I drove 1 hr to go have their steak because from where I live there isnt any halal steak around. The food was nice, steak was delicious. I've tried their masala fries which I've never had before was very nice n little spicy. Their lamb steak was to die for. The staff were really nice. How ever I did see the restuarant getting busy and only 1 waiter. We had to change out table which was table #7 bcuz I felt cold around there believe it was coming from the bathroom. Amazing halal spot in Elmont. Food came pretty fast and the service was great. I had mango lassi, mac and cheese, atomic wings, and a chicken sandwich which was extremely spicy. Make sure you ask them if the sandwich will be mild, spicy, or too spicy. They also have nice sitting area and clean restrooms. Yummy yummy in my tummy. Got a burger,mango shake, ribs, garlic wings, fries, and salad. The ribs are not to be missed. There's parking lot in front and didn't have to wait for a table at 1pm. The guys who work there are very polite and welcoming. Definitely going back. I had the Jucy Lucy burger and it did not let me down. My friend said I was in love with my burger. So I ordered the Addys house burger- The patty had a solid sear on it and it was smothered in a mushroom sauce which had an unctuous but velvety consistency. The mushrooms themselves were also pan-seared perfectly. I paired the burger with a side of onion rings which I found refreshingly crispy and well seasoned. The staff seemed very well trained, as they served me with a smile and were willing to go the extra mile to ensure I had a great experience. Some of the other reviews were a bit harsh in regard to the service but I spoke to the management, (who by the way were very approachable and friendly) and they informed me that the establishment has undergone only a soft opening at the moment and that the best is yet to come. Went here march 19.Had lamb with rice extra lamb .it had way too much cumin. Also had Mac & cheese which was Deliscious. This place is okay. What you get is not what you see listed on the menu. I had the juicy Lucy which is supposed to come with an onion ring, but didn't. Was not very flavorful, just tasted like cheese but nothing special. Don't get the fries, they are soggy and have no flavor, we found a hair in the chili fries and yet we were still charged for it... gross. Probably one of the best halal joints in NY and on Long Island. Their wings are awesome and their burgers are great. I tried their beef short ribs, which, in my opinion, need some improvement.. but I see this place as THE SPOT for burgers, wings, and shakes. Much better than other burger joints in the area. Very reasonably priced and the quality is great. As long as they can maintain their quality, and make some neccessary improvements in some items, it will be a very successful establishments. One advice would be to be a bit more organized with managing and seating people. Also, to decrease the wait time so people get theit food faster. When you walk in, sometimes, you'll have to wait a while before some even asks you to be seated or to order. But I understand that its very busy, at times, so those things are expected - but something to pay attention to. Keep it up! I am a definitely a regular! read more

Weird spot. First and foremost I must say I definitely plan to go back despite my complaints! They had IKEA screens in front of the windows and they served glass carafes of nearly room temperature water with plastic cups followed by... I believe, a dish of Tostitos chips and a plastic cup of Tostitos salsa? Or whichever salsa and chips are halal I guess...? The staff was very friendly but the service was not the best. They ran out of beef mishkaki so I had to get the chicken but it was delicious. They had no specialty drinks from the menu, no alcohol because Allah frowns upon it, I believe, so it was just seltzer, soda, or Snapple. I got the "spicy" tenders even though I was discouraged from them. They were good but they were really HOT. I was able to eat them but the burn does not go away quickly. Like, you have to like some significant pain or don't get them. I would forget about the "suicide" burger or wings - they have Carolina reaper sauce. Just kill yourself. Next time I'll try the "atomic" wings - they're supposed to be spicy-sweet but not as hot. My boy cut me some of his porterhouse and that was good too-- tender, juicy, and tasty with a great gravy for the mashed potatoes. It was the most expensive thing on the menu at like $33 or something. The food is good and the portions and prices are good. I wanna try a burger next time or maybe the beef mishkaki I missed out on. I'm giving it 3 stars but if there is any improvement next time I go, I'm changing it to 4! read more

Honestly, it was time someone opened a good halal BBQ restaurant in Elmont. This place hands down won't let you down food wise what's so ever, and their service is out of this world. They do what ever they can to keep a smile on your face. The Jucy Lucy is a must try. The owner Nouman Bhai most humblest person I have ever meet. Unforgettable experience.. I went for an iftar after seeing this place on my way back to Brooklyn from BBQ Night couple of times. I thought it was a decent place with nice and dim decor but the experience wasnt so pleasant. The service was garbage, food was below average ( I had ordered cajun wings, jalapeno peppers, and chicken mishkaki which either had a very bad smell or weird scent) overall I wouldnt recommend this place even if you're starving as the Bbq night a block down is way much better food wise. read more

This place was terrible. Customer service is big 0 To start off, it Took us 40 mins to get seated with reservations (we were 15 mins late to reservation but did notify them ahead of time. So 40 min wait after we arrived.) We had to ask for the menus cus they were not given upon seating. After ordering It took about a hour+ for the food to come out, even our appetizers... Our apps came out 10 mins before our entrees.. so let's say 50 minutes for some apps? The last item they brought out was the mango lassi.... 1hour+ wait for a mango lassi.... which was the first thing I ordered. The food was okay so I can't argue about that.
