Consistently excellent dining experience. We started with our usual honey garlic sambal and scotch…read moreale BBQ wings (both great flavors although honey sambal might be my slight favorite), deviled eggs, and the brussels sprouts - all well-executed classics on the menu and reliably strong across visits. For the main, I ordered the standard burger despite several limited-edition options being available (ask about the Hamilton theme!). It was cooked precisely to my specified medium, with a flavorful patty and nice structural integrity throughout. The tater tots were basically as good as they come. We paired the meal with IPAs - Dancing with the Bulls and Bull in a Bottle Shop - both of which held up well against the richness of the food and worked particularly well with the burger. I finished the meal off with the amaretto which provided a balanced finish and was reminiscent of my usual espresso martini without being overly boozy or heavy. Service was friendly and professional as always, and the atmosphere remains a strong point: upscale casual without feeling forced. One of my favorite spots in downtown Durham for so many reasons, and one I'll definitely continue to return to.

The pimento cheese chicken sandwich was good but didn't have nearly enough pimento cheese. After that experience, we decided to come back tonight. Sadly, the menu we enjoyed was completely gone and replaced. The server assured us the new menu was much better. We ordered the Airline Chicken and the Steak Frites. The chicken was good, along with the spicy sauce but the plate felt empty. The steak was barely edible and mostly fat. The arugula salad it came with wasn't good either. Luckily the rosemary fries were very tasty. Overall, we will not be back for the "new and improved" menu. The service didn't help, as they were understaffed.

Service was quick and delightful. I felt embraced and a part of the town immediately thanks to the hospitality of the Nosh team. We all had bacon cheese burgers - all excellent! Burgers were cooked perfectly and juicy! The homemade chips were a nice surprise and were fantastic dipping in some ranch dressing. All in all a solid visit, perfect menu variety, and a fun and welcoming environment....check it out!

They answered our questions and provided recommendations upon request. We had a large group, so it was taking a while for all of the food to be ready. I decided to just get a raspberry white chocolate scone and a greena colada so that I didn't have to wait a very long time to eat. We enjoyed sitting upstairs where we could all sit together and watch the scenery while eating. The kids loved the space, and it also provided us with some privacy for our birthday celebration. The scone was very good. I was a bit disappointed with the smoothie, though. I was expecting it to be flavorful and naturally sweet due to the mangoes and pineapple as well as the honey that was supposed to be added, but it was quite bland and not flavorful at all. Everyone else seemed to have enjoyed their food.

There's not a ton of seating, but we got a table quickly. The service was quick, and even though the place was small, it felt more cozy than cramped. I liked having the menu on the wall! They had two vegan options, and my partner & I both got the Biang Biang noodles. It was good, and perhaps even better the next day (the serving was big enough that I couldn't finish it). My sister got the Jjajiang Mian & absolutely loved it. This was a very positive experience, but not mindblowing--I think that the hype around the "M" restaurants perhaps raised my expectations a bit too much. It's also possible that their non-vegan options are stronger than their vegan options. Overall, though, very yummy, the prices are very reasonable for Durham ($16 for the Biang Biang noodles), and I would come back & try the veggie curry if given the chance.

I was disappointed however when they told me they are currently out of the vegan udon curry dish, which was 1/2 items I could eat. Nevertheless, I ordered the other dish, Biang Biang Noodles. The store was not full, there were two servers and at least 3 tables that were empty but the wait time to get my single dish or noodles took over 30 minutes - way longer than expected. While the noodles were well cooked and packed with flavor, I felt that the dish was far too oily and without much tofu/protein. Perhaps the other meals are less oily and more protein packed, but for being the only vegan option available that day, unfortunately this is all I have to offer at this time.
