The worst company we have ever contracted! Never before have…read moreI experienced more cleanups, redo's and nightmares after a job was supposedly completed than what we experienced with Amici Development. Let's begin with Amici Development storing their equipment in our garage for 7 weeks on a job that initially was quoted as being completed in 2.5-3 weeks. This created quite a burden on where to live for that additional time. A situation where Amici Development offered no additional time consideration or empathy to. Now let's start with the work crew. Never once did we have the same crew, which meant the "second team" had no idea where the "first team" left off - whether it be trimming, skim coating, sanding or even painting. Amici's follow-up was atrocious! The only two words in their vocabulary was, "Job Complete", when in actuality it wasn't even satisfactory. Our main focus was to have the popcorn ceiling removed, cleaned, primed and painted in the living room, along with the walls painted in several other areas. Yes, the main area of popcorn ceiling was removed, but if you look at every seam where the wall meets the ceiling, you would notice remnants of textured popcorn throughout the ENTIRE wall/ceiling line. Let it also be known, two areas were never touched and never did get completed. Dan Leonard (owners) response was, "well this is a big job" . What do you think we contracted you for? A small job. If you can't complete a job, then walk away before you start. We didn't need the problems Amici Development created. Straight paint lines - "good luck"! Paint splatter - "let's share the wealth"! Broken doors and destroyed slip covers - "Amici is your full service turnkey company"! Cleanup afterward - "not necessary, we embed plaster and paint particles into your floor, not pick it up"! The list of shortcomings with Amici Development goes on and on, but I have better ways to spend my time than express each of them! Long story short, we took Amici Development to Small Claims Court to get restitution on a job not completed and won. Attached are several pictures of Amici Development's work quality in our home. Based on just these pictures, you can determine if the work is excellent, average or just plain crappy! I think you know where we stand! My wife and I just don't want you to make the same mistake we did by not researching the company better. Buyer beware if contracting Amici Development.

I signed a contract with this company in October 2021, and when the house was sold on 18 July 2024,…read morethe painting was still incomplete. The color we selected was not the color we received. The crew at the time checked with the office when we questioned it and gave us the excuse that it just looks lighter when its outside. The quote was for two coats of paint, and I only received one. We can still see the old yellow paint through the brush strokes, and some areas weren't even painted. Areas that are white have blue paint on them, and the front door area has deck stain on the walls. Very sloppy and poor quality of work. The crew also left their equipment in my garage for months. When we finally got them out to complete the touch ups, they asked us for the colors again because they kept no records of what they had used. This is when we confirmed they used the wrong color because we now had two different blues on the house. Their excuse this time was the supplier initially sold them the wrong color. To get the work done before the house was listed, I accepted the wrong color if they completed the touch ups. After multiple attempts they couldn't paint match the color they originally used. It took me contacting the supplier and getting the color they used myself. After all this, they still didn't complete the touch ups. I had to work through four different people at this company. Three of them no longer work there, and the fourth being the consistent problem. When it came time to sell the house, we had an attorney attempt to get us a refund via a letter. The company's response was a threat to call my work and claim I was committing fraud while representing the military. Unfortunately, I ran out of time in the area, and I couldn't take them to a small claims court. Very unprofessional company and I caution anyone who uses them. Attached are only a few of the pictures I took showing the low quality of work. If you do find yourself using this company, here are my lessons learned: 1. Have them put the square footage of the area being painted on the quote. 2. Have them provide you an itemized list of labor and supplies. 3. When you can see the square footage and the amount of supplies/paint they are using, a simple google search can tell you if they are using enough paint to give you the quoted coats. A legitimate business should have no problem providing this information. 4. Pay the deposit and 50% to get it started, but do not pay the other 50% until all work is completed to your expectations. 5. Shop around and get multiple quotes. If you want quality, expect to pay a little more. The same evening I met her neighbor who also worked with Thomas to refinish her kitchen. I had been thinking about doing this in my kitchen as my dark cabinets, while beautiful and perfectly functioning, made my space look very dark. Like many people, I spend the majority of my time at home in my kitchen. I scheduled a consult with Thomas and his team and was struck by their eye for design and ability to keep the things we had that worked well and enhance them by adding just the right colors to make the space more current and to add brightness. I did not feel oversold and they took the time to come out several times to help us work through color decisions. When the crew came to do the work I was awestruck with their diligence, attention to detail, focus on preparation, and cleanliness. They minimized disruption to our family, and executed the project perfectly. Thomas came by frequently to be sure the project was on track. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I absolutely give Thomas Mach Interiors five stars! The entire process and the outcome were flawless.

We had looked at replacing cabinets and at painting and we decided the cabinets were great and checked on painting. Some of the painters we looked at did not do the quality job we wanted (visible brush strokes etc.) so we contacted Thomas Mach for a consultation. He came and shared his vision for how our kitchen could look and we decided right then to go ahead on the project. His team was so professional, and completely protected the rest of the house from the painting. Everything was sprayed on the spot using Farrow and Ball Paint which carries a 6 year warranty. They also helped us decide on new countertops and back splash. They managed the entire project start to finish and we had a new kitchen in just over a week. We were so impressed we had them also paint our dining room which needed it. This was not a low cost project and more expensive than other companies we checked with, but the quality, professionalism and speed made the choice obvious and worth the value.

I called and texted him and he came to visit and look at the peeling while painting our neighbors home (after our recommendation). He said he'd be back with a crew in a few weeks to fix it. I never showed up. I continued to call and text and never responded. He also never responded to the Better Business Bureaus requests for resolution so now we are pursuing with the State Department of Consumer Protection. I will be providing them with copies of my cashed checks. Over $7000! We had to hire another painter to fix Dale's mistakes. The painter we hired told us that our house was not properly prepped and primed before being painted. It should never have peeled had it been done properly. I really trusted Dale with the job. We are so disappointed.

I called TVP owner, Dale Bealieu right away. He promised to be back in 2 weeks to fix the problem. He never showed. I called again and he promised again to be back in 2 weeks. He never showed and never called. Dale B. is not a man of his word. TVP painted my house back in 2009 and did a good job. This last paint job in 2016 was a bad experience. TVP no longer cares about a quality paint job or happy customers. What happened Dale???? I will never use TVP again.
