Genuinely love this play. One of my favorites on Franklin. Staff is so friendly, they are quick, the food is always great. Highly recommend.

I'm a bit conflicted because on one hand- the food is pretty decent. The pita was great and the kabobs were also good but on the other hand this place is a bit run down. It is very much a hole in the wall and I have passed this place many times not realizing it was even there. It was a little bit hard to find as well because its storefront is so small. Overall, the food was pretty good, the portion sizes were decent and I think my favorite part was probably the pita bread. The lady at the front was very nice and the service was quick late at night. However, the actual building itself needs a little bit of a cleanup or renovation. Walls with marks and stains, seats, whose cushions are slightly cut up or damaged Not sure I would necessarily be back again, but we had someone that had dietary restrictions and so that's why we came. read more

Haven't been able to eat all day after a bad experience at a local restaurant last night, so I was really prepared to just get Chipotle -- then I saw the picture of their Gyro. The picture alone looked amazing, so after reading their menu and some reviews I had to give them a try. Came in looking near picture perfect (look at that wrap!). It was seriously well constructed, which is something you really don't notice unless it's bad. First bite got a touch of everything and to my sadness, meh ‍. The bread was great, and really carried the whole sandwich (lolol). The veggies were bright and fresh, there was a phenomenal pickle (needed more), and the meat was alright. Classic seasoning on the meat, but so classic it just came off as generic. Now the make or break is always the sauce, and they smothered this mother in their house tzatziki. Where. Is. The. Garlic. I was so disappointed! Everything about it was great, but I swear to you there was no garlic added at all. I'd definitely be willing to give another menu item a try again, because the Gyro was tasty, just extremely generic. read more

I've said it before and I'll say again, I wish Yelp would allow you to give half stars...anyways, I decided to give this place a try. The food was very good, but for the price and value, simply not enough! I got their chicken plater. It came with what seemed to be barely 2 ounces of chicken and then a bunch of salad. The hummus was delicious but didn't get enjoy pitta bread to enjoy it. The stuffed grape leaves were also very tasty but, again small and could've used a few more. I also had to wait forever for my food. It was me and one other customer, the guy behind the counter was the only one there! I was legitimately craving falafel pita and remembered that my husband and I tried it last year. Neither of us have a good memory, so we couldn't remember if it was awesome, so we decided to try again. Holy hell, was that falafel pita delicious! In all honesty I ate it cold after struggling to put our daughter to bed, and it was still excellent! My husband Ioved the chicken pita so much he got both a small and large. Ordered on DoorDash and order was ready for pickup in like 10 minutes. I got the two kebab rice platter (one chicken, one beef), a side of fries and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is definitely worth the extra $2! Chicken was most flavorful, and the beef was perfect kebab texture - chewy but still tender. They didn't have tabouli, which was supposed to come in the platter, but it was replaced with a Greek salad instead. Dressing is definitely homemade, and yummy. read more

The beef and lamb gyro was amazing! I ordered the small gyro and I thought it was the perfect size. I also paired it with a yummy Greek salad. It had a good amount of veggies, it didn't have an overload of sauce which I appreciate, and the pita bread was nice and fluffy. Not to mention, the meat was great as well. After a night out on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, we decided to stop by this place for a quick bite. Upon entrance, I really liked the bright, white vibe of the place as it felt like Greece but I've never been so I would not know. I ended up ordering a Lamb Gyro which took about 15 minutes to come out. After getting back to the place and eating the Gyro, I just did not feel anything. It just tasted like fuel, not food. There was a disappointing lack of flavor and felt like eating a mid sandwich. I am not trying to say that this place is bad but it was just nowhere on the level of other Mediterranean places I have had the pleasure of trying. Good, made to order food at affordable prices. It's a one man shop and he's nailing it. Very nice, hard working, and he cares. We enjoyed a Chicken Greek Salad and Chicken Yeero with Fries Platter. Which was all quite delicious and so much that we couldn't finish and were happy to take it home. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were able to sit in and they made sure we were very comfortable! Also love the strawberry mint drink that they have! I may go back tomorrow! read more

Love this place! I ordered online and it was ready just as I arrived. I got a chicken rice plate, which came with rice, a chicken kabob, tabouli, tzatziki, and pita. It tasted wonderful, I especially loved the tzatziki sauce and the chicken kabob flavoring. Good portions for the price. read more

The reason I am giving it two stars was because when we entered in, there was one young gentleman working. We waited for a few minutes and two random guys (I'm guessing the father and grandfather) got up from a table to fuss at him in Greek because he wasn't prepping it fast enough. The same two guys greeted us and then went back to sitting down with the rest of the family there. Finally the young guy got our order and we sat down. During this time, a 8 year old child was in and out of the kitchen grabbing food and delivering it to tables. Got our food by the kid. I got a large gyro and the misses got a single steak Greek platter. The amount of food versus the price you pay isn't worth it at. For a large gyro, I was left hungry and it was no larger than a double cheese burger. Also no fries came with it and pod over $8 for it. The misses was missing pita bread which I had to get up and get. The drink machine was out of syrups and carbonation. I want to hope that maybe when the family isn't sitting around being lazy and demanding food from the young man and instead helping, that I would be a better experience. I love grk yeero. I get the pita falafel and the Veggie pita which is great. Always get the combo. I pickup my food to avoid lines due to it being time consuming. It's always a go to when I want something quick and really good to eat. The serving size of it being small is really filing. The price is affordable so it's always a good stop. read more

This place is A-okay depending on what you order. I've tried both the chicken and falafel gyro and found the seasoning in the chicken very odd and didn't taste "Greek" to me. The falafel gyro was very good, however and I love the flatbread they used. The tzasiki sauce is pretty decent but it would be nice to offer this as a side if you wanted more for your meal. The prices are good for the area and one of the more affordable options so I would round up to 3.5. read more

This was a staple for me through college, and I still love it! Their chicken gyro is delicious and tastes really unique compared to other Mediterranean places around the triangle. I especially love the house made garlic sauce on the gyros. It's run by a family, and they're super nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend it! this was the first time we tried yeero!! we've been wanting to try it for a while & finally had the time to try it together! it's at such a convenient spot on franklin & near campus--especially has a wholesome atmosphere to it! they were out of the steak & lamb so my friends opted for the next best thing haha but it was all still very good! i really enjoyed eating it & am actually really craving one right now! it was pretty affordable & the sitting inside can hold a handful of tables of three-four ppl so not much of a party venue but a nice place for friends to catch up! read more
