As I explained before, I checked your website, and saw that you were all open for the rest of the morning and the afternoon. Nothing on your website says appointments are required, and we aren't mind readers so how should we have gotten that information? You staff did NOT say sorry. No one asked ANYONE to stop what they were doing to do our nails. We weren't rude or demanding in anyway. I left a review based on my experience, as is my right. There's a professional way to handle these things, and your responses to me and some of your customers is so incredibly nasty and vile. There's no need for you to be rude. The ability to go "heavier" or darker in the brow and still achieve a natural, groomed appearance is hard. The tech listened to me and did not go overly thin and we were able to come out looking very natural and not bad guy looking at all. I would have given this 4 stars if I had left feeling extra fabulous or some emotional experience. It might have been my fault for putting emphasis on looking natural and hoping to come out looking a little more "done" up. This visit basically just met expectations nothing exceedingly awful to say. But nothing exciting either. I'm sure this place is a perfect alternative to European Wax Center all the way in Nashua. I called the salon/spa as soon as we hung up with his sister. The person that answered the phone said it was no issue and she was very kind. Unfortunately, later that evening we received an email stating we were no-shows and we were then charged $300 on our credit card. I called to speak to the owner on Monday. Instead of being, compassionate and kind she lectured me on how many visits I had to cancel in the past year. She agreed to the refund but inferred that I am not welcome back and also would not let-up on the cancellation history. We've been frequent guests at BVI over the years and even held our daughter's wedding shower there in 2024. It's disappointing that an experience at Luxe has now colored how I feel about the property as a whole, given how loyal we've been. Of the appointments I did need cancel for medical reasons (13 over the course of a year), my shortest notice was 9 days and longest was 108, averaging about 7 weeks. That's real time to fill those slots, not someone trying to hurt the business. Their cancellation policy states no less than 24 hours notice is required. I did well over that each time. I typically would book months in advance because securing the people I want and the dates/times I want is not easy if I wait too close to the dates/times I need. This causes me to have to adjust the appointments at times due to medical issues I was having at that time. I explained this to the owner, but she still was very aggressive and heartless.
