This cafe is such a nice spot for meetings, working from home , or simply enjoying a nice cup of authentic Ethiopian roast. Saturday morning errand runs paired with a nice cup of coffee or matcha are my favorite. The decor is very nice and earthy , reminding you of he Ethiopian roots if which the coffee came. Everything is very friendly and helpful as well. On the First Saturday of each month the staff and other members of the community come together to pay homage to Ethiopian traditional of making and serving the coffee. I happen to visit on this day and was pleasantly surprised. There were photographers , ladies dressed in traditional Ethiopian attire and the men were as well I missed the actual ceremony , but they invited back for their next one. I was glad to have witnessed such a beautiful cultural experience. I ordered the unsweetened matcha and added lavender and vanilla flavoring. I was impressed that they offered an unsweetened options as most establishments do not. Its a personal preference. I was appreciative. They have plenty of seating in the cafe area, designed in an eclectic way which was pretty cool. The decor told a story of coffee making and how significant this practice is in Ethiopia. The parking is a little challenging , but is expected for the area. That wouldn't stop me from visiting again, which I plan to do so soon. Adee's is a new Ethiopian coffee shop in Fells Point and it is phenomenal! They did an amazing job with the ambiance and vibe of this place! It is the perfect place to grab a a coffee or sit down to get some work done. I had a caramel latte and it was so delicious. The perfect level of sweetness. I did not get any food but it seems their acai bowl and avocado toast were pretty popular and they looked great. The service was also very prompt and everyone was so warm and friendly. Stopped by for a quick coffee and snack on a Thursday morning. This place is large and has a lot of outlets to make it easy to work. There were two baristas working, but the place wasn't crowded so the wait to order and get your food wasn't long. Service is warm and nice. I got the almond croissant and a cappuccino. Great ambiance. Very large cafe, connected to a flower shop. Tons of seating that is COMFORTABLE. WiFi is stable. 10/10 setting Coffee is STRONG. Since I'm not used to potent caffeine, I had a headache after drinking my beverage, however, it was good nonetheless, a decent mix of coffee & flavor. 7/10 Avocado toast is creamy, has the perfect amount of salt, the right crispness on the bread, and the tomatoes have a pleasant twang to each bite. 9/10 Banana Walnut Muffin is a little stiff, but good nonetheless. Good treat to have with your coffee. The coffee and the environment are good, I really enjoy coming here to study, but the food is now overpriced and generally just doesn't taste good. I've been to the bar in the evening once and ordered an old fashioned which was really good. My partner ordered an espresso martini and it was also good. Hopefully since they're newly opened out will, pardon the pun, flourish. Back to the coffee. Mocha great but lukewarm! What is it with people making coffee in an open mug that's not at least hot to start? They were gracious enough to give me warm milk only to weaken the mocha. How do I start? The barista could barely mumble at me, let alone make eye contact or be nice. I just had to assume she was taking my order. She was texting while making my drink. And they play awful rap music.... how many times do i need to hear the F word while drinking my bad coffee? The shop looks nice and they have all the right gear to be a good shop, but they clearly don't know how to use it. The coffee is burnt to a crisp. I don't leave reviews -- and I hate when people say that -- but the experience I had here recently was annoying enough to leave one. I bought a latte for $6 and change. I don't normally pay in cash, but I had a $10 bill on me. The barista proceeded to use a counterfeit pen to make sure my $10 bill was legit. Remember: I'm buying a $6 cup of coffee. I asked if they get a lot of counterfeit bills, and he said I'd be surprised by how many they get. That's a bunch of crap. If the amount of counterfeit bills was excessive, then adopt a no-cash policy. Do you know why? Because those iodine pens are one of the worst ways to detect counterfeit money. Professional counterfeiters use real money in smaller denominations and bleach the ink off to manipulate the amount (e.g. changing a $5 bill to a $50) to get around the stupid pen, so holding it up to the light to see the specific watermarks for each bill is actually a better detection method. Sure, it'll make your baristas look like they are suspicious of your customers (or following the company's assinine policy... extra s is intentional), but at least it's a) more obvious that they are suspicious/following orders and b) a better fraud detection method. It's also easy to spray a very common chemical on a bill to counter the iodine in the pen that's used to detect the starch in counterfeit paper. The more you know ... I get that the retort will be "we have to accept cash because we don't want to exclude members of our community who don't have credit cards". Great so you're not excluding them but you think that they're passing fraudulent bills. What about the number of people who are fraudulently using credit cards since you're not checking IDs? But back to my original gripe: why would I do all that for a $6 latte that was 75% d@mn foam anyway? I've been here a few times before (paying with a cc) so I gave it 2 stars because it is cute inside. However, all this latest experience did was show me that you are suspicious of your customers. I won't be returning. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take the $3 in change I got back and bleach the bills to make hundos. read more

This new coffee shop opened up on Fleet Street recently and it is definitely the new place to be! There is a lot of seating and the inside is super cute. They have a lot of good drink and food options here. Plenty of room to sit down and take your time. Very comfortable seating. There are outlets even multiple outlets at every table so you can join your friends to work on your laptops, or charge your phone while you sip and snack. The employees are so nice and so is the owner. He is there all the time making sure everything is ok. He is so kind. I thought he was a customer, but he is the owner. Food and drinks are perfect. I just had a great experience with their customer service! I ordered Adee's through Uber eats and when my food arrived the açaí bowl wasn't in the bag. I tried contacting Uber to get a refund but they refused it. we called Adee's and the woman who answered was so sweet in trying to help refund us. eventually the owner or manager got on the phone and was unable to refund from their end but offered to drive the açaí bowl to my house. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I LOVE their açaí bowls and their coffee is incredible and now I'm in awe of how they handle their customer service. 10/10 for you guyssss read more

stumbled upon this super cute spot as my friend and I were walking to another cafe to study (which was 8 mins away). we saw the now open sign and decided to check it out! my first impressions were that the place looked really clean and bright. there weren't many people there on a Saturday afternoon and there were lots of available seating! I always have to make sure there's available outlets wherever I study and luckily they had power strips by the tables! their menu has many great sandwich/bagel options and after some thought, I ordered the sea smoke bagel. the worker was really nice and patient with me as I was really indecisive about my order. the bagel took some time, but when it finally came, I thought it was packed! it had lots of filling (smoked salmon, boiled eggs, cheese, avocado, & cilantro) which made it sooo tasty! i ended up splitting it w my friend and it was a great snack! it came with a small fruit cup which wasn't anything special, and some pieces were squished but it was still nice they offered it. my friend ordered a matcha latte w oat milk and unfortunately it did not have a matcha taste whatsoever. ik oat milk can be a bit overpowering, but the matcha taste usually always comes through if it's a good one. the drink was also not sweet at all and just seemed like a green oat milk :/ I still think this place is a great study & breakfast spot (but will probs pass on the matcha next time)! nice to have this as another option in the neighborhood! read more

This place has incredible reviews and a great atmosphere but I'm super disappointed. The service was rather slow but I can be patient, so not a big deal. I ordered a blueberry muffin, an iced hazelnut oat milk espresso, and an iced vanilla matcha latte. The muffin had like four blueberries and none of the matcha was mixed into the milk. The service was slow and subpar, and the iced matcha was even worse. I took two sips of the drink and trashed it. I decided to give another try with a warmed chocolate croissant. Overall, good coffee and ambiance, however, they need to either hire more people or train their staff more. I ordered a latte, almond croissant, and açaí bowl. I asked about my latte after 20 minutes or so and they told me they were out of almond croissants, so could I pick something else (they should just be able to tell you that they are out when you are ordering). 40 minutes after ordering, I ask about my açaí bowl and they scramble to make it. Adee's is a great addition to the area! Unlike most coffee shops in the SE of Baltimore it has lots of room and well designed seating for groups to meet and many to hang out, relax or work. The mid century modern green chairs are absolutely my favorite. Located just off Broadway market on fleet, it's got a great location for those who live/work in the area or visit the farmers market too! My bf and I both got cold brews and bagels so simple orders, but we did enjoy what we got. The staff are lovely and especially the dear florist next door in the Tulip shop. She is so sweet and fun to talk to! They have lovely arrangements to grab on the go and also some plants for sale. I'll definitely be retuning for that :) Excited to try more of their coffee menu and happy to have a nice coffee shop with a chill vibe and lots of space to be with community. This charming Ethiopian cafe is a gem for anyone who loves coffee, flowers, amazing sandwiches and friendly people! (Not to mention they have the perfect playlist for the atmosphere) Adee's is always a treat for me to visit; I recommend getting either the Monte Christo sandwich or the tuna croissant, both all star 10/10's, (and every entree comes with a special side of fresh fruit) because when you taste the flavors here you'll realize you were way hungrier then you predicted on the way in! I've never left a plate of Adee's food with even a crumb on it (so I have no pictures to post) but Seriously, this place has amazing coffee, flavorful matcha and both savory and sweet mix in the options of their breakfast foods.
