The experience was akin to when I entered BCT and had my entire head forcefully shaved. I got in; sat down. Tried to explain how I wanted the mustache; how I wanted the top hair. Mid-sentence on my explanation, the hairdresser immediately starts snipping my hair. I was appalled. I had to assume she understood what I meant (she had little-to-no clue). My mustache got butchered. I asked for a straight walrus. She trimmed 80% of my mustache off. I got nipped twice and bled. She spent about 12 seconds trimming my mustache. I spent several minutes at home cleaning up the stray hairs she missed from the piss-poor technique she used. Mustache was a 0/10, which to be fair, she didn't charge me for. The top hair I was praying to God she wouldn't make me bald. Ended up with a splotchy, uneven medium fade with the hair not cut the way I wanted. Wasn't even close. The actual haircut technique was probably 3 points out of 10. The only bright side of this experience, if one can say there was. They accommodated my inability to pull money from a checking account; There's an ATM in the back, as only cash is accepted. So I grabbed my phone and paid through cash app.
