On August 7th, I went to Fix a Crack to have my windshield replaced. Alicia recommended a…read moreprotective film to prevent future cracks, which I purchased for $640. Unfortunately, less than two weeks later, the windshield cracked again. I contacted Alicia and she told me to bring the car back so they could fix it. At no point did she mention there would be an additional fee. When I brought the car in, Steven (her husband) removed the film and assured me he would replace it at their expense and "take the loss." However, after repairing the crack, Alicia charged me another $95--even though I explained I have unlimited windshield warranty coverage through Honda and wouldn't have been charged for a replacement elsewhere. To make matters worse, she later refused to reinstall the protective film I had already paid for, instead offering only a discount if I bought a new one. In the end, I lost the $640 film I purchased, paid an extra $95, and was left with a cracked windshield. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this product or business.

They're located on North Closer on the corner of East Van Week Street, just five blocks north of the County Courthouse. There are just a few parking spaces in front, but some street parking is available around the corner on Van Week. For auto-glass, you would of course use the service bay, and for windows and such they come to you. I found them on Yelp! while looking for a replacement pane of glass for a picture frame. I looked up their website and requested a quote. I was answered promptly with a reasonable price, and it was ready the very next day. The reception area is nice, and there is a comfortable sofa for seating if you happen to need it. There is a show room where you can see samples of the kinds of work they do... thick glass for shower enclosures, beveled mirrors, windows, table tops, you name it. I was obviously not their biggest client, but they were very friendly and efficient. Within a few minutes I was able to leave with the glass safely inside the frame for transport. The most egregious insanity I have ever heard in multiple states and working with mechanics. Do not go here. The bait and switch and gaslighting is insane
