I highly do not recommend! If I could give negative stars I would. Office is filthy, dentist abused my dental insurance. When I took my daughter to get a second opinion, the dentist was shocked when I told him what the recommendation was from this office. My daughter was crying in pain and discomfort whenever she got the crowns done. The dentist told me she was fine and it was normal. I was concerned bc I had seen my other child undergo laughing gas and fillings but never was she crying. I decided to take her to another dentist to fix her crown bc it broke the next day (I limited her hard foods, it came out when she brushed her teeth) When I took her to get her crown fixed by someone else, they did XRAYs and while tooth fairy dental told me she needed ANOTHER THREE CROWNS on her other side, the second opinion told me she needed none on that side! Absolutely livid, because she probably didn't need the other crowns on her other side either! Which brings me to my next point, my daughter didn't cry one bit while she got her crowns fixed. She was calm, comfortable and gave me thumbs up. Which shows that they didn't properly treat my daughter's mouth before working on her crowns! Run! As fast as you can. They're never in the office. I found my dentist, all the employees are very friendly and understanding. I was looking for a dentist for my little one and all the others I've gone to always tried to give very overpriced quotes, This dental office will be my go to now, they're very resourceful and they help with payments. For little ones they let you stay in the room while they do the procedure which gives mommy peace of mind, I'm a helicopter mom so this is a big plus for me. The staff didn't know how to work the equipment, sprayed water all over my kids face & didn't bother to help her as she's laying down. And then the dr pushes a button on the chair my daughter is about to lay on & then walks out on as as the chair is still going backwards & my kid is literally about to slide off upside down. Beware! My teenage children were seen by Minh Luong who is apparently the owner. They had a horrible experience. My son told her he didn't feel numb and she proceeded to drill his cavity anyways. When he jumped from the pain she told him not to jump. She finished without numbing him more. My daughter had three cavities and she also wasn't numb enough. When my daughter asked for more numbing meds she gave her a shot on the roof of her mouth and hurt her so bad. She's 18 and was crying. While we were waiting for the numbing meds to kick in she went next door to work on another teenager who busted out yelling in tears from the pain. She has no compassion and hurts her patients. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! The patient's time is not valuable to them at all. I don't get what the point of making an appointment is. They make you wait over an hour just to get called into a room!!! Many many many people have spoken up about this and STILL they don't care enough to fix this issue. It's very rude and unprofessional. I would change my kids to a different dentist but it's very hard to find one that works with their insurance. On top of it, when you complain or ask what's taking so long THEY have the audacity to have an attitude. I don't even know where to start. The staff is RUDE, they take forever to do anything, they don't really explain to you what's going on you have to ask. Today was my breaking point. I've been bringing my kids here for 6 years and in the beginning everything was good but since covid everything has been crap. My son had a retainer put on his teeth after getting two canine teeth pulled so his teeth wouldn't shift. A whole YEAR goes by and no one says anything ( I take them every six months for checkups.) and this is during covid when things start to open and they wouldn't let me go back with my kids at all. So finally after we leave I call and I ask what's going on with his teeth and how much longer does the retainer have to stay on? I get put on hold and they come back and were like oh he needs to see an orthodontist! WTF! Why am I just now finding out!? Why didn't anyone tell me until I call and ask and I was literally just there. Fast forward to today, I've had this appointment for 6 months. My appointment was at 1 and I always get to my appointment 15/20 minutes early. I call, check in and they tell me they'll call me when they're ready. One comes around and I'm still waiting which is fine because I was early but then 1:15 comes and now I'm getting a little upset. I call ask how much longer and they say about 10 more minutes. Then I see 4 parents who pulled up after me take their kids in. Smfh I'd been waiting in my car an hour and never got called. Don't bring your kids here if you want the best care. My 18 year old daughter went to the back to get a regular check up and chemical splashed in her eye while she was laying flat with no eye protection. My daughter had a 2:00pm appointment. We arrived at 1:50pm. She didn't go in to see the dentist until 2:50pm. It is now 3:38 pm and still sitting in the waiting room! This NON quality of service happens each time we have an appointment. The problem I'm faced with is there is limited providers that our insurance is affiliated with. My 7 and 8yr old children have been seeing Dr, Cox of Anthem Pediatric Dentistry for the past 3 1/2 years. We were very happy with Dr. Cox and his office environment. My dental insurance changed for 2014 and Dr. Cox was not a preferred provider, so I checked my provider directory for a Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Luong and Toothfairy dental was a preferred provider. I made my appointment in December for Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at the Henderson office. On their website, it shows two locations (Las Vegas and Henderson) each with their own phone numbers. I called the Henderson office number and confirmed on the phone for this location. I received a text on January 22, confirming my appointment on January 29th. On January 29th, I arrived at the Henderson office to see Dr. Luong, and the doors were locked and no one was inside the practice. We were 15 minutes early so I called the number on my text that I saved. I was told the Henderson office is closed on Wednesday, that Dr. Luong is at the Sahara Ave location. I was put on hold and was told my appt. was for Thurs, Jan 30 at the Henderson location. I told the lady on the phone that when I made my appt. it was for the 29th and I have the text message still confirming this. Needless to say, I was very upset. I took off work early and took my kids out of school early for this appt. Now I had to do the same thing the next day. We arrived for the appointment on January 30 on time and the waiting room was crazy. I explained the appointment mess up with the front desk and just got a 'sorry'. I was told that the Henderson phone number rings to the same person as the Sahara Ave number, like I knew this or it said that on the website. I explained that I had to sign a form for this practice that if I miss an appt. I will be charged $50. I asked what about their mess up and the financial hit I took? Again, just told 'sorry'. We were seen 45 minutes after we got there. Dr. Luong spent all of 30 seconds with each of my kids. She found a cavity on my daughter's molar. When she examed my son, she didn't even mention his underbite that Dr. Cox pointed out 2 years ago (he is having an Orthodontic evaluation next week). When I asked if he still had the under bite, Dr. Luong then looked and said he did. This was our initial exam with this practice and she never even pointed it out or saw it. She didn't know I knew about the under bite. I found out Dr. Luong is a general dentist, with no advanced training in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Cox does have advanced training in this field. I will be going back to Dr. Cox for my daughter's filling and all future visits, happily paying the non-preferred provider rate until I can change my insurance for 2015. Toothfairy dental's exam rooms in Henderson were very tight and uncomfortable. Dr. Cox's practice is wide open and both kids could sit next to each other and be cleaned at the same time. At Toothfairy dental there are small rooms that can only hold one child at a time. When I made the appointment, I was told that 3pm is the last appt. for Dr.Luong. When she examed my kids at 4pm due to the office running late, I felt rushed by her and felt she did not give my kids a thorough exam. I explained the appointment problem with her and just got a 'sorry'. Forgot to say my daughter did not have a cavity as Dr. Long told us. Her sealant on her molar broke off and Dr. Cox just resealed it. STAY AWAY read more

My children have been going to this office for 2.5 years and very visit it gets worse and worse. The only reason we ever came back is because my children love dr Jeff. The woman, who we had once was not personable and rough with my kids. The office staff is unprofessional and impersonal. They can't get billing right for the life of them. The reason why we decided to leave tooth fairy is because our new insurance now allows us to get 4 cleanings a year. This office would not honor it. The dentists refuse to have a patient come in for only a cleaning so therefore they would need to see the dentist, which we are only covered for twice a year. They are money hungry and extremely sneaky. When we said we were no longer going to be using their office they refused to transfer over my children's files. The most recent time I called them I said my reason for visit and they said hold please I waited they asked again I told them, got it scheduled. My recommendation do go there. Bad business practice. That will not work with you if you can't pay up front with the bill. We ask if the bill was still outstanding. No answer from them. So what they do is wait until your bill is in delinquent statice before they contact you so all these fees will accumulate. So they can screw you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't bother going there I know there's a lot more customers who got screwed just like us. We were left $700 left but had to pay $300 extra for BULLSHIT fees which could have been resolved if they just contacted us. They ripped out my 4 front teeth they didn't grow back for 4 years

Drove here across town and then I am told I have to have ID for them to see my daughter. Do not go here. I should have known from when I spoke and the lady wouldn't schedule me an appointment without the insurance information. Then she told me she can't look it up....she's the only person who can't. I have given my first and last, and SSN and any place I have been to has been able to pull up my insurance information. I found my ID in the car, called them and asked if ID would be enough, was told yes, and that they won't need physical insurance, then when I went back in she kept asking for the physical copy of the insurance ID. I told her she needs to figure it out because I am not driving across town to get the insurance for her. Finally she asked if we can have a picture emailed. Done. My husband sent the picture to me and I emailed them. Feels like you have to yell and scream for them to help you. Also last I checked random strangers do not bring children into dentist office to have their teeth looked at. Rude and unprofessional. I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. I am getting her visit here today but finding a different one for her next visit. I would like to point out that the dental assistant and the dentist are amazing. I guess I should have read these reviews!! I made an appointment for 1:00. I have another appointment at 3 so I figured 2 hours would be enough time. At 12:30 I get a call asking if we can come at 1:30 instead. I say I have this really important meeting and I can't miss it. Will I be done in time? How long does this last? Will other 1:30 people get in before me? They assure me it will be fine. I get there at 1:25 and call the check in number. I see THREE other kids go in after that. I'm thinking why in the world are all these people going in before us when we had a 1:00 appointment????? I finally call and ask if those other people were 1:30 appointments and they say YES. So even though I was considerate and came 30 minutes later due to the dentist being late, and tell them I need to be gone by 2:00, they let all the 1:30 appointments in first. How hard of a concept is this people? YOU asked me to come at 1:30. Why in the world would you see people with later appointments before me, especially after I expressed my concern??? This place is horrible!! The office is dirty and crowded, staff is mediocre and NOT welcoming at all. Plus the wait times are ridiculous, you'll be waiting 30 + minutes AFTER your scheduled appointment to be seen.. The female doctor is in and out, doesn't explain anything really, never gives you other options. She's like "this is what has to be done and that's that" She has NEVER EVER been friendly to my child, I don't think she's ever even smiled nor made my daughter feel comfortable. She's made decisions about pulling teeth without verifying with an X-ray first which made me feel very uneasy( I believe they do unnecessary work just to bill insurance companies).. My child HATED this place as did I.. If you have the option, look for a different dentist.
