We hired Ashley to be the day-of coordinator for our wedding, but she really went above and beyond her call of duty. A full two months before the wedding she was working out our wedding timeline with us via google doc. Her template made the whole crazy event seem manageable and organized, and allowed us to solidify the schedule of our wedding day quite precisely. Throughout the time leading up to our wedding, she helped us plan seating arrangements, procession order, and worked with our caterers (ArtQuest Catering) to organize their role within the schedule. Over a week before the wedding she sent us a to-the minute timeline of the day, and worked with us as we tweaked it right up until the day before. Despite being, as I mentioned, our day-of-coordinator, Ashley literally ran our rehearsal session the day before the wedding. She was on site before we arrived, took us through every step of the ceremony schedule, made sure everyone knew what they were responsible for, coached us our walking speed, asked pertinent questions, etc. On the day of the wedding, she seemed to be everywhere at once, managing what was a pretty complicated, orchestral event. We were not the easiest clients- our wedding was packed with a ton of tiny specific events, like surprise serenades, and a very short window for sunset photos, and a rock performance that included the bride and groom. Ashley was there through it all making sure we knew where we were headed next, that we were on time, and properly hydrated. Seriously, we were super stressed planning for this wedding, but on the day it happened everything went so smoothly and that was in large part to the care and precision and professionalism that Ashley brought to her work coordinating the day. Amazing, Great and Outstanding! That's my description of the customer services I received from Ashley. From the date I hired Ashley she was kind and super helpful with the overall planning. She shared her recommended vendor's list for transportation, draping, music, floral designs, etc, which helped me A LOT. She was so nice she even planned a surprised slideshow with the Maid of Honor and Mother of the Bride, providing them with additional options and suggestions based on her expertise in the area. She worked with us as a day-of coordinator, which also meant keeping on top of things weeks prior, and communicating with us from the day we signed with her (and answering all of our nervous questions and giving us helpful advice!). My husband & I were long-distance at the time, and I was finishing out my graduate studies, which meant it was an especially hectic time for us, and having Ashley there along the way was tremendously reassuring. We hired Ashley as our day of coordinator after she came highly recommended from a friend of mine. My husband and I are not from the San Diego area, and we wanted a day of coordinator who knew the venue well and the ins and outs of a wedding in San Diego and could give great advice. Our wedding was on a beautiful sunny Saturday at the Scripps and we had met Ashley for our rehearsal on Friday with our bridal party. Ashley handled a group of 30+ people including my gigantic family and bridal party (including 10 children) wonderfully. She was able to command a presence and keep everyone organized and even guided our families on how to walk, where to sit, and so many little tips on hugging at the front of the aisle, which bridesmaid needs to hold 2 bouquets, fluffing my dress before I hand my bouquet to her so she has both hands. The list truly goes on and on. Ashley also earlier on in our wedding week took the time to calm my worried heart when my husband and I could not agree on how to do table visits during our reception as we were trying to juggle sunset photos and spending time with family and friends. She listens and gave great advice that we ended up using and it was a method that addressed both my husband and my wants. As for our wedding day, Ashley had taken all the items from me on Friday afternoon. I did not have a single worry knowing that Ashley was on our team. I got to the venue at 1:30p on our wedding day and things were pretty much all ready for our ceremony starting at 4:30. Everything looked magical, and honestly any hiccup that happened, never got brought to my attention. Even when we had an issue with 2 of our reserved parking spots, I had my family deal with Ashley directly since I was busy taking photos. I felt truly stress-free and so relieved to know that Ashley and her team had taken control of the day, she would help me stay on schedule so I never looked at the clock. She knew what needed to happen, so I didn't need to remind my dad when to make his toast or line up all the members of the bridal party before walking down the aisle. She is also incredibly attentive as my husband and I wanted to toast with apple cider for the bulk of our wedding day until the end of the night since neither of us are drinkers. She made sure we always had apple cider for any "toasts" and cheers moments. She also gave my bridal party specific directions on where to go during the grand entrance and also to continue standing at the dance floor during our first dance. We didn't practice that during the rehearsal but I loved that our closest friends were on the dance floor with us watching our first dance. It made it a lot more fun for us since my husband and I aren't normally graceful dancers. She also worked wonderfully well with the rest of our vendors and seeing our vendors get along also made us very happy. We even had an issue with a blown speaker and had to rewire a speaker near the dance floor. Lastly, at the end of the night, I realized I had forgotten my garter and she just ran to her box of tricks/supplies and found some white ribbon to tie around my leg. I thought what a perfect idea since no one will ever need to know that that was not a real garter. Needless to say, our wedding day was perfect and Ashley was a big part of that. read more

Ashley was my day of coordinator for my wedding this past November 2015 in La Jolla. She was always punctual and organized when we met up for our consultations and our venue walkthrough. It also helped that she had done past events at my venue. She set up the decor in our venue perfectly and even taped little paper mache roses I had given her to our photobooth backdrop. The most amazing wedding planner we could have ever hoped for! Ashley helped make our dream wedding come to life! Ill start by saying through the entire wedding process I (bride) was very organized with spread sheets and even a wedding binder. I thought I could stay on top of things and go without a wedding planner for the day of. As things started to pile on quickly with about six months to go, we decided to look into wedding planners for the day of coordination. I looked all over yelp and the knot and narrowed our selection down to about fifteen choices. I emailed all of the potential wedding planners and Ashley was the first to respond. I thought it was a good sign that she emailed me back within a couple hours and was very organized and kind from the beginning. Within the week we met for coffee where she provided me with a couple samples of day of schedules and floor plans for some of the venues she has worked at before. Not only was she organized but also kind and a very calming presence so it was just nice to talk to her about wedding details. From the start I was super impressed. Then two months prior to the wedding Ashley met us at the venue for a walk through and listened to all our ideas and even gave some tips of her own on things I had not even thought about. After finalizing the day of schedule together she sent it to all our vendors and basically coordinated with all vendors a couple weeks before. It was very relaxing to have her.. She went above and beyond as a day of coordinator. Now lets get to the day of our wedding. We've heard from so many of our guests that the wedding was the most organized and elegant event they've been to and that the décor truly captured our love and style as a couple. This vision was not possible without Ashley. She showed up at the rehearsal the night before and handed out schedules to all bridal party and family members involved and organized a flawless rehearsal. Then on the morning of she text all of the wedding party reminders about when and where they needed to be. She even text me the sweetest message about this being my special day with a reminder that my hair and make up team would show up at 8 am. Throughout the day while I drank champagne and got ready with my bridesmaids Ashley would pop in and give me a casual and relaxed update. Ashley was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding. I am terrible at planning and calling people to get the job done, as I just never have time with work. So, I am so happy that we met Ashley to help us do everything I did not want to do or just did not have time to do. She made herself available at every call or text I made. WE LOVE ASHLEY!!! We hired her as a day- of coordinator for our wedding in June 2016, and she went ABOVE and BEYOND. Even guests at our rehearsal dinner commented on how organized and thorough she was, and my bridesmaids were commenting about how they want her for their upcoming weddings. Ashley was the wedding planner for my son and his wife's wedding in late Sept. They had a previous wedding planner, who informed them ~ 5 months before the wedding that she would be out of the country, but would have one of her assistants handle the wedding. My son and his wife live in Texas; the wedding was in Del Mar. We needed someone here to take control. The change when Ashley started was incredible. So organized--but so calm. We met at the venue (Powerhouse Community Center, where she had worked previously) She did more in one meeting that the prior planner had done in 7 months! We just got married in early October, and Ashley with Adore was so great! This was a destination wedding - and it was so helpful to have her onboard as the coordinator from afar. She helped me to think through ideas for design and look of my wedding and reception - her design eye is great and her very artistic. I would highly recommend Ashley as a Wedding Planner. She was a necessary stress reliever for our wedding day. We used Ashley as our day of planner and she went above and beyond just the day of the wedding. She met with us multiple times before the wedding, so calling her a day of event planner does not do her enough justice. She helped us coordinate our ceremony and followed up with all of the vendors to keep us on track and organized for the big day. She created our timeline and helped us stay on track to make our Wedding Day run smoothly. Ashley's attention to the details and planning was amazing. We made our own centerpieces and table runners, Ashley set our tables and made the venue look beautiful. She picked up our dessert as they did not deliver, and helped to implement all of our DIY projects. She provided a vase for our sweet heart table flower arrangement and even had Advil on hand for my headache. She is very professional and personable and her calm and confidant demeanor allowed my husband and I to enjoy our wedding without worrying about anything. She always made herself available if I needed her. She listened to what we wanted for our wedding day and helped to make it a reality. It is hard to express what a truly AMAZING job Ashley did as our wedding day of coordinator!! We had a terrible experience with our reception venue and having Ashley there was an absolute life-saver. Although she technically was the "day-of" coordinator, she helped throughout the wedding planning process and was always so clam and organized that it really made everything go so smoothly! She was always available with ideas and suggestions for any wedding planning questions I had, and always got back to me so quickly whenever I needed anything. When our venue coordinator stood us up for our tasting and final walkthrough, Ashley was so flexible and graciously agreed to drive all the way back out there later on when we were able to reschedule. When our venue lost 2/3 of our guest list for the gate, Ashley was there immediately to handle the situation. I'm sure she handled many other screw-ups by our venue that I don't even know about because she constantly took the initiative to handle every problem, and left me out of it so that I was able to enjoy the day with my husband and family.
