They have one of the best funnel cake trucks with amazing fried Oreos, sooo good!!! Treat Dreams has an ice cream truck with their famous flavors. The ice cream cookies are the absolute best!!! They have an eclectic variety of food trucks that look and smell mouthwatering. But they could use more seating, it's very limited compared to the amount of people eating the goodies. I love the adult beverages available to purchase through tickets. They have a ginormous variety of beer and mixed drinks, plus some of the money goes toward different charities and good causes. It's ten tickets for $20, but this year I noticed you may purchase individual tickets. I prefer this option! Tickets are $2 a piece, so most beers cost around $6 or three tickets. I got the Griffinclaw pumpkin beer. It was amazing! Very pumpkin forward with a nice spice aftertaste. Most of the mixed drinks are between three and four tickets, cheaper than most bars. I've even seen some for two tickets. The parking can be challenging. We were able to find a good spot and only paid $3.00. But I wonder if it gets more challenging in the evening hours. I bet this a fun time at night. This is a great event when paired with the Funky Ferndale fair. I look forward to next year.

The drinks are on the higher side, but similar to most places nowadays. The interior is dark, decorated in purple and black, but a nice, smaller venue to listen to music. We saw Rockstar, which sounded really good and the lead singer was quite entertaining with costume changes, etc. The venue did have some sound issues, so the band went on a little longer. We sat at high tables on the main floor, they also have seating upstairs and a dance area near the stage. A nice place to spend a couple hours with friends and hear live music.

I usually park on the residential street behind the venue because by the time I arrive, the surrounding parking lots are all full. This works out in my favor though because I have not had to pay for parking. You enter through the back where they check your ID and scan your ticket. They have a nice little seating area with benches towards the back and a decent sized area for a "pit" where you would watch the show. All of their drinks seem fairly priced for a music venue. I paid $8 for a Bell's Oberon Eclipse. It does get SUPER hot in there, especially if you are in the mix closer to the stage. I feel like the music sounds pretty good here and I usually leave feeling super pleased with my experience.

Cheaper than an arena that's for sure! The lights and sometimes the pyro that is allowed here is top notch. We started out with Happy Hour at The Fillmore Detroit Bar for food and a refreshing drink. The bar is the former State Bar. It is a cool place to chill and the service was very quick. I had a Watermelon Lemonade Riffresher, chicken tenders and fries. It was an excellent venue for us to hear from author Kamala Harris to talk about her new book, 107 Days. She was delivering a message on her short road to the presidential campaign and the state of affairs today that have many U. S. Citizens feeling emotionally hijacked....but I digress. This was a great opportunity to experience in such a beautiful venue. It truly reminded me of a more intimate Fox Theatre.
