A lot of the clothing designs feature the Jupiter Lighthouse, sea turtles, boats, surfboards, anchors, and mermaids. Jupiter Vintage sells men's and women's shirts, hats, candles, canvas art, tumblers, towels, bags, sunglasses, bracelets, and Christmas tree ornaments. I love the beachy vibe of the store with it's colorful tropical murals and surfboards. While I shopped I had a nice time chatting with the gentleman who was helping me and who is also a Jersey transplant. I love the designs and ended up purchasing a shirt for a gift. They are definitely not the tacky T shirts you see at the beach souvenir shops. You can tell the quality as soon as you feel the shirt, it is so soft. Short sleeved shirts are around $30. Unfortunately they were sold out of the shirt in my size that I wanted but I am planning on stopping in the next time I'm in town. If you can't make it to beachy Jupiter, Florida you can shop their online store. They are offering free shipping on orders over $75.

You never know what you might find! The owner and her mom greeted us and offered to help us find anything we might be looking for. If you are in the area thrift shopping, stop by here because- why not? you might find a treasure! There is a little kids area at the front, a lot of decor on the walls, some clothing, dishes; I am certain the items change frequently. Some ideas/feedback: I had trouble finding the sizes of the shoes easily (but maybe I misread the size as the price?), and it can be helpful to separate the plus size clothing since there is usually very little of it. Jordan along with Habitat founders Millard and Linda Fuller developed the concept of partnership housing. Those in need of shelter would work side by side with volunteers to build affordable homes at no profit. House payments would be combined with no interest loans provided by supporters which would then be used to build more homes. In 1973, the Fullers took their house building concept to Zaire where they worked for three years. When they returned to the United States they founded Habitat for Humanity International in 1976. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn became involved and raised awareness. Habitat is now in all 50 states in the U.S. and in more than 70 countries. They have helped 29 million to be able to afford safe shelter. In 1991 Habitat for Humanity launched the concept of the ReStore in Winnipeg, Canada. In 1992 the first Habitat for Humanity restore opened in the U.S. in Austin Texas. The ReStores accept donations from the community and home improvement stores and then resells the items to the public at a discounted price. The profit from the ReStore supports the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. I discovered this Habitat for Humanity Restore around the corner from where I had lunch. Compared to other restores I have visited, this store was cleaner, neater, and had more items. Several rooms were filled with furniture, clothing, accessories, home goods, decorative items, large and small appliances, toys, lamps, books, baskets, and linens. I was tempted by a $6 instant pot. On the day I visited they were having an additional 20 percent off pink tags. This is a great store to thrift, especially if you are setting up your first home. Shopping and donating to Habitat for Humanity really helps people in need.

It is a charity thrift shop run by volunteers - the best kind! Not sure what this building was beforehand, but it consists of many small rooms, and they are setup with different items and themes. This makes the place fun to explore. There is a men's room, a children's room, a kitchen room, a book and records room, etc. Some notable sections: a Christmas section, a room of mostly crystal (along with a collection of wedding bells that ring), and a religious/(Catholic?) section. Some furniture have labeled drawers where inside are treasures or additional items. I found a few scarves to take home with me. Not sure how comparable the prices are locally, but it seems to be in between the cheap and the upscale.

They had a lot of items to explore that included neatly organized clothing, shoes, accessories, household goods, small appliances, jewelry, artwork, sporting goods, toys, DVD's, books, collectibles, and furniture. They had a set of Temptations plates and bowls that tempted me, signed artwork, a collection of lighthouses, tons of china, antiques, and vintage items. Prices seemed very reasonable with many items having even further mark downs. Make sure you inspect all items carefully because they do not have refunds or exchanges. Note that they gratefully accept donations and will pick up furniture for free. This is such a worthy cause and it was so much fun treasure hunting through the store.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I ordered a cabinet because the one in the…read morestore was a little larger than I needed. Went back to pick it up and it was a completely different cabinet and color- something that you would buy at Hobby Lobby. When I spoke to the owner - she was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Said she would order another one- I said at this point I didn't want the cabinet- as I drove 2 hours to pick it up. She said that she was ordering it anyway. I said that I would go to my credit card company to help resolve the issue. She texted and said if I did, I wouldn't get the cabinet or my money- that she had done this before and always won. When I disputed the charge- she lied and told the credit card company that I received the cabinet. I have spent thousands of dollars in her store over the last 5 years and will never shop there again and I tell everyone I know to steer clear. Still fighting the charge and will be going to small claims court.
