I'm always on the hunt for delicious eats when friends are in town visiting. Adega Gaucha came up on my feed so I made reservations for 4 for the full Churraaco experience through Open Table. From check in, dining, and check out... our experience was a delight from start to finish. Adega Gaucha is smaller compared to other Brazilian steakhouses but I must point out that the quality of the meats are superb! My favorite thing I enjoyed was the grilled pineapple. It was so juicy and tender. I loved the unlimited salad bar station and all you can eat meats. My advice is for you to come with a big appetite and stretchy pants. You will eat like there's no tomorrow. And everything is reasonably priced. Our waitress was extremely attentive. Not a moment did we go thirsty or hungry. Restaurant is pretty inside and feels elevated. Many large groups on a Tuesday made for a loud dining room. I wouldn't recommend for business meetings or dates. Food was good and the price is very fair. Some of the meat we found exceptionally well seasoned. I left upset because my birthday wasn't mentioned although it was listed on the reservation and they celebrated several others around us. They advised a free birthday dinner however we didn't get it. We don't really need handouts so we let it go. I wouldn't discourage others from visiting but we won't return. read more

I found this restaurant on Resy and decided to reserve a table for a small birthday celebration (4 people) and to utilize an American Express restaurant credit. The night started off well with an excellent wine recommendation (we ended up ordering 2 bottles of it). First error of the night was being informed that the Tomahawk was unavailable nearly 40 minutes after having placed the order for it. Based on this, we then ordered: a medium Picanha, a medium New York Strip, and a medium Filet Mignon. Their compensation for this was to offer us 4 access to the salad bar at no charge. There, the cesaer salad, beet salad, and coleslaw tasted of such a strong vinegar base. When the plates were arrived, 2 in our party grabbed the plates when they were set on the table to move it and were immediately taken aback by how hot the plates are (waiters don't warn you of the temperature of the plates like most restaurants). When the Filet Mignon arrived, it was cooked as ordered, but incredibly rough. When the Picanha and New York Strip arrived, despite both being "medium" temperatures, were totally different colors (see photos below). Upon reordering the Picanha, we received a nearly raw (not rare) piece of Picanha (see the photo below). Incredibly surprising for a restaurant which, to my understanding, prides itself on its meats. This is not to mention that within 20 minutes of being seated (close to the entrance), there were two children playing (jumping on and off) on the couches and swing at the waiting area while screaming incredibly obnoxiously. Despite having discretely asked the children to quiet down since no parents were in sight, this was of no avail. After notifying the manager, we were offered to be moved away from the children so that they could continue jumping on the couches and swing. This restaurant wholly underwhelmed me and highly disappointed me and my party. This is certainly not the place for a small adult gathering, nor a relaxed place for adults to enjoy meats. Upon speaking with the restaurant's manager at the end of the dinner (mind you, we had to request him after we paid for the check and were walking out, and waited quite a bit before he attended to us as he was sitting at a table laughing with other waiters) we were met with quite a bit of hostility and not a single "sorry." AMAZING experience. Food is 10/10 with selection, freshness and variety. Service is 10/10. Drinks refilled as soon as you finish them. The servers are ever ready to swap out your dirty plates or take any additional side orders. Servers were 10/10. They are quick to walk the room. My party made several specific requests and every time it was 5-10 minutes and a fresh order would come out. You gotta try the rib eye and the grilled pineapple. I just have to say that I am from NYC Metro (Long Island) and we have many Brazilian steak houses here. Though not one was as clean, had more meat options, and exceptionally clean and well presented salad and desert bar.. I only regret not taking any pictures to post here. The staff was very friendly and catered to our every need timely. The meat came around so fast unlike in NY where you wait and wait. I must same the Roasted Pineapple at the end was a cherry ontop of my meal. Pineable helps with bloating and at this place I could not help myself the meat was great, and fav of mine Lamb was not gamee. I highly recommend this place and ..... This is by far my favorite Brazilian steakhouse in all of Orlando. The decor is so classy and integrates wood tones beautifully. I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Two girlfriends of mine and I went on a Tuesday night to celebrate our friend graduating from college. The service is always impeccable and the staff are so kind. I couldn't believe how busy and packed they were on a Tuesday night, but that just goes to show how good they are. We did the full dining experience which includes an all you can eat buffet as well as all of the passed carved meats with the exception of their elite selections which includes tomahawk. This is an additional upcharge we decided to pass on. We also did a bottle of Merlot with our meal which paired fabulously with the steaks. They have a great wine selection. For dessert, they bring out this incredible dessert cart with all of the beautiful selections and they have an vast variety of options to choose from. We ended up ordering the creme brulee, the brigadeiro and the tres leches cake. They gave us one of our desserts for free as we were celebrating a special occasion. If I could give this place a 10 out of 5 stars I would. We made a reservation here for our 11th Anniversary, as we were visiting Orlando for a quick trip. I will say it is the perfect environment and made us feel so appreciated. Never were our drinks empty, we were always being waited on and we got several thank yous for celebrating with them. The recommendations were on point from the waitress and even when I was waiting on a certain cut of meat, the gaucho asked what we were waiting on and it appeared within minutes. If the grilled pineapple with the sugar and cinnamon comes around, do yourself a favor and get it! It tasted amazing and I want to find a way to make mine that way. I can't say enough great things about this place, please do yourself a favor and if you are looking for a Brazilian steak house, this is the place to go! My friends and I decided to do a Galentine's brunch at Adega Gaucha and it was fabulous. If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, my advice to you is to come with an appetite and stretchy pants. Although I didn't choose the full churrasco option where you get unlimited cuts of different kinds of meats in additions to unlimited salad and food bar, I watched other patrons take part in the buffet options. One thing is for sure - they all looked very happy and full! My lunch consisted of the picanha with rice and black beans as well as yucca fries. The picahna was cooked to perfection and was tender and juicy. I am not a big fan of black beans but these beans were very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Florida mall area. read more

From the hostess to the bartenters everyone here was exceptional. I did not think I could eat this much meat in my life but it was so good I couldn't stop eating it. We did the full churrasco esperience which includes over 10 different kinds of meat, plus 3 side dishes, PLUS access to the gourmet table. Service and food were great! We were in town for an event, which just so happened to coincide with a family member's big birthday. I made a reservation and they were ready for us. The meat was delicious and the food bar had plenty to choose from. The interior is open and spacious. We got a table by the window for our party's birthday dinner. The meat clearly tastes lower quality than Chima or Texas De Brazil and it's maybe a few bucks cheaper...and a lot of the meats were SOOOOOO salty. The place is very clean and well put together. The hostess said our party of 7 was able to sit once half the party had arrived, which was nice. Walking through, I felt as though the place is a little smaller than the other restaurants of their variety. It proved to be a nice thing, because after we sat down, we got nonstop service to our table with the meat selections! First time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly. When it was time for food to come around I was surprised at the limited offerings. For the hour we sat to eat we were only offered some beef portions. Randomly we were offered extremely cold and overcooked shrimp. After we ate we noticed some chicken coming out. It was very disappointing as we paid for the full meal and did not receive it. In addition we were not offered refills on water unless we tracked someone down for it. They have a variety of quality meats to choose from like picanha steak, pork loin, chicken, sausage, ribs and plenty more. The salad bar was fresh with plenty of options to choose from. I never even knew this place existed! On a Sunday morning it was completely packed. I loved the friendly service and decoration of the restaurant! Also the appetizer bar (not sure what to call it-- a big table with lots of sides) offered a variety of items including pork belly, bacon, tons of fruit, salad and cheese! As for the main star which is the meat... the best is definitely picanha. Perfectly seasoned and tender. I wasn't too impressed by the other cuts like filet mignon, bacon chicken, and top sirloin, but the picanha made everything worth it. With the brunch menu came 3 sides which were delicious but maybe next time would pass in order to save room for more meat :3 We also tried the lava cake after which tasted rich and delicious!! Came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly and the restaurant is beautiful and clean! We loved the buffet items and the cheesy bread. Everything was fresh and delicious. We did the "full experience" and the meats were flavorful and filling! The staff brought over many different meats for us to try and our favorite was the lamb house special. They also brought out a grilled cheese with a guava sauce that was delectable. The first time I visited Adega Gaucha was during their Magical Dining experience about two years ago. My second visit took place last week where I was accompanied by some of my favorite people as we celebrated Valentine's or as we called Galantine's together. And, of course, we were not disappointed at all especially since this was my friends first time experiencing the full churrasco (gaucho style) experience with a variety of grilled meats, salads, snacks, appetiziers, desserts, and beveragges. One of my friends and I arrived earlier than the rest of the crew, which is never unusual for our group considering everyone else run on Hispanic time... While waiting for the rest of the members, Brynna, baby Hunter, and I were chillin' at the bar as we sipped on some fine Rose and Pino. The bartender provided us some Candied Bacon to accompanied the wine. Let me tell you something, those bacon are not your regular bacon. As a matter of fact, they are one of my favorite things at Adega Gaucha - with crunchy each bite, there is a flare of sweet, savory, and spicy. When our table was ready, our lovely and lively waitress Luna escorted our group to the table and explained the menu options by the whole nine yards. We ordered a few side dishes for the table - French fries, plantains, fried yucca, mac and cheese for the table to share. Once Luna's completed her speech and took our drinks order, without much hesitation, a few of us went straight to the salad/snack/foods bar for some rice, greens (to help us be less guilty to our conscience/body as we are about to devour some delicacy meats), crackers, cheese, fruits. As for me, I went straight for the Candied Bacon section :) Once the meat circulators circulating around the dining table, I had my eyes on the Picanha (Sirloin), Filet Mingon (tenderloin), Linguica (pork sausage), Beef Ancho (Ribeye), Lombinho com Queijo (parmesan pork), Medalhoes com Bacon (bacon wrapped chicken/steak). I, personally, was not a fan of the Filet Mignon since it was a bit dried but everything else was good - delicious and well seasoned. We celebrated our 31st anniversary at Adega. It is very similar to Texas de Brazil and comparably priced. Overall the meats were delicious and the hot and cold salad bar items were also very good.
