What a gem in Cambria Heights! I've never been to any of the Brooklyn Wing Houses, but my friend had recommended the place if I was ever in the area, and I wasn't disappointed! What really got me was their lunch special for $9.99+ that runs every day until 5pm that includes: - 5 wings of your choice - fries of your choice (waffle, sweet potato, regular cut, etc...) - drink of your choice They have a ridiculous amount of flavors, but I ended up going with the Garlic Lemon Pepper with waffle fries and their homemade Passionfruit Lemonade. All I can say is wow, wow, wow! They really seasoned the wings well, the fries were large, and the passionfruit lemonade... even writing this now I'm drooling about it. That drink is so freaking good, it's making me want to go back asap. The service was good and quick, you will have to speak up because there is a plexi-glass. When I went for the lunch special, it was pretty packed inside with students (can you blame them??), but you can sit inside if you're a solo eater -- they just have bar seating along the windows, no tables to actually eat with a group at. The name of this business is misleading. They serve more than wings. The menu has pasta dishes, jerk dishes, a variety of sandwiches, salmon, and shrimp dishes. This is black owned business and I believe the owners are from the Caribbean. This is not a sit down restaurant. This is grab and go spot. I am creature of habit so I always get the Sweet chili rum glazed wings with sweet potato fries and a Dope burger. The Dope burger has a spicy sauce with melted cheese on a soft roll that is toasted on the inside. I always promise to try something different but I always return to these selections. By the way, this location is in Queens. When calling make sure you are calling the right location. I have made a mistake of calling the Brooklyn location and then showing up at the Queens location for pick up only to find that my order is not there. They have corrected this by answering the phone and identifying the Queens location in their greeting. read more

Well well well... I have finally gotten to try the infamous BWH! Shopping with my teen a block away like a true foodie I saw the sigh thru a bunch of trees. It was lunchtime so perfect time to head over and investigate. I had no idea it was in the area and walked right in. It wasn't busy but ppl picking up to go orders and delivery workers were coming in and out. The space is clean and spacious with stools to sit on all along the window with mini high top tables and on the left side they have a gender neutral bathroom and chalk walls were you can tag your name. The young woman taking my order was quick and efficient and I saw maybe like 4/5 ppl back there working hard making it happen. I tried the Dusse infused wings 4/5 a little sweet kind of like bbq sauce but less tang. The garlic parm wings they gotta work on that. I didn't like the paste like it should have been a dry rub or maybe I should have said fry the wings hard idk 1/5 The mango and papaya lemonade was BUSSIN 5/5 And now for the mac n cheese balls. I've gotten the shrimp and waffles multiple times. The fried shrimp by itself is 5/5. It was the perfect balance of coating so you taste the shrimp perfectly. The waffle on the other hand is consistently dry. The syrup is amazing and the lemonade is great as well. read more

Huge flat screen with the vibes playing. Mainly hip-hop/trap. Food: DELICIOUS. I ordered the sweet chili rum wings and my gosh, they were so good. I got the 9piece and it cost $14.13. I didn't want the meal, just wing me please. It took roughly 15 minutes to prepare. They accept cards/cash. Parking: there is parking outside, so no worries on having to double park. It is on the corner, fyi. This place was so good i tried their other store on Jericho Turnpike in LI and was not disappointed. The LI location serves alcohol so you may want to make the drive. The filling was actually filled with oxtail meat & possessed the flavor. The pasta was nice & creamy & had a lil kick to it which I loved! Shrimp was also well cooked I chose the sweet chili rum glaze flavor & it was amazing went so well w/ the shrimp. The only thing I didn't really care for were the wings. I ordered the mango critic habanero flavor. It had a lil kick & hint of sweetness from the mango best of both worlds right? But it didn't give what it was supposed to be giving! We were both craving wings so what better way to satisfy that craving than with Brooklyn Wing House. I placed my order for pick up about 45 mins in advance. I went right after work and when I went in I was greeted by Janae. What a sweetheart. I knew that she was same person who took my order over the phone. I ordered the 24 piece wing, half honey garlic and half chipotle BBQ. I also ordered four oxtail empanadas. My order was neatly packed and separated in the inno-box cartons. I was also asked my choice of sauce to go with the wings. I ended up with blue cheese and ranch. My order included wet napkins which I thought was a nice touch. The wings were tasty. However I wish that they weren't wet. I love my wings to be fried or baked hard. It would be nice if I tasted more of the flavors. I tossed the wings in the oven to reheat them and they came out perfectly. Just the way we like them. Whomever said that they didn't like the oxtail empanada can't be telling the truth. When I tell you it's the bomb.com I mean it. The oxtail was cooked to perfection. The meat was succulent and seasoned well. I'm salivating as I type this review. This place is excellent. I'm unsure as to what's up with some of these reviews I've seen. But every single time I've ordered I've been very satisfied. The chicken and waffle is my go to. The waffles are amazing. Soft and fluffy and delicious. The fried Chicken is excellent. Seasoned very well. The wings! The wings are incredible. Fresh n perfectly spiced. The sweet chili rum glaze is a must have. Oxtail empanadas are incredible. Expensive but worth it. Just all around a fantastic experience. Btw the delivery is fast. It was too peppery. 10/10 The wings are cooked perfectly. The wing flavors are awesome. So far I've only tried tamarind, honey lemon pepper, sweet chili rum, garlic Parmesan, and honey garlic. All fantastic but honey lemon pepper is my faveeeee The catfish sandwich is delicious. I hate catfish. But on the sandwich it's awesome. And the collard greens have a great flavor. What can I say about Brooklyn Wing House? I really like their dood ,on the verge of lovin it. I've had many flavors of their wings, my fav being between the Pineapple Teriyaki and Sweet Chilli Rum Glazed. The pineapple bits in the teriyaki is a stamp to anyone's palette who doubts pineapple is in it. The sweet potato fries are soooo good. They've even got my wife hooked on them. The shrimp is amazing too. Plus I get to have my favorite sauces on them. I do prefer the fried over the grilled shrimp, It's a clear cut winner when compared side by side. In keeping it healthy the steam vegetables are FANTASTIC. I phucking love the crunch from the cabbage. I've experienced it being alittle oily on only one occasion , but it is something wonderful when paired with the shrimp OR the calamari. Brooklyn Wing House has the most amazing delicious perfect calamari. I have to double order only when I get it. It comes with a mild chipotle dipping sauce that makes it heavenly. To top of off, they do Apple pay. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the oily veggies that one time. Other than that I'm so happy they in the neighborhood. read more

I ordered lemon pepper: barely any lemon pepper on the wings. My son ordered the two of us dinner from here on a suggestion from a friend. He Called in our order and for delivery they said 45 minutes. Not bad since we don't live close. Over an hour later we got our food, delivered to us by a guy on a bicycle and our food was cold. My son had wings and liked them and I had the Brooklyn Pasta with lobster and crab. This was a very good dish. There wasn't much pasta which was disappointing but there was a ton of lobster and REAL crab. The star of the show was the Mac and cheese balls. Delicious!! I tried this place twice and both times failed me. I'm so sad and I love wings. My first experience I ordered on Uber eats and the preparation description differed from what I picked up. When you order on the Uber eats app they say they will put the shrimp sauce on the side instead on top and that's exactly how I wanted it in case I didn't like it. I arrive at the store and check my order before I leave and ask them to fix it. I was told that I would need to re-purchase the shrimp plain and there's nothing they can do. Things almost went left before it was agreed to fix the order correctly. My second experience I just ordered 18 wings with 3 different flavors and fries. They called me quickly to let me know my order is ready. Great, I thought. When I arrive home now the wings did not have lemon pepper on them, they just had parsley sprinkled on and all 3 fries were hard like they were either old or overcooked smh. I stood in this place from 8:55pm until 9:58pm and NEVER RECEIVED FOOD. At 9:45 I asked for a refund and was told "it's coming." I continued to wait and then someone came out, asked for the last four digits of my number then said "okay." I had to ask if it was just refunded because at this point I'm under the impression the food was coming, since I was told to wait additional time after already waiting almost an hour and now longer than an hour. Tried this new establishment this past weekend. We ordered the jerk corn, oxtail empanada, 3 types of wings(honey garlic, dusse, mango ciroc habanero), Mac and cheese balls and collard greens. Pros: I like that there's a different kind of restaurant in a neighborhood with mostly fast food and West Indian cuisine. The Mac and cheese balls were good. The cheese was mild and the consistency was good inside. Cons: I couldn't distinguish between the honey garlic and the dusse wings. the cost compared to the portions isn't great. $7 for one empanada? Granted it was oxtail but the oxtail lacked seasoning. The collard greens didn't have much flavoring either, it just tasted like leaves (which I didn't mind actually). To kind of think of it much of the food lacked some form of seasoning. My mom was highly disappointed with the "jerk" corn since it was more grilled corn with jerk sauce poured on top. Overall, I would recommend supporting the place a because it adds variety to the neighborhood which is lacking but I would come back if things change. Every time I'm in Brooklyn I would find a way to make a stop here for food. When I found out they were opening a location in Queens I was filled with enthusiasm. Everything on the menu is amazing! This is not a restaurant where you end up trying one thing and then another and then you're like I'll stick to that because it's safe or my favorite. Another great thing is they stay open late. I keep hearing about this Brooklyn wing house spot for a couple of people also seen a could yelpers check in here. So I decided that I'd try it out since my family was hungry. First thing I noticed was everyone waiting for there food, so I guessed it's must be finger licking good. So I ordered some garlic Parmesan wings and garlic lemon pepper wings. The ladies that took my order was very pleasant and nice and that's made me relaxed and glad I choose to come here. Furthermore it's just the wait to get your food thats a killer, but it's does say "be patient, good food is on the way" and that's fine. The food is cooked fresh as ever so it would be best to grab a ubereats or something of that sort if you don't have the time to wait at the store. There's only street parking and so prepare to walk if you can't find close parking in the front of the store. So we tried this place out for the first time. The wait was incredibly long and it was not because the place was full, it was not. I ended up getting red velvet waffles and white meat chicken. The waffles are super soft, fluffy and yummy. The chicken looked like it was struggling to make it out of the fryer. Dry, greasy and meatless. Idk if it was a leg quarter or what. I have to say it pains me a bit to write this review because I really wanted to like this place and as a result I've given them more chances than I probably should have. I heard good things about this restaurant and when one opened near me I was very excited. I liked the food here but from the day this place opened to now the customer service and food quality has been on a steady decline. You may think I'm exaggerating when I say this but the last 10 times I've ordered from BWH there has been an issue with my order. We would order meals that come with a drink and fries and every single time each order would be missing the drinks. 4 meal orders? 4 drinks missing. I stopped ordering combos as a result. Then over time it turned into entire food items missing from the orders. The straw that broke the camels back was when I ordered 4 orders of 6 piece wings and and Oreo waffle. Each wing order was missing wings and the waffle was dry and hard.
