Do note entry for locals is cheaper than out of towners, but worth it either way. No children are allowed here. We came in a Sunday and it was pretty busy but there was still plenty of room. The bar has a wide variety of drinks so there's something for everyone! I enjoyed the mermaid punch. The blended pina colada was also good! They also offer food, however I hadn't ordered any. There are a lot of seating/cabana options for rent, I'd advise looking into that. We didn't and we had to look around for some open free seating, but it worked out! The lazy river moves at a good pace and they have floaties for you. They also offer bean bag toss, large pong, and even a wake board/surfing area! Super fun to watch and I'm hoping to give it a go next time.

They have a swim up pool Not over crowded- adults only. Very chill cool vibe. $20 entry includes little float They have chairs and summer material bean bags to chill in. It's a good time. I'd go again. Specially for those who stay away from river They also had a handicapped lift. (One observation for improvement- more availability for chairs/bean bags and more floats in good condition!)

My family enjoy the thrill of the slides, but that is all! If it wasn't for us living so close, our season passes and coming in at least twice per season then we are getting our monies worth but if I lived further I wouldn't make the drive. The food is mediocre, nothing special of their burgers, pizza, and chicken strips so opt out of the meal deal for the entire season and just visit the nearest restaurants right outside the park. The park is pretty spacious and we reside at one of the quieter areas as the kids roam around sine there is plenty of seating. Some slides need upgrades and perhaps have a better system of entrances and exits since small children can't read and a thin rope won't do much to stop anyone from entering/exiting. We are still going to come here every season until we see the park fall apart completely. It is fun to come for a couple hours and then head on home after a hot summer day.

oh no. this park just gets worse every time i come…read more when i started coming a good while ago it was really fun. the food was your avrage theme park / water park food, crowds werent the craziest, it was safe, all the good things. sadly, the more i came, the quality... took a nosedive lets just say. food prices began to spike, crowds were crazy awful, staff cared less, and the vortex slide was always a 30 minute wait for a 30 second slide. ( dont ask how i found out.) but the final nail in the coffin was when i came this year. we went on a weekend and, well, how do i put this nicely? it was hell. crowds were the largest they have been, i went down a slide and crashed into somone even though the lifeguard said i was good, and they closed the wave pool and activity pool for semingly no reason. the tornado slide and big kahuna had to use one staircase but instead of people using the brains they were supposedly born with, they murged into one messy line. because of the crowds and the closure of the two massive pools, a person was in every square inch of the park. honestly they were over capacity and that can be a huge safety concern. what if someone had a weapon? what is somone was hurt and they cant get to safety. and now, because of the new demographic being able to get jobs at the waterpark, they dont care about you. there were miltiple times i saw people making exuses to get to the top of the slide but really it was just their friend letting them cut in line. this place has just deteriated so much that its a shell of its former sel. if can even be that.

Big Rivers is great about offering reasonable pricing for families and they sponsor many nights where they spotlight groups, offering deep discounts. Parking was free. Finding a good parking spot was easy. If you got a special event, bring your walking shoes because there is a lot to see and do. Lots of activities including a petting zoo, carnival rides, axe throwing, inflatables, and more. We like that they have none of the carnival midway games that take your money for a modest prize. They offer lots of food options ranging from carnival fare like funnel cakes to regular food. Prices are what you would expect. The staff is pretty friendly, lots of young people but enough of the older folks to keep things running smoothly. Overall, it's a relatively inexpensive way to celebrate the holidays, giving you lots to do, see, and enjoy without breaking the bank.

Luckily people were finishing up and leaving by the time we were getting settled in. Good to know: You can bring an unopened/sealed water bottle or an empty reusable bottle and get it filled with ice and water inside. Free parking is available at the second entrance and the walk isn't bad at all. There are locker rentals in the bathrooms but also at 2 other locations near the pool chairs. There's only 1 family restroom, that I saw, and the stalls aren't large enough for changing clothes privately and comfortably. So come dressed and leave with an extra dry towel or swim cover lol. After going through the check in we put our things on the pool chair and got in the lazy river. After tubing around we got in line for the water slide. Then we finished up at the wave pool. All were fun and not overwhelming. There were enough pool floats to go around. And the staff were keeping the place clean. Afterwards we grabbed a personal pizza & soda from their stand which weren't too costly. They also have a BBQ restaurant available too. The only unfortunate parts was trying to eat with the yellow jacket bees around. There were so many getting on the food and drinks. And the bathroom not having private changing areas. There were amusement rides available too but we didn't have time for it. Upon leaving, the guy that's often seen on their social media posts (I don't know his position) was waving and saying goodbye to everyone. I thought that was a really nice southern hospitality gesture.

Friendly for kids of all ages with different sections offering slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and experiences for all age groups. My daughters (ages 7 and 3) particularly loved the kids slide section and the wave pool. I did see quite a few dead bugs and leaves in the lazy river and wave pool which was a little off putting. They have lockers to store belongings, as well as clean bathrooms and changing rooms onsite. They also offer a variety of food choices which are pretty good & reasonably priced. Very few crowds if you arrive right at opening time. I was happy to see there were no lines at all for the slides. They open a half hour early for season pass members; general admission is 11am. Definitely worth checking out for a day of family fun in the hot TX summer!
