A nothing-overly-special-but-certainly-does-the-trick sports bar in a nice location. It's in the middle of several apartment complexes, making it an absolutely perfect place to grab a bite or a drink if you live near. Alternatively, if you do not live near, there's a nice park for strolling nearby as well as a doggie day care. So if you want to grab a post stroll drink and/or drown your tears in beer after saying bye to Fido... As far as food: thumbs up on the chicken tenders. Thumbs sidewaysish on their ribs. Don't get me wrong I like spicy food, but I'm not sure I want my ribs to be (and if they are, is falling off the bone too much to expect?). Standard beer list, decent amount of options, but nothing tantalizing. I'd have no problem coming here, but I'm not trampling anyone to make it back anytime soon either. read more

I went here once with my boyfriend for a quick beer, I went to the bathroom and told the bartender that he had been drinking and if he tried to order any shots with her to not sell them to him (as someone who works in service industry I was trying to look out for her). I come back from the bathroom and she had served him not one, but three shots of a super high proof tequila. Needless to say I was not very happy. I understand that it's not the bartenders responsibility to babysit guests, however when another one warns you that someone has already had enough to drink (especially the one who is paying), you would think they would listen. Fairly New spot that opened last month. Same owners as the Mucky Duck, Ringo's Pub, Scruffy Duffy and Zen Austin Ranch. Its a nice little place. Smaller than its sister bars. Food is what you would expect for a bar. Their fish tacos are pretty darn tasty though. Drinks are reasonably priced. For only being open a few weeks, the staff is on point with regards to service. They seem to have a great team here. Even the manager goes around and helps out, be it bussing tables, getting drinks, etc. Bartenders are great at acknowledging you even when they are busy. Good location for a bar. The beers they have is pretty standard for the high end market. However, it was a good crowd of people there. And along with that, it is right next to a park and has a beautiful patio. It is place that is definitely worth checking out. P.S. I came here for one of my football Sunday watch gatherings. The parking concerned me since the game is 3 hours and the parking limit was 2 hours. The bar was open to the outside which was ideal since the day was warm. The screens were not too big though so watching the games was a big of a challenge. The food was good and the prices were decent. The waitress was friendly and social. I would visit here again probably more of a summer spot than football season. We were promptly told that they were not accepting Groupons during the Vitruvian Lights... mind you, this was at 1 PM. Then a huge group came in who did not notify the bar in advance, and all service stopped with our group. Patio tables in shambles and dirty, owner / manager didn't even know what kind of wine they sold, but it turned out to only be the bad kind. Don't waste your money at this place. The wait staff would rather hang out at the end of the bar by the kitchen and chat it up with each other than take care of customers. We are at the other end of the bar; no wait staff is coming by to check on us. We have to flag someone down to get a beer or water filled. The place was far from being overwhelmed in business so there is no excuse, in fact, business was pretty light. Like I said, they would rather chat up with each other than take care of business. Food. Food sucked. Really. First ordered wings, basically came out to be dry bird. Then ordered up the nachos. How can you foul up nachos. According to them, it took 16 minutes to make nachos but it was a lot longer than that. I don't think the bartender put the order in timely - like when he got it. Once the nachos finally got there, they were terrible. Barely warm, sparse cheese, a little "dab" of meat, a scoop of sour cream in the center of the plate together with jalapenos and some guacamole. Food sucked. Music. Background. Okay, all about having a little background tunes. No doubt. But look, I didn't come to your place to listen to your music. Way too loud, drowning out conversation. I mean loud loud. Turns out, it was a waitress playing her playlist through the restaurant's sound system. Turn your s___ down. Thanks. At the end, they gave us a free whatever card. A little weird! It looks like a sports bar with nice TV's everywhere and good draft beer selections. I went in on a Saturday afternoon to catch a game and grab a burger. Instead of hearing any of the games, they played "boy band" pop music which the waitress said was coming from a satellite station and even admitted, "it was pretty bad." After waiting my waitress to get through to the next level of whatever video game she was playing on her cell phone to order, I selected the burger with Mac n Cheese and bacon. Can't go wrong with that and it was pretty good. And the seasonal and local Rahr draft beer was a good combination with that - at least until I got the bill and realized that was a $7 beer. Dang! I just couldn't stand the teenage bee-bop music or the fly dive bombing my burger anymore so I made my leave quickly. I think it was a good concept and is in a unique location. What an awful experience. Asked for a menu; waitress told us they didn't have one, that they were changing menus. I thought that was the liquor menu. Found a good menu on another table and ordered 2 appetizers. An hour later, no food. Waitress disappeared. Another waitress told us the food was coming. Never happened. Went to find our waitress who told us the kitchen was closing down to in house food and only take out orders. She offered us a refund. We just wanted good. Manager came over and chastised us for being rude to his server and offered us a round of drinks. 29 more minutes- no food and we had movie tickets. This is by far my favorite bar in Addison. Zeke, the manager, and his staff are so friendly and very eager to serve and please the customer. They call you by name and remember what you drink.
