I had researched the "ads" and knew that Sleep Experts had a fitting program to tell what type of mattress a customer was suited to and that they had a sale going on. We walked into the store and one salesperson was present and we were the only ones in the store. I forget his name but he was experienced and was very friendly without being too pushy. He had us lay on the test mattress and then described the results and began showing us a number of mattresses that we may be interested in. He was very good at explaining the differences in each mattress and the pro's and con's of each. Also, any question we had he knew the answer. We settled on one of the upper end mattresses and purchased it. The salesperson scheduled the delivery and lo and behold a delivery was made on time as promised! Nice concept eh? We have had the mattress for about a week and I will say that for the first time in years I have been comfortable enough to remain asleep all night and when I do wake up I don't feel as though I need to get up to stretch and work out the stiffness. This was a great purchase. Yes, I would recommend this store.

I purchased a twin mattress in 2010 with a 10 year warrantee. By 2012 it was sagging in the middle…read more I called they said they had to inspected it for a fee. I said that is not what I agreed to. There warrantee people were to call me. They never did. I took the mattress to store but they refused to look at it. I kept the mattress and wrote a complaint to yelp. I filed suit before the warrantee expired. The law firm filed frivolous motions and urged the judge to deny any extension of time to file a response. I had COVID and submitted a doctors affidavit. The court refused to hear the motion and gave the law firm a default judgement and awarded the $12000 in attorneys fees. I filed an appeal. The law firm agreed to drop the fees if I dismissed my appeal. I was still ill so I agreed. I am preparing a complaint with the Texas Bar on the law firm and a Judicial Complaint against the judge for violation of due process. In my research this is how Mattress Firm frequently handles the warrantee claims against them.

Ended up purchasing a Serra Queen, plush pillow top mattress with box spring, frame, rail or whatever for $700 which was a great deal because although he told me it usually sold for a little over $1300 I wanted to check to be sure. Looked online and found comparable for more than that price. I even slept on the bed the first night to test it and it was the best nights sleep. I'm tempted to return to purchase this in a King for my bedroom. Pleasant experience and I was able to leave the store same day with my mattress. I'd definitely check them out if you're in the market.

My very first brand new furniture I bought when I started adulting was a Sleigh Bed Bedroom Set from Weir's from their Knox location in Dallas. They have been my go-to for my adult life. I am not going to say I have bought every piece of furniture that I own from them, but I will say I have regretted it every time I have not. It's hard to beat old fashioned customer service and a place that puts value in doing business with them. That is why I was saddened to hear they were closing their stores. While I am saddened by it, they have some great sales going on right now. It's a great time to upgrade if you need to!

Staff is outstanding, personable and friendly both times we've come here. We had come here pre-shut down, so around 2018/2019 to get the bunk bed my oldest had wanted. We hadn't needed to shop for a bed for my youngest due to timing working out that we had my nieces crib/mattress, a friends car bed for his toddler stage, and my in-laws moved out of state in 2020, they gave us their guest room twin bed so they didn't have to haul it with them. Though that twin bed didn't come with a mattress for the pull out. We finally decided to find a 7' mattress for the pull out this year and remembered Heavenly sleep shop when we were pricing out our choices. They had two options that worked for us at $100 & $80, both good options for a mattress that won't see regular use but not as thin & uncomfortable options that we had seen for similar prices at places like Ikea. My 8 year old has been obsessed with the fact he now has a bed under his bed, and has regularly been pulling out the pull out to hang out on when playing video games or watching a show. (Even though his regular bed is still right there!)

For me the term "Sleep Experts" has taken on a whole new meaning. They are asleep on the job!…read more My wife and I bought a split king bed and adjustable base with LED underlighting plus two black touchpad remotes (over $5k) from Kenny at the Keller store on Denton Highway and North Tarrant. The delivery driver and helper set up the bases and installed the mattresses. The driver tested one of the two bases then raced outta here. PROBLEM ONE: The remote did not work properly on the untested one. I actually had to hold the remote under the bed to get it to work. They sent another team out with a replacement base and remote that afternoon. They disassembled the old base, installed the new base and left. PROBLEM TWO: The new base they brought out was an older version - not matching the other base (perhaps refurbished but who knows). It had a silver remote (not a touchpad) and a standard light bulb for underframe lighting rather than the LED. I called the store manager and told her I wanted the SAME BASE AND REMOTE on both sides of the bed. She tried to convince me otherwise saying they were the same product and it happens all the time but I wasn't accepting that. Eventually she agreed to send the other. PROBLEM THREE: Several days later a delivery team arrived. They disassembled my base, took it out to the truck, then opened the new box and... low and behold they brought the wrong one yet again. It should be noted that each time they come out they only commit to a date, so we need to make sure someone is available at home ALL DAY to receive the bed. The night before, they give you a two hour window via automated caller narrowing it down, but once you clear your calendar it remains cleared. PROBLEM FOUR: I spoke to the store manager, Melanie. She told me she checked and "actually the silver remote and base with light bulb is the newer version and the black touchtone remote and LED model is the "old model" and they don't make it anymore. She offered to bring out a replacement for the black remote and LED. I told her I needed to research it first because I don't believe her story! Nobody is phasing out LED's in favor of light bulbs and moving from touchscreen remote in favor of the old type push buttons. I immediately contacted the manufacturer, Leggett and Platt and spoke with Alisa in customer service. Amazingly, she confirmed I was right! The newest version is the black remote and LED light. They discontinued the other one because they had lots of problems with it. MELANIE AT SLEEP EXPERTS LIED TO ME in an effort to make this go away! I called Melanie back and informed her, and she ultimately offered to upgrade us to their top base model at no additional cost. I must say this type of treatment of retail customers went out the window many many years ago now that social media is available. This interaction thus far has been regrettable! I'm waiting now on a delivery date for my two new 900 model bases! We'll see how that goes, but I'm not holding my breath!
