This place is amazing ! I went there at a time when I couldn't afford much . I was looking for a dependable work van ,and had been many other places .I had to that date seen elsewhere ,a whole lot less van ,for a boatload more money elsewhere. I dropped by this place seeing the van on the side of their lot,thinking I would never be able to afford it. The salesman threw me a set of keys and said test drive it . I took it out and took it to try and push it for something to go wrong...nothing It drove,ran fine! Now I knew I wouldn't be able to afford it !!! When I found out it cost a third less than most other places I had been ,and how straightforward the people here were ?!?!?! I was sold. They were genuine ,trustworthy and stood behind their product ! I had some issues after I had bought the van and they fixed them all to my full satisfaction ! They even managed to deal with my nervousness ,and put up with a bit of my irritation. This van I bought since has had thousands of miles put on it well beyond the mileage I bought it at . It is now approaching 200,000 miles and still runs like a dream .I have driven it back and forth across the state of connecticut over and over at one point for work I had been doing contracting electrical work. I bought a car from them in July for $4000 dollars and from day 2 I was back there complaining that there was a transmission issue with the car their guy said there was nothing wrong 2 months later the issue that I had complained about finally had a name and the transmission needed to be replaced so Carl the owner was gonna refuse to do anything until he was informed by the person who sold me the car that I had been complaining since day 2 about the issue. Now the power steering fluid is leaking my mechanic said it was neglect on there part when they put the transmission in Carl the owner is a snake oil salesman he is the biggest piece of shit but he is not getting away with this shit. Every car in this lot has a problem and the guy is not being honest. I got a VW Jetta from him. I asked him what was wrong with the car. His response was nothing. After purchasing the car, It failed inspection. I spent over 2k to fix it. Just so you know, he will make you sign a waiver about the Massachusetts lemon law. Because all of the cars in the lot are mostly over 125k, that waiver just make it harder for you to ask him to fix what ever car that you buy from him. He's doing it to the most vulnerable people. Only to have the engine seize under 3000 miles, to which Carl insist was due to my negligence and questions whether Valvoline actually did replace the oil in my vehicle, despite having the receipt and sticker to prove it. Sold me my first car about 6months ago and well, I purchased it in a rush not the best price for the condition it was in. High miles (150k), many minor fixes needed to be done with the car. I encourage all who read this to do some research on where you get your car from because this place is sketchy. I wouldn't put too much trust into this place again if I could. I had check engine light issues consistently in the past 6 months, battery issues, bad gas leak and it did cost a lot to fix... buyers be cautious. Because I am new to cars, every time I brought the car back to them which was a total of 3 times, they used a machine to RESET the dashboard to conceal the check engine issue rather than fix the problem. So I bought a car in March from them and 7 days after the check engine light come on it wasn't a safety issue so he basically reset it until my 3 month warranted was up. Bought a car for nearly $300 less than the online asking price, which was over our budget but we somehow made it happen because we thought the car was a decent a car. It turns out that after paying $5800 and being told that he wasn't aware of anything being wrong with the car other than the sensor on the engine, we drove it, it sounded fine, we bought it. He said he'd change the MET sensor and we hoped he would, rather than just turn off the check engine light. Took the car for an inspection the same day we picked it up and it failed. We were told that he could tell there was a reset but couldn't be sure the was MET sensor was replaced and recommended that we drive the car for 100 miles!! If the light came back on, it means they didn't fix it. Thankfully the light didn't come back on, but that was just the beginning of our problems. The next day, we took it to the dealer and we're told that the car needs $6k worth of work and that the car wasn't safe the drive because the springs were broken, it needed struts, a sway bar, wheel bearings, etc. When they lifted up the car to show us the urgency of the matter, we had no choice. We've since put $4k worth of work into the car just so it would be safe to drive. On top that, he gave us a car with a hood that doesn't open and a key fob that doesn't work. You can't tell me that he didn't know the hood didn't open or that the key fob didn't work. For the love of God, save yourself the aggravation and from financial ruin. But, most importantly, a person who is selling cars that are not safe to drive, is putting your life, the life of your family, and others at risk. Not worth it! Lastly, MA LEMON LAW DOES NOT COVER YOUR PURCHASE IF IT HAS OVER 125k MILES and most of their cars have more than that. read more

I bought a car two years ago and it has given me NOTHING but problems. The amount of money I have put into this car is ridiculous. I bought it used so I knew it would not last that long but in the time I have had it, I have replaced: A/C system, starter, battery, three out of the four tires, the muffler, the tail pipe, a pipe that had a leak and the piece of crap is still overheating. It's been awhile out, there are some things wrong with the car that weren't listed in the car fax. So far have put about 700 bucks into repairs (brakes, ignition coils) still needs some work but overall the repair cost hasn't outweighed the purchase. Still runs great though. Don't anticipate it lasting forever but a good transition car. Do your due diligence and take prospect cars into your auto guy to get check out. Always good to head off unexpected costs but overall good service and a good car. Would I buy another car from them? Prolly not as I will be looking to buy new for my 2nd car but this is a great affordable option if your looking for something sturdy. read more

I went today to look at a 2009 Chevy Town & country caravan and a 2008 Chevy Town & country caravan. Both of which had exhaust leaks the 2009 had knocking in the engine and smelled horrendous. It also had a lot of problems with the body of the vehicle. so I turned it down and asked to test drive the 2008. Upon test driving the 2008 I realized that the front rotors need to be replaced, the brakes needed to be replaced, It had an exhaust leak, The two front tires needed to be replaced and there's something going on with the suspension. When I return to the dealership I had spoken to lee and told him my concerns. I told him that the price he had the van listed for was not a fair price considering the work that needed to be done. after I told him the things that I found that were wrong with the vehicle which are all safety problems. He then told me he didn't have to fix everything that was wrong with the van and would have to look over the van and tell me what he was able to fix. I had then explained to him that the things that were wrong with the van are things that are safety issues and need to be fixed before the van is sold. He then walked up to the vehicle with me and I pointed some things out including the front tires. He then told me that he would have to reevaluate the car and give me a different price. I am sure I will not be receiving a phone call back. They're looking to make a quick dollar and not have to put the work into the vehicles. He was not interested in selling a vehicle to me once I had showed him how knowledgeable I was. I am just grateful that I know what I'm talking about because I would have been screwed over. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! Although they play the straight forward act. Their mechanic can't even identify a obviously blown head gasket. That was pointed our and should have been covered under "warranty". They denied the damages and said to "keep driving the car, everything is fine and you will love the car bla Bla Bla".... Luckily the engine didn't blow... Yet... Everything they "guarantee to fix" they just cover up. And now I'm looking at dumping 3,600 into a used car... I wish I could give this place 0 stars because they're horrible crooks. They sold me a car that started acting up after less than two months. They turned off my check engine light even after I told them what was wrong with it after getting a diagnostic elsewhere. They told me it would be fine to drive on, but two weeks later it turned back on and my car suddenly died while I was driving it. They then tried to tell me it was my fault for driving on it and making the pre existing problems worse. My engine is now shot and I need a whole new one costing $3000, exactly what I paid for the car in the first place. read more

I am completely dissatisfied with my service I received while purchasing my car. It was only about 6 months since I purchased and it has more problems than I had expected (coming from Lee's guarantee that it was a reliable car). I cannot roll down my windows that he claimed to have "fixed" and told me to pay an extra $100 for. The axle (or whatever it was) on the car fell off while I was driving, 5 days after I purchased the car! He claimed to have fixed it but whenever I drive on the highway past 50 it shakes; whenever I press the brakes after starting the car, the car drags and has a problem stopping. I remember telling him this and brought the car back again for him to "fix" the problem that once again was not fixed. He had my car for about a week every time I gave it back and the problem still was not solved. When I asked to return the car within the 30 days he would not even let me. I feel as though Lee knew that car was going to be a problem but because I was a young woman and only had my mom there to help me look for a car, he felt he could cheat me out of $2200. I am completely disappointed, looking at the car I see that he just gave temporary fixes. My main concern is that he said "Don't worry about the warranty, whenever something is wrong, just bring it in." It seemed as if he knew I would be coming back with issues with the car. After coming back and complaining multiple times I just gave up and the fact that he wouldn't let me return it or provided any other option except to pretend to fix the problems with the car. The car completely died on me one night while driving on the highway in the pouring rain. The wipers stopped working, the lights shut off, and everything completely stopped working. It was the most horrific and terrifying experience I've ever had in my life. I was afraid of getting into an accident or worse due to a faulty alternator that he never told me would need to be fixed in a few months. So i bought a 2002 Chevy impala here in January of 2011. The car drove fine for 3 months or so, then i started having problems with it, spent about $700 or so on repairs..So I no longer wanted to waste my money on a car that I only bought for $2600, so I sold it before it died on me..so in February of 2012, I decided to give them a second try, and push my luck. and bought a 2000 mercury sable. and right from the start I had problems, I had to bring it back to them twice before it can pass inspection. Then it finally did. a month and a half after that, the engine blows and stops in the middle of the highway on me..I am glad I didn't have my 2 year old daughter in the car with. I called the salesman lee , and told him what happened, and I had the car towed there, they looked at it and said there was no oil in the car and that the engine blew..he proceeded to tell me all this other crap that didn't really help me or offer anything. I asked for a refund, because i believe he sold me a piece of crap car, and he said he would have his boss call me, which he did a day later to just tell me its not there fault and that basically i cant have a refund , but they can help me get another car there, and I said no..I am filing a smalls claim suit, because they sold me a crappy car twice. I will not let them get away with this. so please be aware that when your buying a car from them, its all sweet talk, but when something happens they will not take responsibility for it, an leave you high and dry. read more
