I was on vacation and returned to a nightmare leak. My house was remodeled in 2023. Now, we were caught in a big mess. Adjust Right represented me against an insurance company. This claim was my second claim so the insurance company was being difficult. In the first claim, I represented myself for the claim. My family and I were stressed out because of Roto Rooter's water mitigation department was acting predatory. The insurance company was not acting with due diligence. It appeared that the insurance company wanted to play hard ball and low ball me. I was stressed out. I had no where to turn. Just when the situation felt gloomy and disastrous, Rick came in to save the day. I was distraught but Rick told me to "hang in there." I was not able to juggle the home rebuilding process and the insurance company at the same time. Adjust Right with Rick and Mark fought to fix my house, secure my hotel, and argue with Roto Rooter to settle. In retrospect, I am extremely happy that I held my nerves and trusted Rick and Mark to deal with the insurance company because they spoke the lanaguage of the insurance field and used software that would communicate losses to the insurance company. When our kitchen flooded, our insurance company offered us practically nothing on what turned out to be a 6-figure job. We are in our 70s and they tried to take advantage of us. Rick put a quick stop to that. He was always available, always answered the phone, and was there when we needed him. Rick is the best when it comes to communicating with the tough insurance companies, as he offers the best consumer service. He is a fast worker, and reply's fast to your emails. My insurance company didn't want to cooperate at all, I tried my best for 3 months and it didn't work and then I hired him and we got the first check very fast and he fought with them and made everything got approved very fast despite that I had bad insurance coverage. We have been having some difficulty dealing with Mercury insurance, and were referred to Rick. My wife called Rick last week, and he said he would like to come out on Monday (Today) to check everything out and see if his service would benefit us. My wife told Rick that she will be working Monday, and my schedule varies, and asked if it was okay if she called him on the holiday (July 4th) to schedule it, Rick said that was fine, and that the number she had was his business cell so he would be waiting for her call. Once we knew my schedule, my wife called but the call was forwarded to voicemail - she tried calling back again immediately thinking it may have been an accident, and was again forwarded to voicemail. My wife then received a text asking who she was, and why she was calling Rick on a holiday. My wife replied saying what her name was, and that Rick was expecting her call to schedule an evaluation. The person then identified themselves as Rick's wife, and said she doesn't appreciate a woman contacting her husband on his day off, and especially on a holiday. My wife replied again saying that Rick was expecting the call, and just asked if the message can be passed along so we can schedule the evaluation. There was never a reply. This whole interaction was not only unprofessional, it was highly inappropriate. My wife was left feeling like she was being treated like the "Other woman", and that she had done something wrong, when she was only following through with what was already agreed upon. It would be a little more understandable if Rick hadn't explicitly stated that this was his business cell, and that he would be expecting our call - but either way all it did was compound the stress my wife is already under trying to deal with a damaged kitchen, and a difficult insurance adjuster. We still haven't heard back from Rick, and at this point I just could never recommend anyone use his service unless you want to deal with drama, and more stress. UPDATE: After posting this review, Rick did call back. He apologized for dropping the ball with the scheduling, but blamed it on children being at his house, and dogs being scared of fireworks, never once addressing the way his wife treated my wife. I really wanted to give him another chance, but we just don't feel like we can trust him after he displayed such a lack of integrity by not owning up to the mistake, and trying to blame it on children, and dogs. read more

A lot of insurance companies will be glad to collect your premiums year after year. When you actually need their help, they will send in their own adjusters to low ball you in order to save money on their end. You need Rick to fight for you and get a fair adjustment. You would be crazy to try to do this alone. The best decision I ever made concerning my house was to hire Rick and his team at Adjust Right. I had a slab leak which completely damaged the walls and floor of my bathroom, garage, laundry room, and hallway. The insurance company wanted to cover only a tiny portion of the repairs. I was very stressed because I thought I would have to cover most of the repairs out of pocket. I tried to talk to the insurance company myself but they wouldn't budge. There was nothing I could do. Then a friend recommended Rick. Rick was very professional, dealt with the insurance company for me and was able to get them to cover ALL the repairs!!! I saw Rick and his team hard at work and WOW! I don't usually write reviews but I consider it a public service in this case. On 4/29/22, I found myself dealing with an upstairs water leak. My longtime insurance company verbally denied my claim without visually inspecting it ! I was left to deal with the problem on my own for the first 10 days and when they decided to honor the claim. I received help from a friend of a friend who was familiar with the process. She was very helpful, but she stated that what they were offering regarding my claim was not fair under any circumstances, and considering that she had managed adjusters for several large insurance companies, I believed her. To make a long story short, I went online searching for help, I made some inquiries when someone handed me a business card for Adjust Right, and thank God that they did! This company is well informed, knowledgeable and know how to interface with the insurance companies on your behalf. Also, compared to other companies who do this work, their fee is more than fair. They are very responsive, fearless and detail oriented. I cannot recommend Rick and his team enough, which includes Marco, Mark and his lovely wife Catherine. We had 3 leaks in about 4 years and I had heard about Rick from my neighbor before the 3rd leak. I had to deal with the insurance company with the first leak and it was horrible. The 2nd leak was small and we didn't go through insurance. The 3rd leak was an overwhelming slab leak in the kitchen/family room. We had to redo our entire kitchen and change out the flooring in our home. We were in a rental for 7 months and we would have lost our minds had it not been for Rick. I really cannot convey my appreciation to Rick and the other professionals at Adjust Right. We had a flood and the insurance company was very quick to settle our claim (for about 1/2 of the cost to reconstruct the rooms damaged). I was stressed beyond belief because this reconstruction project was going to cost us a fortune out of pocket. It was simply through conversation with a friend and they told me to call Adjust Right and see if they could help reason with the insurance company. I had no idea what would happen next. Rick came in and inspected the damage looked at the insurance estimate and laughed. Rick said in plain English that Adjust Right "doesn't let their clients get rolled". Obviously we asked Rick to help and that was the absolute best decision we have ever made. Rick did all the work disputing the numbers with the insurance company going back and forth. Not long after we hired Adjust Right, Rick called to say he needed to come by and bring us a check from the insurance company. Sounds good right? Well Rick did that 3 separate times. In a nutshell Rick got us all the money we needed to do the reconstruction. Rick has the years of experience and knowledge to know the difference between what is fare and the smoke and mirrors the insurance company's present.
