This was my first time here. I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning online. Online scheduling was very easy to do. The office was very clean and modern. Since it was my first visit, they did X-rays too. I was told the visit would be $25. I thought I'd be there for an hour. I was there for 2 hours and 15 min. They really should tell you that the first visit is going to be this long so people can plan accordingly. They told me to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment, but I waited a half hour before I left the waiting room. I had already filled out the paperwork online, so there was no need for me to be there so early. The dentist was pleasant and thorough . She did my exam and reviewed the procedures she recommended. Then, the insurance girl came in to talk about what my insurance covers. I told her all I wanted today was the cleaning. For some reason that price was now $75 instead of the $25 they told me it would be when I first arrived. I paid the $75. Finally, the hygienist came in to clean my teeth. She was very friendly and she did a great job cleaning my teeth. On my way out, I noticed they had a sign in the window that said a cleaning, exam, and x-rays was $59 for new patients. I'm not sure why I was charged $75, even with my insurance, if they're only charging other new clients $59. Overall, the medical professionals at this office were professional and competent. The wait time and total visit time took too long. And I feel like I overpaid considering they charged me more with insurance, than they do people without. read more

I was seen here last in March 2025 for a filling on one tooth. After it was done I was in pain. Couldn't bite down, went back and had them try to fix it. Barely fixed it i still couldn't bite down but i was tired of going back so I just dealt with it and eventually got used to it... Idk what she did to my tooth, but this is the second Dentist i see there that does a filling and it hurts the same if not worse.. like i mentioned already it's been since March 2025 and every time i floss that same tooth it bleeds A LOT. I never had that issue before hand. I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. Few years ago i even got a mouth guard from this place. They made it seem like i must get it from them blabla i paid $300... when they had it on Amazon for like $30 they couldn't even give you other options they just get on you like you must get it... definitely more of a money grab place read more

On 12-08-2025, I had a teeth cleaning with Dental Hygienist Chloe, she was awesome. Chloe was gentle, thorough, patient and she would ask me if I was okay during the cleaning. Dr. Santoyo was also awesome, she was gentle, she let me know what was going on with my dental health and answered all of my questions. Dr Velayo is my dentist and I felt very comfortable with her right away. She is the type of woman who works hard and loves what she does. No "water", strait to the point. Which I like. I used to love going to Green Smiles Dentistry, but after several occasions of being overcharged, my last visit cost was clearly out of the norm. When I questioned it, the front desk got snippy and said to her coworker that "She is the one I was talking about" as if I was being difficult. When the manager came, she corrected the overcharge. Then I had to listen to the dental assistant tell me that I could not have another appointment because I did not agree to another gum planing and scaling. I had faithfully attended my cleanings. My wife and I felt as if we were in the sales manager's office at an auto dealership; there was a hard sell for additional procedures before cleaning and polishing, or even meeting the dentist. I imagine there is tremendous overhead expenses with an operation like this that has the newest machines and large work force, and it's probably owned by a hedge fund, so money comes first, then possibly the patient. Both terribly disappointed, especially after being under the care of an honest, caring independent dentist for so many years, that retired due to health issues. Both of us felt that we received the bums rush once we wouldn't acquiesce to expensive procedures, as the cleaning and polishing was done in record time, after arriving at 9am and leaving after 11. They reluctantly realize that I hadn't even seen the actual dentist, after I returned to the lobby, but I had enough and declined. As the song says, beware of smiling faces. read more

I have had many deep cleaning procedures done throughout my 65yrs. Every time the aftermath of the procedure would be agonizing jaw pain and crawling into the fetus position and wanting to be left alone. Their hygienist, Cloe (spelling is correct), she made this whole experience PAINFREE from start to finish. No agonizing pain, none, for the rest of the day. During the whole time in the chair, she constantly checked to make sure I was ok. She is a rock star. I told the office manager, I won't have anymore of these cleanings in the future done there if Cloe is no longer around. You can be good at what you do but not care enough about the patient. Today i had a very pleasant experience with an 8:30 appointment, despite the early morning i was happily greeted by who i believe to be the manger i did not get her name but she was very kind and helpful and showed me some of her awesome crystals after she complimented mine. As much as it may be a burden to take care of one's health, it's even worse when you do not take initiative to prevent future problems. I have been coming here since Nov 2024. I read a lot of reviews before I picked this office and I am so glad I did. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable from the beginning to the end. I came here with issues since I had not been keeping up my with my dental health. We discussed in detail what needed to be done and then it was time to get busy. Have you ever been some where and just felt like they were trying to dig in your pockets for all the money and loose change they could grab. From the you need this right now, to the you need to sign paperwork acknowledging you need the treatment we just told you, and to the "one time courtesy" cleaning because after that we will only do the treatment we told you because "we have a moral and ethical duty". I used to love this place at one point in time. Heck, I even got my wife to change dentist to go here. But sadly that all changes. My family used Green Valley Smiles for three years. Why did we switch to another dentist? On more than one occasion I found extra charges on the billing statements for procedures that weren't done. The office staff did correct it when I brought it to their attention, but the onus and hassle is on you. The last straw was their faulty work--I took the advice of the dentist and let him place 4 prophylactic fillings, which involves filing down part of the natural teeth to make room for the fillings. After two weeks, those fillings started to come off, and by two months, all of them had fallen out. Twice I called the office for help, and both times the staff said there was nothing they could do and offered no solutions. I'm out several hundred dollars with exposed spots on my teeth. Sketchy bookkeeping, and they don't stand behind their work... you can get better dental care anywhere else. read more

Don't get your crowns done here! They come off and break- they place them poorly. Their own dentist (who no longer works there) even told me that he has never seen crowns come off so easily- I think it was his last day and he was warning me- I was there at the time to get my crown put back on. My husband's tooth that they worked on had the crown come off too, then replaced and now is abscesses and has a deep infection. It's a mess!! You have been warned! They are also super shady- I was told that their x-rays they take and imaging can only be read by their system- no other system can open up their digital file. They cannot give you the digital file- only a paper print out which is useless. This makes no sense and is just super shady. This severely limits coordination of care if you want a second opinion. Huge red flag. In the beginning my husband and I went here and were told we both needed root canals and crowns. We got both done- didn't have insurance at the time and paid $6K out of pocket. Within months my crown came off, and a year later my husband's crown came off. They put them both back on and I was then told at another visit that I need a cavity re-done and another crown. At this point I decide to get a second opinion and they tell me that my teeth are great and that I absolutely do not need to re-do my old cavity and I def do not need a crown on that tooth. They also noticed that the crown that was done by this place had a gap and poor placement and could cause me problems- so I had to pay to get it re-done. It finally feels right. It always felt off. My husband's crown also was poorly placed (they even "fixed" it once) and he did not get it re-done at our new dentist and now has an infection in the bone. He will have to get it re-done and may even loose the tooth. Just don't do it!! Don't go here! One last thing... I was told I needed a deep cleaning - cost me crazy money because I didn't have insurance at the time (we do now), but they had a payment plan I could use! Yay!! During the cleaning the hygienist said "oh wow, your teeth are not even bad- they are fine". I don't think she knew that I was the one paying and that i didn't have insurance. You just can't trust anyone here. read more

This is a fantastic dentist's office. The front desk is kind and on top of appointments and communication. The dentist I met with, Dr. Hoyle, is a true professional and was able to resolve my tooth pain quickly and painlessly. Nadine and Chelsea were also great and helped me with navigating my appointments. I unfortunately had to get a root canal procedure and a new crown. I just want to take the time to say what an amazing experience I had here at Green Valley Smiles Dentistry. I came in and was greeted by Chelsea, Nicole and Sam at the front desk and it was nothing but smiles and laughter. After checking in, Dr. Hoyle took the time to sit with me in the lobby and talked to me about my concerns. He really took the time to listen to me and gave me a boost of confidence! I was then brought back for x-rays by dental assistants Kim and Sammy. Kim did soooo well with the x-rays and was super friendly and easy to talk to. Sammy was also very friendly and checking in on us. From there, I was brought back to the room by Stefanie, who is also a dental assistant. She was very kind and even told me about her experience and helped to calm my nerves. Soon after, Dr. Hoyle came in and diagnosed me with the type of cleaning I needed. Sam (health coordinator) soon came in and told me how much I would be paying and even took the time to answer any questions I had regarding it all. He was very kind! After signing, Dr. Hoyle was able to start my cleaning and Kim assisted him. I'm truly super happy because I was not confident with my smile before and have had bad experiences at OTHER offices that only seemed like they cared about the money. I do have needed dental issues and ready to take in the world. I have been to 4 dentists in my 58 years. I HATE THE DENTISTS!!!!!. Who likes going to them? So my sights are super high on quality and no pain. Let alone what my independent insurance will pay. Hardly nothing. But anything helps. I go in Racheal up front arranges my appointment with Dr. Cheng Tang I have noticed the doctors and staff as we crossed paths. I see this petite, beautiful, tender, kind, patient, supportive, informative, young Doctor in a white coat come in. She gives me all of my woos regarding my already knowledgeable dental issues. Off I start appointment 1 consultation appointment 2 I have a cavity that needs tending, 3rd visit I have a old crown that needs tending to. Let me tell you the office is clean, my whining pissy self I request warm water because my teeth are so sensitive, my tongue wonders around like Simon Biles qualifying for the Olympics, my sensitive gums; the works. I am a dentist worse nightmare. This office goes over options for costs, calls for appointments, works together, remembers your name, professional, and after I had my crown replaced the Dr. Tang calls me a few days later to ask how am I doing. Who does this? All in all I would suggest this office for any of your dental needs. Did I mention the dental hygienist and the assistants for Dr. Tang? Fabulous. Great place.
