Thank goodness the threading trend is finally coming to Manchester, NH at full-force! For a while there, it was hard to find a place to do my eyebrows, and waxing is not for me. There used to only be one place that had this service, and only on selected days (but she was very good at it), so it was hard for me to get there for a threading. Recently, I have noticed two more threading locations have sprung up in the area, and I am ecstatic about it! Hooray! I heard about this place from someone that had a great experience here, so I jumped at the first chance to give it a try. It is located in The Mall of New Hampshire, near Macy's, and it is very convenient. Meera, the girl that did my eyebrows today (I hope I spelled her name right), is a sweetheart, and she is very skilled at what she does. She knows what magic to do with your eyebrows without you saying a word and you look in the mirror at the end completely impressed with her work. Eyebrows are only $12, which is a pretty reasonable price around here. And as a grand opening special offer, if you get 5 services, the 6th eyebrow service is free! I love deals like this, and since they do such a great job here, I know I will be frequenting this place. The shop itself is very simple, very clean. Walk-ins are welcome all the time. She is very fast at threading eyebrows. There were two people before me when I showed up, and I was in the seat within 10 minutes. And, I was out in under 5 minutes. She did a thorough and careful job. I highly recommend threading as an alternative to waxing because it is so much better. Hip hip hooray for threading in Manchester! Terrible eyelash extension service and nasty customer service. The lady that fixed my eyelashes did absolutely nonsense and when I complained she said didn't I know they were fake lashes. The women do an excellent job here. Only draw back is that the wait time is completely unpredictable and it's walk-in only. I've been able to be seen right away and other times had to wait for at least 5 people in front of me. Luckily, majority of the time people only want eyebrows done. I am debating signing up for the full face monthly special for 28$ which includes unlimited visits and makes it worth it to get eyebrow touch ups weekly. They do an expert job on brows and are pretty detailed in lips, chin, sideburns etc. They always allow you to check their work before putting on aloe or ending the session so you can give feedback to have them pay extra attention or fix a detail. The women are very pleasant and speedy. The location was hard to find at first however now I know it's right next to the animal hospital. Parking is always available. read more

I am a long time customer of this threading business and have generally had good experiences. However, I had my eyebrows and lip threaded yesterday by a woman I ha don't seen before and did not have a good experience. When I checked out I had her look up my membership (that I have been paying for for years) and she didn't listen to me when I said I have two memberships under my phone number and only one is active, so she did the transaction through the incorrect account. She charged the full price of the services and I told her she was wrong, but she told me it was too late and I could use it next time. This is absolutely unacceptable and was her mistake, but she did NOTHING to resolve the issue (no return and correctly re-charge, no refund, no credit towards my next visit), she just said "next time." To add to it all, she missed many hairs that I had to remove myself at home. I have been going to this business since I moved to the area in 2013 and unless someone reaches out to me to address this, I will not be returning. read more

I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time here! It was such a fun experience, and isn't that weird to say about something that should be painful? I love threading! It's so cool how they do it. The only thing I was a little disappointed by was that she made one brow a bit more round than the other and since I am SO picky about my brows, I had to tweeze it when I got home. Just had the worst experience here. The lady today, shaped my eyebrows horribly. I have been here 4-5 times so far and the other 2 girls are really great but this one was a disaster. I couldn't find her name. She seems to be eldest among those 3 and she is the only one who uses plucker. They have ids of all 3 girls on the counter. I guess the other 2 girl's ids are in 1st row and this lady's id is in 2nd row. She made my eyebrows very thin and uneven. Really disappointed today. I would recommend, go back home unless the other 2 are there. read more

The only reason I did not give this place one star is because of the incredible job that they do when it comes to eyebrow threading - with that being said, eyelash extensions here are just another story. A horror story at that. I had been curious about the eyelash extensions for awhile and wondered why the ones at Zeba were so cheap...you get what you pay for. The lashes they use are NOT intended for eyelash extensions, as I found after researching sadly after I had got them done. They're the basic lashes that one would get at CVS or Walmart, and meant to be used as cosmetic accessories, not extensions. The way they were applied was not individual and as a result of that, my eyelashes were stuck together in clumps, glued directly to my eyelid skin, and my eye continuously watered. Every time I shut my eye, I felt like something was poking me in my eyeball. I went back immediately to get them removed and the woman told me that, " I don't know how" then handed me a mirror and said "you try." I am not a cosmetologist and was appalled..my eyelids were glued in a zig zag fashion and causing my lids to swell and these "professionals" couldn't do anything about it?! Needless to say I had to be patient and rip them out myself. The aftermath was me having barely any natural eyelashes left, when before my lashes were long and questionably not in need of extensions in the first place. Save yourself ladies! Do not be fooled by this scam price of eyelash "extensions"...go somewhere where they specialize in this, it is worth the extra money for the sake of infection and loss of eyelashes that I should have sued for. read more

I called today and asked if they did waxing. Since my usual place was not open, I had to go here as I was hoping to get waxed before a special event. When I came in, there was little communication except in their own language. I was then called to the back room which was the size of a broom closet. There was no room to move around the table, which was a serious drawback. She then started and clearly had no idea what she was doing. She stopped after a short while, I told her the wax was cold which was probably why it was not working. She said let's take a break and do my face threading. I have had my face threaded several times in the past and she was so hesitant and slow. I'm sure regular customers don't realize this with just a brow wax but she was not threading properly. I couldn't feel the pull and there is a certain rhythm. She was also not holding the thread properly as her hands kept getting caught in my earrings which I eventually took off. We then try to do the wax again and it is still cold. I just told her to stop and I commented that when I called and asked if they provided waxing services, the answer should have been no. Just because you've waxed yourself at home, that doesn't mean you open a studio and offer services you clearly don't know how to do. Really bad experience. Will never come here again and want to warn people against this place. read more

I will start with the only positive part of my experience. I got my eyebrows threaded and the lady did do an amazing job! It's a shame too because of the rest of my experience I will never go back! Second service I had was eyelash exstentions... They use a black professional grade adhesive but do not use professional lashes they use a mixture of tab and cut up strip plastic lashes like the ones you buy at the drugstore. The lady applied the lashes straight to my skin above my eyelashes... The right eye was straight and wasn't visibly bad, the left eye was a zig zag line of pieces of exstentions that had gaps along with sitting in my line of site. I went back an hour after leaving to get the lady to fix the lash that was poking me in the eye... Her fix was to put adhesive on the fake lash to my actual lash and more on my eyelid!!!! I did not realize the extent of the adhesive on my eyelid until I woke up the next morning and every time I blinked my skin pinches and my eyelashes pull!!!! Needless to say my eyes did not stop watering from the irritation. So I again go back to zeba due to these nightmare lashes. I let the lady know that they are pinching and the left eye is all kinds of wonky and just does not look right! She says she can try to fix the left eye by putting more lashes in.... I say no (I didn't need anymore adhesive on my eyelid there was enough already) I ask her to remove them she tells me she can't she doesn't know how to go home and try using an oil based makeup remover. She would not refund my money nor did she contact her manager for me. I ended up going to a professional salon across the way to see if they could help me remove the lashes... All the ladies there were mortified with what had happened with these "exstentions" they tried every solvent that they had including ones specifically for eyelash adhesive. They were not able to remove even one lash! They had started to pull skin up with the lash!!!! Yes very painful to say the least! The least they could do for me was trim the lashes and put black liner on my lid to hide the zig zag black line of adhesive that I had on my eyes. I wasn't expecting too much because my results in the past (at another salon) were just OK. However, I was so, so, so pleased with the results at Zeba! I didn't know that my eyebrows could have an actual shape! No wait time at all, I was actually the only one there! So, I love threading---but this place is the worst!! As soon as I walked in, it literally smelled like rotting garbage!! I saw the manager talking out the garabe a couple seconds later---so I decided to stay and try it out. But still--How disgusting! The women working there were so unfriendly, and didn't listen to me about how I wanted my brows done-and she made them WAY TOO THIN!! I bought the groupon for Zeba for the threading and lash extensions. for $39 I am MORE than pleased. Maya did an amazing job on my eyebrows. They have never looked so beautiful in my life! I have always been complimented on my eyebrows for years.. now they are unbelievably amazing! I had no idea that this process could be so effective. Then I got the lash extensions. They are tiny tiny lashes individually applied to my eyes. It took about 30-35 minutes. She was very gentle and thoughtful on how she applied them. No, they are not the lash extensions that cost $75-$125... but they still look amazing and took time to apply. Awesome for the price. Comfortable and will last about a week to 10 days. I would literally visit Maya bi weekly to have all this done. It was well worth it. However, I do have to say, if someone applying them doesn't know what they are doing, they can totally destroy your lashes as removing applied glue and fake lashes will rip out your real lashes. The glue is serious. If you go here, ask to make an appointment with Maya for lashes. read more
