Adaven Children's Dentistry is a gem in Henderson, NV, and Dr. Travis Neu is hands-down one of the best pediatric dentists we've ever had the pleasure of seeing. My daughter had an unexpected chipped tooth, and I was worried, both about the tooth itself and how quickly we could be seen. The team at Adaven -- especially Sabrina and Kathy -- were so welcoming, understanding, and willing to help at all times. We were scheduled on short notice and were treated with genuine care from start to finish. Dr. Travis went above and beyond to help us, even adjusting his own schedule to make sure we had the time needed for this mama to leave happy! He patiently walked me through all our options (even while it became a bit more chaotic with the kiddos), and his calming, friendly personality made us feel completely at ease. My sister is a dentist out-of-state and it has been rare for me to find a dentist that matches what I consider a 5-star dentist and Dr. Travis has exceeded my expectations! He has children of his own and treated us as if we were family - he did for me what he would want done for him if he was in this same situation. He went above and beyond for me and I cannot be more appreciative. I am now SO incredibly happy that I don't have to fly out-of-state with two toddlers to see a family dentist when we now have a 5-star dentist right here in Henderson, NV! The result? My daughter had a very bad experience with the orthodontist at Adaven Children's Dentistry, Dr. Samer Faranesh. From the very beginning, we were never told of all possible complications or modifying procedures that could arise. For example, we were not told beforehand that he might need to shave some enamel to make room for tooth movement. Only at the moment he saw a need to remove enamel were we told of this procedure. A few weeks later, he said there was need for more enamel removal, which we declined to do. Also, about half way through treatment, we noticed that our daughter's teeth appeared to flare out, and widen her face and smile to a degree that we found unacceptable and to which we alerted Dr. Faranesh. At first, he claimed not to see what we were seeing and reminded us that we were only about half way through treatment. As weeks passed, the condition worsened and we wanted to know what was going on. Dr. Faranesh told us he purposely made here face and smile wider because he likes a wide smile. He never said he would do this and never asked permission to do this. We were never given the option to decide for ourselves how we wanted her smile to look. Nor were we advised that changing her face so drastically was even a possibility. The widening of the smile also made her lips appear bloated and we pointed this out to the doctor as well. Unbeknownst to us, behind our backs, the doctor said to our daughter 'it's lucky you have full lips'. This was very unprofessional to talk to our daughter like this without our knowledge. We have ended treatment with Dr. Faranesh and started with a new orthodontist that has shown us a computer model of how our daughter will look after treatment and has said there should be no need to shave enamel. Unfortunately, our dental insurance will only cover one orthodontist treatment for the lifetime of the policy, so, we have to pay out of pocket for the new treatment. This has been a very emotionally and financially burdensome experience for us. We hope our story will help others to avoid this same ordeal. read more

I just have to say how my child's experience at the dentist was amazing lol. I mean the play area abs movies helped a ton.. My little 4 year old had 6 cavities and I was absolutely a wreck thinking how will this turn out. However I was blown away how well it went . My daughter took it like a champ , they have her a drink and then once that mask went on she was a still as could be . It went so well that what two visits was planned they were able to knock them all out at one time. Which phew , and my daughter never once flinched, cried or anything. So even after the procedure got her home and within minutes was "back to normal". Neve complaining about pain even afterwards even days after. I assumed there would be pain and soreness ..
