He said that I had to pay $1800 and when I explained that I didn't have that much money to give in such short notice, and that my insurance is to cover anything I need, he told me to get my finances right. Oh, AND, he said he'd give me a deal since I didn't have the whole $1800... he said I could pay $1000. The whole experience was just uncomfortable and embarrassing because he's demanding money but I have insurance. He refused to do the free cleaning and sent me on my way. Shameful way to own and operate a business. Greed. Is a bottomless pit. Do not recommend... especially if you're a college student, already struggling to make ends meet and need a root canal that isn't causing you pain yet.

In February 2019, I stopped by to get an estimate to replace a broken implant (crown only) and I showed him an X-ray image that I brought with me from my general dentist. Prior to the actual evaluation, I specifically asked Dr. HS and got his verbal reassurance that the consultation was free as indicated by a billboard sign hanging outside his office. Soon thereafter, I found out that Dr. HS filed with my insurance and received payments by falsely claiming comprehensive oral evaluation and multiple radiographic images all of which were totally fictitious. After reporting this fraud to my insurance, they asked him for verification but he failed to comply. His fraudulent claim ended up costing me since my insurance refused to pay for my second yearly cleaning/evaluation. Adding insult to injury, I really didn't care for his bedside manners when he made fun of some gum and teeth issues.

She has shown that the patient's health and long term results matter more than making a couple of extra bucks. She also has great bed side manners and builds a personal relation with the patients to make it more than your dreaded, routine visit to the dentist. After 10 years, I am taking the time and effort to move on to a different dental office, which takes a bit of effort. And the reasons why are very serious and if you have a family, you especially need to take these warning into account. I see there are few good reviews (and some clearly fake) for this dental office, well then, for the few real ones - they must have just had a simple cavity. Just give it time- they will figure out this place is no good. 1. Dental offices are required by the medical board to have an emergency number/contact number for patients. On 4 different occasions (2x broken tooth, cavity fell out, crown fell out) I contacted their emergency telephone number and text them on the number. Absolutely no response. Later, on a Monday they lightly reference, that they may have gotten my messages. Today, I found out that they failing to respond or monitor their emergency phone/contact is actually a violation on the medical board. And if I care to, I could file a complaint. Here's why they are failing besides not caring: it's a very small office. One dentist, who uses one young part-time dentist in training and an office manager/secretary- so a 3-person operation. Yep, not much. And they are not open/doing business Friday-Sunday. Yep, closed three days a week. So, God help you if something bad happens to you or your family Friday thru Sunday. They are not going to respond to you, and they are not going to come in to help you or your child, if they or you are hurt. See the problem. Over time, you or your family are going to need special help on a Friday-Sunday. It's going to happen eventually. And when you call the emergency line/text for them (which they are required by Virginia Medical Board to respond to). They will not respond, and they will not help. 2. So, they are a very small operation. 3-person operation and many, many times, they do not pick up the telephone. Basically, they screen calls using their caller id. Yep, not very nice. So, for example (and there are other examples), I've called to ask if a crown has come in. Then later I'd call again to inquire. LOL and guess what, no answer. I call and I call- no answer. Yep, screening calls. Lately, I eventually figured it out and just went over there to talk to them. I just live around the block, so it's no big deal. But recently it made me think. LOL, they been doing this for years. They screen calls using caller id and they don't pick up. Yes. It's kind of funny to think about at first, but when you think about it. It's pretty messed up and if you live a distance away, I guarantee this will be extremely aggravating to you. So, I've read a bunch of these 5-star reviews from people, and they are all nice and cute.... give it some time and real need- you'll find out when they fail you. Also, some real observation. I know people want to be nice, but I was nice with Dr. Dorjee for 10 years and objectively examining her performance ...not good. If she cared, she would respond to the emergency message/texts....if she cared. Guess what, I've figured out, she doesn't. 3. She (Dr. Dorjee) seems to be rotating a lot of young dentists in and out of the office and getting them to do the work. And when I say the work, I mean all the work. Everything from cavity filling to crowns. And she has USED different ones over the year. Recently, for my crown (and I don't normally don't ever do this) I had to look at the person as ask if they have done this procedure before or if I'm first. They looked like they were 19. And I said it in a way, that I needed them to be honest with me. I said it nice, but direct. I had to. So, this has been going on for a while. 4. I've read some of these five-star reviews and they are kind of the same length, and they all seem to sound the same. Alot of "best cleaning I've ever had" and "I was comfortable and enjoy my cleaning soooo much". LOL: I know the young office manager/secretary and these 5-star reviews are her. She's creating a bunch of accounts and talking how great a cleaning and how comfortable and "soooo friendly" lol. Totally her. 5. She has no respect, and she does not care. Sorry, but if she did ... she wouldn't be doing and acting the why she does. I've given her a bunch of chances over the years, because I live right around the corner. But enough is enough.

So I contacted All Smiles Dentists of Fall Church about 8:45 a.m. By 9:15 a.m. I was in the dentist's chair getting x-rays. After taking a look at my teeth and checking which one(s) might be the problem, Dr. Ta found a hairline fracture. He felt that the first step, however, was to make sure there was no nerve damage, and set up a referral to an endodontist they work with. He demonstrated great care, compassion and offered a thoughtful plan for moving forward. I can't thank him and All Smiles enough for such rapid and caring service.
