We came here over a month ago. Just a lil Friday girls night after a long week. I think I've only been here twice before. Once for Music Bingo and another time it was Trivia night. Grabbed some wings and beer here the other day. Service was efficient, and since they have so many beers on tap, they let you sample them before you commit for a full draft. We've been here several times and tried different things on the menu. We love their wings and pizza, however fish tacos were quite a disappointment. Menu says blackened cod tacos but what I got were minced fish tacos. It was not a fish filly, but pieces of wish. Would not be getting them again. Will just stick to pizza and wings. Also I'm not sure how often you change oil where you fry tortilla chips, because those chips definitely didn't taste good. Tasted like oil was old and rancid. That was one of the best burgers I had in a while. I was craving a burger found them on yelp and my food was still hot. By the time I arrived. I also was allowed to swap out my fries for brussels sprouts! That is a 10 out of 10 in my book because that's my favorite vegetable and they nailed it. On a weekend?!? Come on. Then we went with plan B - fried chicken potstickers. Bad idea! Many restaurants have either fried or steamed potstickers, but these potstickers were deep-fried and flavorless. Like really overcooked deep-fried (look at my picture). The bill came, and we didn't look at it since we just wanted to get out of there. I work nearby and this restaurant is a nice addition to the area. I've only been for lunch a couple of times, which I only recommend if you're not on a tight timed schedule for your lunch. The servers are always great but it's pretty busy so the food turn around time is not great. They have nicely processed lunch specials everyday, but I believe you can actually get whichever special throughout the week. I'm a wings gal and have only had the wings lunch special. The wings are huge! I wish they were a tad bit smaller because large wings always have a funny taste to them, like there's a fine line between cooking them too much and them being undercooked. The buffalo wings are decent, taste like the sauce I get from the store or mix up myself with butter. The lemon pepper wings have a nice flavor but the rib didn't stick well. Their fries are great! My colleague had their fried fish and wasn't impressed. Went out to lunch with a group of colleagues to Brass Tap Marietta on a Thursday a few weeks ago. Ordered their sweet heat bacon burger. I was late getting there, but it still took a while to get served. I took a bite of the burger and saw that it was still pink inside. So, I'm taking responsibility of not sending the burger back, but since most of the group had already finished eating, I didn't want to be the guy to make everyone wait. I should have sent it back. That night at 2am, I woke up retching and in horrible pain. Not a pleasant experience, but praise God that I have an iron constitution and was able to get over the food poisoning quickly. So, I'm giving Brass Tap 2 stars instead of 1 because of my own part in getting sick. However, I am writing this to point out that every short order cook (the entire kitchen staff really) should be using meat thermometers to check for internal temperature. We cook to temp and not time. Every restaurant should know this (and every home cook should know this too). Food poisoning kills many each year (especially older folks with weakened immune systems... most of our immunity lies in our gut), so this could have turned out much worse for someone else. Brass Tap, please buy your cooks digital meat thermometers. They are $12 on Amazon.com. Cheap insurance and that will save your clients horrible experiences and probably keep reviews like this from being written. I know that I'll never cross that threshold again. read more

Mac and cheese bites were yummy. I forgot to try the sauce it comes with but others said it was good. I tried the buffalo cauliflower bites (I'm not a big fan of cauliflower) and it was good. Nice to see that as an option. I ended up with the everything bagel pretzel which was huge. Comes with a white queso dip. I should have put a bowl in my lap to catch all the seasonings that fell off as I was eating it. Fresh out of the oven but not so hot you can't eat it. Ideal to me. The burgers looked good. They have impossible meat for those interested in that. The sweet heat BBQ sauce was said to have a bit of an after kick to it. The fries were lightly seasoned and fresh. You can also get tater tots instead. Nachos are not for the faint of heart. Our server said it was meant to share and she was not kidding. It was a mountain of chips and toppings. I didn't think I was going to like it, but I enjoyed it far more than the breaded buffalo cauliflower I've had at other places. The tots were also good, but the cauliflower was my fav! To start for drinks, my sister had the raspberry lemon drop martini which was amazing. I had the margarita flight. Unfortunately, I have to be honest and say I did not like it. It was WAY too sweet! So sweet it made my cheeks pucker. My suggestion; more tequila and less sugary mix. My brother had an old fashioned which was good as well. We also tried some of the craft beer.
