Everyone from the city that we worked with in the planning and logistics of how to marry our event to the facility was wonderful to work with and their experience helped us feel confident before, during, and after the convention. Seriously, we could not have been happier. Our event had approximately 8000 attendees in the two days we held it. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the temperature in the main event hall and the side meeting rooms perfect. The parking worked well too with plenty of overflow lots to handle everything and everyone even during our busiest times.

According to the Denton Halloween website, "For the entire month of October, wander through the free haunted maze and uncover the secrets of the mad scientist. This interactive experience, built by a local artist, is full of surprises." The maze was located on the lawn between City Hall and the Denton Civic Center. It doesn't have a specific Yelp page, so I'm posting it on here. A signed waiver was required before entering the premises. We visited on a weekday (October 2025) and didn't have to wait long in line. It was a short, fun experience (not that scary) that even kids would enjoy. There were 2 porta potties on site. However, they stank!

Ample parking even with potholes to deal with. I think the owners of the rental units are responsible for paving the property. Some serious repaving is desperately needed. There are many other wonderful units located within this particular area. Cigars, wines, Chinese food, and other wonderful spots! Well worth making a visit! However, this review is about this venue. I'll be back to visit the other spots because of their uniqueness! The decorations were wonderful! I think they were provided by the persons that booked the unit. They also had servers for food. However, I think that too was booked via the people that rented the venue. The napkins, which were cloth, were dirty and limp. Ugh! Those need to be replaced. Those were quite objectionably dirty! Same with the white table cloths. (Fake)flower arrangements were nice. They matched the decor for this setting. Chairs need serious updating/replacement or a good scrubbing. Bathrooms were clean and the toilets flushed. Lack of toilet paper was limited. As was hot water and soap. I was a guest. Would I rent here? Yes I would, if the price was right. Luis and his staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their support throughout the planning process and on the day of the event made all the difference -- the food was amazing. We felt completely taken care of. The venue is absolutely stunning -- modern, clean, and flexible enough to accommodate both the ceremony and reception in one beautiful space. Our guests were blown away by the ambiance and flow of the evening. A huge thank you to DJ Larry Perez, who brought incredible energy to the party! His music had everyone dancing all night, and the surprise appearance from his robot and big head crew was a total crowd favorite. It made the night feel extra special and fun! My daughter had the time of her life, and we are still getting compliments from friends and family weeks later. I had ordered a vodka cranberry and he picked something else out for me in the beginning that I didn't like the taste. I'm not a big drinker so I don't have a signature drink. Finally, when there's cake arrived, I really wanted coffee but they didn't offer it. Instead I walked up to get champagne. It said $6 so I went to my husband to get some cash. He kind of complained a little and said that he had already given the man $20. I'm not used to my husband complaining and being a penny pincher so I was a little caught off guard. I order the one glass of Champagne and the guy handed me back $12 instead of $14 for the change. I noticed it right away, but had already planned on giving him a $2 tip so I just moved on. When I told my husband what happened he said the guy did it to him too. I think that because we were in a happy setting we were both hesitant to cause a scene. I spoke with the bride a few days later and she informed me that they weren't allowed to have their own bartender. Knotting Hill needs to fix this. That man is so wrong for skimming off of the guests all night. I've removed a star because of this. Sorry, not sorry.

Service - I've been to the ICC twice for Tech Conferences, once for Ticketstock, and once for a Lego convention. For the tech conferences, the staff were nice. There are 4 floors which allow multiple conferences to be held at one time. There's free Wi-Fi at a decent speed, and the ballrooms are big enough to easily accommodate up to 1000 people. Tech and Business conferences are held on the 3rd and 4th floors, where the rooms are modular and can be set up to showcase goods. The first floor is a big, open space. Both my nonbusiness conferences (Ticketstock and Lego Convention) were held in this space. There is an adjacent covered parking garage, and the bathrooms were super clean. The speakers delivered a powerful message to the audience and hearing the testimonies of lives saved through the mid cities women's clinic were beautiful. The sound is great though. The pricey seats actually give more seat, have more space. The entire building is beauty, grand, and old looking in a good way. It's easy it enter and get a playbill. Important note, they don't play about their show times. They start at the exact time and if you are not there, you have to wait outside of the theater for 7-9 minutes which is about two songs. Parking is free!!! I will continue to come here for shows!
