If you make a donation of a certain amount, you can select one of the many stuffed animals dogs adorning the walls. They also have dog-related merchandise inside for sale. The store is nicely decorated and inviting, more of a living room feel than a pet store feel. Sometimes they have real live dogs in the store inside little gated areas. We will definitely be back to see them in person.

Let's get into it... 1. I am accustomed to her grooming apportionments being no longer than 2 hours. This "groom" took 5 HOURS! 2. I communicated clearly my expectations for her cut. "Please cut off anything that is matted but I also want you to communicate with any big cut decisions. They shaved her down to the skin. Then did not call me once to debrief. 3. At the 3.5 hour point of this grooming appointment, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. I called back and DEAD ASS was put on hold for another 10 minutes. At that point I hung up, drove over to an empty store front. No one was there. Eventually someone arrives... they then tell me she needs an additional hour. "So sorry, it's so busy in here" ... as she is restocking the treates on the front counter. 4.This "grooming appointment" left my dog in the worst condition I have ever seen her in. Her skin is RED, raw and she will not sit down. She has not stopped itching, biting and scratching her skin to the point of making herself bleed. (Please see photos below) 5.Let me end this by saying there is no amount of money I would not spend on my dog. This TERRIBLE grooming appointment cost me $144 and then had the audacity to ask for a tip on top of it. 6.I am now spending my time looking up home remedies for medical aid to skin irritation. One of the owners asked us what exactly we wanted in a dog. After explaining, she suggested a Cavachon. She could not have been more right. Jules has been the biggest joy in our family. She is a kiss and tail wag in the morning, play mate in the afternoon and cuddle bug in the evening. She has been the biggest help in my husband's loss of his brother. I don't take him anywhere he doesn't get flees it's actually your fault he did and you do nothing?! this actually says more about the care you have for the animals people trust you with, what if he was close to a dog with rabies and you didnt pay attention just like you didn't with the flees. Liz was responsive via both email and phone, and was easy to communicate with. She confirmed when the trapping was successful and even sent pictures to show that the cat was safe and taken care of. I really appreciate her continued communication, especially since I don't even live in Florida and wouldn't otherwise have a way to check in on this. I believe she is running this on her own so if there is any delay in response, have some patience. Working in non-profit animal rescue is no simple task. Liz clearly has a love for cats and wants to help as many as she can.
