    Filet kabobs with veggies
    Melanie K.

Visiting from out of town with family. Saw the reviews on Yelp and wanted to try. I had the filet Kabobs with rice, hummus and sauce either grilled veggies. Hubby had the meatloaf which he devoured. Brother in law had the chicken fried steak and mother in law had the fish and chips. The women had leftovers the men did not. Our waitress answered all our questions. Soccer was playing on the big screens so the men were happy. Waitress was even nice to take a picture of us.

I had the bacon old fashion, and it was interesting. I had the peach jalapeño margarita and it was great! For dinner I had the Bison meatloaf and it was perfect. The fries are great, just a little too much seasoning. The staff was amazing as well. Loved the atmosphere!

I was invited for lunch here by a friend. I had the burger and ribs and they were fantastic. Only had one issue with my side of broccoli being raw but I was able to get the watermelon instead. My food and drinks were wonderful and my waitress told me about the happy hour specials so I will definitely return for that.

This was a burger with lettuce wrap nothing to show in the photo cause I ate it all. It was delicious wish

I got just what I wanted and just what I needed. I was craving some red meat and wanted a juicy burger, but I needed to be cognizant of my carb count so I'm a menu. They offer a lettuce wrapped for the burgers instead of bread. It was perfect for me. It came juicy and tasty.

The bao buns are the to die for and if you come in make sure to ask for Stan, he took very good care of us and made sure we were happy the music is also good with nice lighting.

The service was great. The food was alright, i liked the smashed potatoes the best. The house wine has a light alcohol content. I ordered the limoncello draft cocktail and idk why i didn't think there was beer but it's def beer in there lol the ambiance was really chill. The food itself was meh, not very seasoned at all, but I'd have to say that the deviled eggs were my favorite !

The food was really good, the salad I had was so delicious. It was a pretty nice crowd in there, during the time, I was there.

This restaurant was close to my favorite cookie spot, lol. The first time I noticed it, it was in a bustling shopping/restaurant area, with a busy parking lot that may require you to drive around to find a spot. There's seating outside and inside. We got a booth, not busy at the time we walked in. The food was delicious, but I didn't get many pictures because I was in a rush. Our server was very friendly, and the lemonade was delicious The Cuban sandwich was so good and flavorful

I had a superb experience here! Come happy hour- they have discounted appetizers and drinks and everything we had was pretty good- by the time we finished I had a lot of leftover food so best to order less and if you're still hungry order some more. The deviled eggs are really good hot- with candied bacon, and fried. The hush puppies were good too- crispy outside and soft inside. Chips and queso are solid. The fried chicken nuggets weren't my favorite but lots of meat to share. My drink was the star of the show- love the cucumber mint martini. Our server was so, so sweet. And the make things even more amazing she told the manager it was our first time and we got some complimentary chips to share! so, so yummy! 5 stars!

This review is specific to the Addison location only, as we've had consistently positive experiences at other Lazy Dog locations. We stopped in for a quick late lunch before a movie, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing from start to finish. There was no greeting at the reception, and service at the table was extremely slow. The food was just okay, nothing memorable. What stood out the most--unfortunately--was the checkout process, which was unusually inefficient and frustrating.

I highly recommend anyone try this place out at least once! It was amazing! Everything I ate had me saying "wow" after the first bite! Rich flavors in an upper casual dine-in restaurant! Glad I stumbled upon this place!

Lunch special grilled cheese and soup
    Amy W.

We are always on the hunt for a good lunch deal. I much prefer to load up on a delicious cheap lunch and coast through dinner with maybe a cracker and a dream (and maybe a cookie and some popcorn!). I had heard about the $11 TV dinners they offer to-go here (and yes, I still want to try those), but today we were all about the lunch deal. Hubby went classic with the tomato soup and grilled cheese and bacon sandwich. Meanwhile, I threw the lunch deal out the window like a rebellious raccoon and ordered the Thai salad with a peanutty dressing. If you read my reviews regularly, you know this is wildly off-script for me. The menu claims this salad is 440 calories, but I have questions. Maybe if you only sniff it? That said, I got in my veggies and the salad was actually REALLY good...spoken from a gal who thinks salad is usually just a sad apology for not ordering fries. When I inevitably start my diet for the twelfth time this year, this salad will absolutely be in the regular rotation. And let's talk about service shall we? Phillip was a charmer and when he found out it was our first time to LD, he brought us an order of parmesan garlic potato chips, Thanks Phillp!

Next to the Tollway on Forest, there's an immense parking lot next to the restaurant, so we parked with ease. Their menu is digital which is fascinating, but I still had a heckuva time choosing. The beef is grass fed. There is Bison, Lamb, Impossible Patties and signature burgers like the Liberty Burger, The Great Smash (with Vidalia onions), South of the Burger, The Libertine (turkey), the Napa, Wild West and many more. They also have Burger Bowls and sandwiches and salads. There's Skinny Fries ($2.75) and Onion Rings ($7.50) and Sweet Potato Fries ($3.25). I ordered the Liberty Burger ($9) with LTOP and xtra Gorgonzola ($1.50) and xtra Bacon ($1.50) with giant beautiful Onion Rings from an engaged and smiling server. My husband ordered a wild burger called the Chillerno ($9) topped with Queso Blanco, a Fire-Roasted Poblano Pepper, and Chipotle BBQ sauce on a toasted brioche bun. He also ordered the Skinny Fries - a cupful of super thin cut fries. I apologize for the photos. We were starving and my husband chose to tear into his burger when I got up to get more napkins, but I tried! Everything was very good. The onion rings were fabulous! The batter was terrific. My burger was cooked more than medium. Honestly, it's not often that I get one that's pink unless it's high end. But it was seasoned well and dressed with enthusiasm. My husband's poblano pepper was huge, but he loves peppers and so, loved his burger. We also shared a strawberry shake with whipped cream and a cherry. ($5.50) Liberty is a comfy place with a long banquette and then mostly tables and chairs. We had a good time there. I guess they have a wastage reason for not having napkins at the table for some of the messiest food on the planet, but we survived. We would love to go back.

There was plenty of seating at the restaurant with long tables, sit down tables, and outdoor seating. After choosing our table we waited 15 minutes before our waitresses showed up. They were very busy with the lunch rush so it took awhile between everything. It even took awhile to get our waters. One waitress was in training and learning from the other. The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.
