They did a great job on a simple $15 henna tattoo. FYI...You must let the ink dry for at least two hours, until it starts to peel off (not wash it off as we were told). It will hardly appear at first, but will darken as it oxidizes, over a few hours. read more

Our review is for Danya and the great job she did hair-wrapping our 7 year old's hair ($21 plus $3 tip - ouch and yes, we are SUCKERS!!!). For $2.00 per inch (our kids hair in front is 9 inches) they will wrap a small segment of hair in colored thread, and add beads and/or feathers for an extra charge. She (the kiddo) begged and begged and begged and I finally relented - after she promised there would be nomore talk of hermit crabs, lizards or any other boardwalk obtainable creatures requiring my care. I tell ya, I am in the WRONG business - because this hair wrapping thing is a BIG money maker. Danya - best of luck finishing up University in Russia or Ukraine. All over the store there are signs that say the henna is organic. After getting the henna tattoo t was obviously not henna. The design looks nice but it is black, not the normal brown tint henna normally has. I followed all the directions including letting it dry for 2 hours and then washing my hand with soap and water. When I woke up there was an imprint on my neck of my henna design. I have scrubbed at it and it has faded but there is still a design on my neck. read more

I got a henna tattoo for $15.00 and after 2 hours (as instructed) to wash my henna off with water to reveal tattoo left on skin. Unfortunately there was nothing underneath. Do not go here for hennas. Do not recommend. And their hennas range from $10.00-$50.00 which is pretty pricey for me. There are many other places at the Rehoboth boardwalk with better henna materials for less. I took my daughters there to get Henna tattoos only to find out after my daughters got their sloppy tattoos that they mix hair dye with Henna to do the tattoos. I am sure that it is cheaper than using all natural Henna but are you kidding. You put chemicals on a 10 year old without informing the parent. How underhanded can you get. My daughter had two "henna" tattoos done at Adeline Studio and within 4 days it was gone. Did not use real henna. They used hair dye and called it "Black Henna". There is no such thing!!!! I absolutely hated the service and product of this establishment. I got henna done and it was absolutely horrid, I don't believe that it was authentic henna as the color was more blue and the consistency was quite liquidy.... real henna is brown or black and has a mud like consistency. But my henna rubbed against my shirt and messed up so I went back and asked if they could fix it. The lady I asked just said it would be fine and I pointed to the area where it had completely rubbed off and she threw her hands up in the hair and made a very unprofessional remark, "I'll guess I'll do it". I was so excited when this store opened. I've spent about $90 here. But let me tell you, Dollar General jewelry would hold up better. The earrings I purchased - the backs fell off, therefore I lost an earring. And the chains for necklaces ALWAYS break. Additionally, you cant just purchase the necklace for the pendant because the clasp is too small to remove and put onto your own chain. Any studs fall out. Everything is very cute. Just don't plan to wear it more than once. In the future I'll go back to Accent's. $20 for a piece but it lasts a long time! read more

The man that did my henna tattoo did not follow the design I chose and kept asking me if I liked it after he would mess up. I purchased 2 pairs of sunglasses at their sister store across the street. A few days later I went to wear the sunglasses, and upon opening the arms of the sunglasses, both arms immediately snapped in half. I was not overly forceful, I simply went to put them on my face. I went back to the store 5 days after I initially purchased the items, with my receipt, and I was rudely told by the foreigner working there that he could do nothing about it and refused to exchange the glasses or refund my money. I asked to speak to a manager and he replied that he was the manager. I then said that the sunglasses must have been defective when I purchased them because I hadn't tried to wear them prior to the time when the arms snapped off. He then, very rudely, replied, "EXCUSE ME?! We DID NOT sell you broken glasses." Frustrated, I left the store, and I will NEVER be returning! Save your money and shop somewhere else!!! read more

They did a phenomenal job on drawing or designing the henna tattoos but the tattoo only lasted for about 4 days when they said it was supposed to last for up to 3 weeks. Maybe most hennas don't last long but if they don't it would be nice of them to tell you. The price for the henna was $16 but mine was about the size of a baseball. read more

My daughter had a hair wrap done for $2 per inch and 11 inches in length. When she was finished, the wrap looked short. So I measured it and it was only 9 inches wrapped. I talked to the manager who tried to offer me a store credit or "add to the wrap". I insisted on a redo which was then done. The next day the wrap came unraveled. There is not a listed business number to contact the store. Never again will I give Adeline's our money. read more
