UPDATE: I was contacted by the renovation manager, Robert, and we spoke for over an hour. He was very patient as I told him an account of everything. Afterward, he Took ownership of my mistreatment and apologize. I appreciated it the way he handled it. He also asked for another opportunity to restore trust. I bumped up their review to three stars due to the way he handled the situation, and the respect he earned from me during that verbal transaction. He will be fixing a few things at my house, so I will update my review once that is all completed. Hopefully by the end of everything, I will have trust in the company once again for future projects which is all I wanted to begin with. It's the story of a harsh reality: this company would eventually throw me under the bus. They originally hired an outside crew who rushed through the entire project in one day, despite the Project Manager (PM) promising it would take a week. The work was incredibly messy; they ruined my house with their sloppiness. My floors and stairs were trashed, and my room looked like a child had painted it. They even cut off a section of flooring that was meant to stay and tried to hide it with tape so I wouldn't notice until after they left. When I asked the workers why they were in such a rush, they admitted they had another job the next day and just wanted to get mine out of the way. Additionally, while I have no proof, an external charger that never leaves my house went missing while they were here, another $50 lost. I also never received a refund for a part of unused flooring they took back. When I called to complain to my PM, Antonio, he fired the crew--rightfully so--and assured me he would fix it. However, he then tried to claim some of the issues were because I chose a darker paint color, suggesting he could have charged me for an "upgrade" but didn't. I told him that was no excuse; he never communicated any extra charges, and I had explicitly asked for permission to choose my own colors. I then had to wait for their "best" in-house guy, Theo. I waited a week for his availability, and while he did a great job cleaning up the paint in one of the rooms, that's when the run-around began. For over a month, Antonio would schedule Theo, only to call the day before (or the day of) to say he was no longer available. At one point, the PM tried to flip the script, saying the delay was my fault for insisting on Theo. I had to remind him that he was the one who recommended waiting for Theo in the first place. Finally, Theo showed up unannounced at 4:00 PM one day. Since I wasn't expecting anyone, I was hesitant to let him in until I realized who it was. Antonio hadn't given me any warning. After he worked that day, I told him to let Antonio know that I had already fixed the stairs and much of the upstairs myself because I couldn't wait any longer for them to correct their mistakes. He promised to return Tuesday to fix the trashed flooring downstairs and finish the upstairs. Monday came, and it was the same song and dance: the company had "more important" clients, and he was sent elsewhere. Antonio promised Wednesday instead. Tired of waiting, I fixed the flooring downstairs myself that night so it would have time to cure and I could finally get my house back in order. At this point, they should have put me on the payroll; I performed 2/3 of the repairs myself while still paying my bill in full. On Wednesday morning, Antonio called to say he was sending someone else entirely, because again Theo was not available after being sent to a more important job. This new person fixed the cut flooring and "fixed" the paint, but I still had to clean up after him because his attention to detail was severely lacking. During the final walk through, I told Antonio I just wanted them out of my house. I felt like Sandy in Grease: "You're a fake and a phony, and I wish I'd never laid eyes on you." We had a horrible experience with this company . We had a water leak in our attic that dripped down into the drywall . We called them they set up their fans and the humidifiers . For 8 days they showed up late every single day anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours late . For those eight days they charged us $13,000 . These guys were on site and got to it, barely after I hung up the phone with my insurance company. While everyone has been great, a special shout out goes to Marcus Morales, the first person to come out from the company. He was very helpful and very reassuring. To a number, the employees we have dealt with have been incredibly courteous. The head of our contents crew, Jesse, was also very courteous and helpful. As a woman, I appreciated them allowing me to take the lead in my decision making (I did not have to push like in so many male dominate professions. broken water pipe broke and we needed to get it restored. we had to move out for weeks while work was being done. At first glance everything looked great.. with in days of returning home we started to see problems. Needless to say nothing was ever done about it. it is to my understanding they offer a 10 year warranty on the wooden floor and I am here to say not true. As I sit here today wondering why I ever even entered into a business relationship with them and am asking anyone reading this to find someone else. Poor customer service and support. Requested company for mold remediation through home builder. Company cancelled agreement with builder after completing day 1 of 2 for furniture removal in preparation for work. Cancelled without contacting us, the homeowner. When we called they stated that the builder was the customer and not us, the homeowner. Now we have to have a separate company come out and finish their work. " JCS Restoration Again Did A Good Job ! " JCS Restoration came out to my house again to fix a toilet in our master bedroom that was leaking across the tile under the baseboards and through the wall to the other side into the closet area. The small water damage started to show black mold on the baseboards so I called JCS Restoration again to come out and fix the problem. My wife and I never saw any water traveling to the mold area so we never saw the water damage. Jimmy the manager came out and was so nice as he help Jorge, Rafael, and Robert get the work started and finished. Jorge and Rafael did most of the work over the 1 week and did a fantastic job. They really cared about doing everything they could do to perfectly reconstruct the dry walls, door jams, baseboards, toilet, and re-painted everything to finish the restoration job. I could not recommend JCS Restoration enough. They were amazing! When our house flooded and my insurance reached out to them, they got in contact with me right away and Lluvia came right out to assist in the situation. She then had Isaiah, Jessy, Johnathan, Renee, and Leo come out and they packed up my house with care and were very careful with all of my belongings. All five guys were amazing, but we mostly had Isaiah and Jessy working most of the days and they were great! They were very helpful, friendly and polite! They were always asking what more they could do for us. They were very patient and thoughtful. When it was time to bring my stuff back, they came out right away and were very organized. They knew where everything went and helped unpack the boxes and put things back where it belonged. They were careful to put out rugs to keep my new floors clean and cleaned up as they went. The customer service I got was beyond what I thought I would get, as you do not see that anymore. They truly put the customer first and they worked as a team. These guys worked very well together. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have their things packed up and unpacked. You will not get better service anywhere, as I was in a hotel for 5 months while another company did the repairs, and I met many people who's houses were flooded, and they were not getting the service as we did at other places. This is a 3 step review I am going to do, We had an issue at our home with a burst pipe on the 2nd floor and had local shop/business come out to inspect. They recommended a Restoration company but we already had heard of another company who was very well known in the business. We decided to go with JSC through recommendation of the local rep who came out, so far there initial contact and inspection as well as work ethic in my opinion is very good. They got the initial setup done quick and professional as well as keeping site clean. I have submitted photos of there work and am pleased with this initial phase. This is a terrible company run by very incompetent/fraudulent people who will charge you by the estimates and not by work actually done. Falsifying claims to insurance on your behalf and when the insurance denies the charges they will attempt to charge you. We have apartment buildings and have dealt with many contractors and JCS Restoration is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with in regard to honesty and integrity. The service requested did match what JCS promised. Deeply disappointed to say the least. Management was considerably late regarding response time and scheduled finish time. The workers were extremely helpful but overworked, and it seemed to be a larger management issue. Recommended for small renovations, but do NOT recommend for full renovations. read more

I had laminate installed in my home and it's lifting in areas they did replace the bathroom in a small area but the other parts of the house has the same problem. The technician that did the replace planks that works for Jcs said who ever installed originally said it was installed wrong and now they won't come back to replace any more planks. read more
