Every time I come in to get my extensions removed she tries to rip the extensions off with cuticle nippers after only soaking for 2 minutes. I am an anxious person so I have a hard time speaking up, but these past two times I spoke up multiple times. The last time I went she asked me to pay for the service before it was even finished (she just started). While trying to rip my pinky nail off kept telling me "oh yeah I know, I know" when I asked her a couple more times to soak them off please. Finally I said "on the next nails, can we soak them more before removing, I have very thin nails", she said "oh you wanted soak off?". She wasn't even listening to me. She ripped layers of my pinky nail off and then filed all of my nail plates until the nail was very thin. I will never be coming here again because she asked me to pay before the service was even completed, and she damaged my nails to the point where I cannot get extensions for the next 6 months.

I asked about the scrubbing and she laughed and said she forgot, after denying it initially. So she proceeded to do it after the service when my nails were painted. She then asked me to Venmo her a tip. I tipped her out of courtesy, but will never return. I ended up doing my own pedicure when I got home. Waste of money! I much prefer Susan's Nails in Redwood City. They never disappoint, lower cost, and the kindest service. I would much rather drive to them than have an unsatisfied experience for convenience.

She analayzed the situation with my nails and explained to me step by step of what she was going to do. She's also extremely meticulous & gentle which is super important for me because I have sensitive fingers and when it comes to filing, I tense up sometimes. Also, I'm someone who's really indecisive, and her HUGE selection of different colours and finishes and powders and polished and EVERYTHING, made it hard for me to choose but she was super patient with me and even helped with recommendations according to what I like. The price was the most I've ever paid, but I'm not even mad because I can tell she has taken the time to hone her craft and really be considerate of what her clients are requesting. And to me, that's really hard to find.

They have an entire wall of nail colors. I love getting pedicures and gel manis here. They were able to take me as a walk in- I am so grateful because I hated my last mani from another place. This place uses sanitized tools, new nail files and new buffer for each client. I loved how meticulous my nail tech was. She was very thorough with removing my old gel and cleaned up my cuticles SO well. Overall, it took a little over an hour. I absolutely love the color.

I chose to add the gua sha service to my treatment and it was a very relaxing session - I ended up dozing off without even realizing it. The spa itself is also very cozy. The facial room was spacious and dimly lit to put you into a comfortable mood, and you relax into your session with the sound of water trickling in the background. I noticed that my entire session was only about 45 minutes instead of the 60 minutes that I booked for. But perhaps that is the norm here and the 60 minutes budgets in prep and wrap-up time?
