybe receiving the wrong one, they came out to see it, went back to double check at the store. Was supposed to call us with their findings. We called them and was told we had the right one. It is our belief they didn't want to exchange for the correct purchase because of the tag being off the mattress. We will take our business elsewhere from here on.... Such a shame to because they would have been our go to for furniture close to home.. and they came highly recommended by locals.. read more

The people working there are friendly but it is HIGHLY over priced. I have been seeing commercials for this place all week about their LOW LOW prices! After getting there we were confronted with $3000 couches and $500 4 person kitchen tables (and that was the low end of the price range). There are definitely some nice items in this store but the prices are just outrageous. I'm not sure it is worth driving to Justin even from Keller to walk around their store. read more

We have bought several pieces of furniture from Adams, and we are very pleased with their product and service. When we need furniture, we like to check with Adams first because we like that they sell American-made and even Texas-made furniture. Last year, we had a quality control issue with a special-order chair that arrived right before the holidays. They were very flexible in allowing us to resolve the issue later when we could do without that seat. When we were ready, they cheerfully picked it up and returned it to the manufacturer to correct the problem. At a later time, I was looking for a specific writing desk, and I asked if they could get it. John came back with a desk I liked even better! It is easy to overlook their showroom, but it is worth the effort to check them out! read more

If you are looking for American made furniture of exceptional quality you should visit Adams Furniture store in Justin. They specialize in solid wood furniture built by skilled craftsmen so the prices are somewhat higher than one would expect from big box stores which sell furniture made out of particle board. However, considering the quality of their furniture their prices are very reasonable. Because of lightning our house was severely damaged by fire. We had to replace two bedroom sets and shopped a number of stores before we visited Adams Furniture store. We found exactly what we were looking for at Adams Furniture and now that the furniture has been delivered and set up we are very satisfied with how it looks in our bedrooms. read more

This is a wonderful store to visit and shop at. It is not a very big furniture store, but it is crammed with lots of wonderful furniture and accessories. I found the service to be outstanding and they seem to really care for their customers. I purchased a recliner from them after shopping Nebraska Furniture Mart, Haverty's, La-Z-Boy and Weir. The quality of the furniture is fantastic and the prices were very reasonable and much less than at La-Z-Boy. Unlike La-Z-Boy, there is no attempt to upsell you on "Fabric Guard" or an "Extended Warranty." When furniture shopping don't overlook Adams Furniture. It is well worth the drive to Justin. I am so disgusted with Adams Furniture! I convinced my mom to shop for a recliner from them since we had such a wonderful experience and love our living room furniture. We purchased a recliner on August 24th that had a 3 to 5 week delivery estimate. It is now October 26th and still no chair. Here is what they have told us each time we call to check on it....mind you, they are not calling us with any updates, we always have to call....called them at week 6 "the chair is on the truck, but it isn't a reliable trucking company so not sure exactly when we'll get it." Called again week 7 "your chair and 8 other orders have ended up in Mississippi and we don't know when they will get back here. Thank you for your patience." Week 9 had to call again... "we can't get the trucking company to tell us when the chair will get back." They called back to let us know the chair is expected back the week of November 5th.... Here is what they offered, a loaner and maybe some pillows. Seriously!!! This chair should be discounted, if not free, at this point, but Adams says the manufacturer won't discount it. Really, Adams should be offering a discount! So a loaner will be delivered tomorrow along with a decorative cross.....what a joke. I will never recommend Adams to anyone again. Although a recliner is not a big deal to most people, my mom sleeps in hers. She got rid of her old one as it was broken and was willing to wait the 3-5 weeks....she is sleeping in an old recliner that is causing her extreme back issues....and she continues to wait. Oh, Adams did say we could get a refund and purchase elsewhere but that is not the point!! We would have to wait again for another chair to be manufactured!!! The customer service is terrible on this and I'm incredibly disappointed and feel horrible suggesting my mom shop with Adams. I don't care if this is freak experience that they have never had happen before, they need to make it right!! read more

The overpriced review is fishy. We just bought a custom made recliner, solid wood end table and bed from Adams furniture. We browsed the store a few times. One or two sofas in the high 2k range due to being HAND CRAFTED custom fabric etc. I'm glad there is still a store like Adams that sells furniture like it used to be made. Dove tail, etc. etc. for what it is, it really is a good price. This place sells top of the line quality, and the ability to customize a lot less than designer stores. If you want cheap go to big lots. Don't trash a store that sells custom furnishings for not being walmart cheap. read more
