This has been my go-to place for burgers for over 6 months now. No place has made a burger so good that it received my business so many times. I typically got take out and when I did it was always the Jucy Lucy Burger with (Cheesy) Garlic Bread both great choices if you go. It seems recently that the owners had a falling out and parted ways with another Addys BBQ opening just down the street with a wider selection of miscellaneous cuisine! We'll have to see if this smaller Addys can survive as the service remains satisfactory while the food has suffered slightly in quality and quantity (they're always out of Mango Lassie) these past few times which is why this business gets a 4/5. read more

I ordered a spicy chicken burger and it was Chicken tenders inside a very cheap bun, with no sauce no onions nothing, it was very dry, they should just change their menu to say chicken tenders with bun. A true gem of a spot for halal American style food. If you eat only halal, this is a MUST TRY. I've tried a few different flavors of wings; the atomic and BBQ are definitely my fave, the Cajun is good as well, and the spicy wings are very spicy but the flavor is alright. The chicken mishkaki dish was an 8/10 in my opinion, I think the beef would be better but they did not have any when I went. This brings me to the point that often they tell you they do not have something that is on the menu, which can be annoying at times. The hell burger is a must try for spice lovers like myself, and it was not nearly as spicy as advertised (at least when I got it). Cajun chicken sandwich is good as well, you assemble it yourself with 3-4 pieces of Cajun chicken. The Mac & cheese is AMAZING x1000 A MUST MUST MUST TRY (great for kids too). read more

Food was...... mediocre. Waiter was using profanity where we could hear it. When brought to their attention no one from management came out to speak or apologize to us. Extremely disrespectful, we were there as a family and it kind of ruined the experience for us. The burgers are Not GOOD. We drove all the way from brooklyn to come here and we are disappointed. We went to Addys with some expectations of a decent Halal meal, but sad to say we were disappointed. This was our 2nd time visiting them. We wanted to give them another chance. The first time we were there it was so cold we had to keep our winter coats on the entire meal. The food was at most adequate and the service was horrendous. The young man who sat us seemed to be in charge of everything. He took our order with an IPad and was never back at our table again. Our family enjoys steak and we don't mind paying for it, but this was definitely not worth the prices they were charging. The 2nd time we went was last Saturday for my birthday and they let us down again. The server never came over to the table to check if our food was okay, or if we needed anything. At one point my son thought we had to go get our drinks ourselves. I'm a food and beverage manager at a luxury hotel and it upsets me when a new Halal restaurant opens up and they take the guests for granted. We take pride in being Muslims and eat only Halal food, so do the right thing. Give us what we deserve, good food and good service. ALLAH knows you have enough staff. Went to this place about 1 month ago, I had high hopes but was very disappointed. There's a young kid working the front desk who has no clue how to work in a restaurant establishment. The service was absolutely horrible, I placed an order for a simple chicken over rice with fries & a mango lassi, waited about 1 hour just to get my food. Now at this point I'm hoping that the wait will actually pay off when I taste the food but I was wrong. The fries were soggy, and the rice was not good at all. We were driving by to go to BBQ nite and saw this restaurant and decided to dine. We seated by huge family with at least 7 kids running around screaming as if it was a park. We ordered food from this restaurant through Uber eats and the food was horrible. I haven't had food this bad from a restaurant in years. The mango habanero wings were drenched in thick masala sauce that tasted terrible. The Amarillo wings had no mushrooms in them but tasted okay. The lamb chops were dry and the vegetables that came with it were completely raw and undercooked. The steak was okay but didn't come any sides like the restaurant had promised. Ordered chicken over rice, beef over rice and chicken mishkaki. All of the dishes were swimming in oil.. omg.. everything was sooo greasy! The rice was inedible due to the oil dripping down.. Waited 30 mins for the food and when I got home, realized they didn't give any of the salad that is supposed to come with the dishes. Super disappointed because I heard good things. I was on my way home from JFK airport on a Sunday night and this was the only place I could find open. The staff was super friendly and the food was fantastic , especially the Mac and cheese. We had a delicious chicken fajita platter that was seasoned and tasted delicious. We also had the special lamb shank served with fresh vegetables and jasmine rice as well as a great sauce.
