Grilled Idaho Trout with green beans and smashed potatoes , limoncello

The service was great. The food was alright, i liked the smashed potatoes the best. The house wine has a light alcohol content. I ordered the limoncello draft cocktail and idk why i didn't think there was beer but it's def beer in there lol the ambiance was really chill. The food itself was meh, not very seasoned at all.

The food was really good, the salad I had was so delicious. It was a pretty nice crowd in there, during the time, I was there.

This restaurant was close to my favorite cookie spot, lol. The first time I noticed it, it was in a bustling shopping/restaurant area, with a busy parking lot that may require you to drive around to find a spot. There's seating outside and inside. We got a booth, not busy at the time we walked in. The food was delicious, but I didn't get many pictures because I was in a rush. Our server was very friendly, and the lemonade was delicious The Cuban sandwich was so good and flavorful

I highly recommend anyone try this place out at least once! It was amazing! Everything I ate had me saying "wow" after the first bite! Rich flavors in an upper casual dine-in restaurant! Glad I stumbled upon this place!

I had a superb experience here! Come happy hour- they have discounted appetizers and drinks and everything we had was pretty good- by the time we finished I had a lot of leftover food so best to order less and if you're still hungry order some more. The deviled eggs are really good hot- with candied bacon, and fried. The hush puppies were good too- crispy outside and soft inside. Chips and queso are solid. The fried chicken nuggets weren't my favorite but lots of meat to share. My drink was the star of the show- love the cucumber mint martini. Our server was so, so sweet. And the make things even more amazing she told the manager it was our first time and we got some complimentary chips to share! so, so yummy! 5 stars!

This review is specific to the Addison location only, as we've had consistently positive experiences at other Lazy Dog locations. We stopped in for a quick late lunch before a movie, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing from start to finish. There was no greeting at the reception, and service at the table was extremely slow. The food was just okay, nothing memorable. What stood out the most--unfortunately--was the checkout process, which was unusually inefficient and frustrating.

Finally tried out this restaurant and the food was really good. The manager even stopped at our table and told us the story of how the restaurant came about. I really loved the fries and the complimentary chips they give you.

Lunch special grilled cheese and soup
    Amy W.

We are always on the hunt for a good lunch deal. I much prefer to load up on a delicious cheap lunch and coast through dinner with maybe a cracker and a dream (and maybe a cookie and some popcorn!). I had heard about the $11 TV dinners they offer to-go here (and yes, I still want to try those), but today we were all about the lunch deal. Hubby went classic with the tomato soup and grilled cheese and bacon sandwich. Meanwhile, I threw the lunch deal out the window like a rebellious raccoon and ordered the Thai salad with a peanutty dressing. If you read my reviews regularly, you know this is wildly off-script for me. The menu claims this salad is 440 calories, but I have questions. Maybe if you only sniff it? That said, I got in my veggies and the salad was actually REALLY good...spoken from a gal who thinks salad is usually just a sad apology for not ordering fries. When I inevitably start my diet for the twelfth time this year, this salad will absolutely be in the regular rotation. And let's talk about service shall we? Phillip was a charmer and when he found out it was our first time to LD, he brought us an order of parmesan garlic potato chips, Thanks Phillp!

Had a fantastic time at Lazy Dog today with Ari, our helpful and attentive waitress. She rocked it! Make sure you order this cucumber limeade and Brussels sprouts!

Five star from the time we walked in. Our server , Edna. Spot on. Very professional. Forgive me if I'm spelling your name wrong. This was our first time here and the assistant manager greeted us with their house chips with dip. It was very phenomenal. The manager was extremely nice and sweet. Very welcoming. Will be back!

Came on for dinner and I must say everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. We were seated right away. There were so many good options it was hard to pick just one. The food was all delicious and generous portions. Everyone had something different so we all got to try everything and it was all good. The manager even came by to see how everything was. Definitely have come back and try some more food. I like there are locations in California so we can go there.

Me: Can I get the "Up Lazy Dog?" Waiter: What's up lazy dog? Me: Nothin much just living life like a lazy dog. Some might even call me the chillest dog of them all. How bout you big dog? How's life been? Break it down for me Waiter: *starts breaking it down* Where to begin... Mayhaps I shall talk about the food. Got the PB&J burger. Sounds funky, eh? I thought the same, but when I tried it, I remember saying out loud "Well I'll be a monkey's uncle this mutant PB&J sandwich is quite wonderful". The candied bacon in it is so yum sauce and the jelly gives it a fruity flavor. Came here with my friend Hwasung, he got the bison burger. The lighting in the bathroom is also really good, I would've taken my shirt off to flex but I couldn't wait to get back to work on that fruity burger. Yum. I will be back to chill.

First up, the pirogies--holy moly, these little pockets of joy were just unreal. Perfectly soft, stuffed to the brim, and fried up just right. I'm pretty sure if my tasted these, she'd give a polite nod and say, "Not bad, eh?" Then came the pot roast poutine, and let me tell ya--this isn't just food, it's a life experience. You've got those crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds (as they should be, eh!), and gravy so rich it could probably pay rent in Toronto. And then--BAM--tender pot roast on top. I nearly stood up and sang "O Canada," no joke. Now the Canadian Eggs Benedict? Ohhh, beauty. The peameal bacon was thick, juicy, and cooked just right, sittin' pretty under those poached eggs with hollandaise sauce that was smoother than a fresh sheet of ice. Absolute perfection, eh. And don't even get me started on the everyday breakfast. Classic, hearty, and no funny business--just how we like it. Eggs done right, toast that actually tastes like toast (imagine that!), and portions big enough to fuel ya through a full day of shovelin' snow... or, you know, strolling around Dallas. All in all, Maple Leaf Diner absolutely crushed it. Let me tell ya, the service was so fast and smooth, I thought I was dreaming eh. Great food, friendly vibes, and enough Canadian charm to make ya wanna say "sorry" when someone else bumps into you. 10/10, would recommend--now pass the syrup, eh?

The bar seating issue is enough to make me think about whether I want to go there again. Our server, Madison, was great. She was helpful, friendly, communicated well, and let us set the pace. Started with cocktails, which was an interesting experience, because the bar had some difficulties and so each of four drinks was brought out one at a time with a few minutes in between each. Not a huge deal but weird. Enjoyed a couple of wedge salads, which were nice. For entrées, one couple shared the flat iron steak, which they both enjoyed. This place is truly something special, from the gracious hospitality to the incredible menu. The menu delivers elevated Southern comfort food that somehow manages to feel both nostalgic and fresh at the same time. I've worked my way through almost the entire menu over multiple visits, and I can honestly say that everything is incredible. Every time I take someone new there, I tell them that there hasn't been one dish that I've ever thought "meh" about. Every dish is so flavorful and outstanding. That said, I absolutely have my go-to order: the cornbread (a must), the southern greens, and the fried chicken. The cornbread is almost like a melt in your mouth dessert, that I happily start every visit with. The greens are packed with rich, savory flavor, and I'm not kidding when I say that every time I have them, I literally dream about them for weeks after. And the duck fat fried chicken? Crispy, juicy, and hands-down some of the best I've ever had. Beyond the food, the whole experience just feels thoughtful, from the quality of ingredients to the execution of every dish. You can tell there's real intention behind everything coming out of the kitchen. If you're anywhere near Farmers Branch, this spot is worth going out of your way for. And if it's your first visit--trust me, get the cornbread, southern greens, and fried chicken. You'll be dreaming about it later.
