A couple of weeks ago, he was even wearing Halloween-themed scrubs. To be honest, I've only been to him twice. I am just super bad at maintaining my health. The first time was in 2011, when I had a severe infection in my molar that was spreading to my jaw. Because I was a young person with no health care, he helped me out and practically saved my life (I potentially could have died if I let the infection spread any more). I was seriously in a sorry state. He even sent me a postcard afterward, urging me to get surgery to save myself. I saw him again recently for a similar case (though not as bad... I just eat way too much sugar) and he remembered me. I am glad that he still has his sense of humor, but also a no-nonsense attitude when it comes to important things. I would urge anyone to go to him if they are afraid of the dentist. He is a welcome change of pace, and he actually cares about his patients.

Not only used more advanced (comfortable) x-rays, but he used a special oral camera that found tiny cracks (from silver fillings), tapped my teeth, measured my gum loss and even used a special laser that checked for hidden decay. He was more thorough and more professional than any other dentist I've ever seen. I've never had such modern equipment used, nor experienced such a high level of expertise. Then called me after a year stating that I owed over $800 and threatened to send me to collections even though it was never communicated to me that I owed anything. I set up a payment plan which was fine until they upped the payment without communicating once again. I asked why they did not call me and they tried telling me that I stated I wanted to be contacted by email. Never once did I say that. And I never received an email from them either. When I was referred to Smile, I was a little skeptical. I was over forty, teeth in bad shape and not covered by insurance. From my first meeting with Frank and Jennifer, to my most recent appointment with Vicki, I have been completely satisfied. The "five stars" you see at the top, is well deserved...and no I wouldn't give them that here, if I felt otherwise. I wore my braces for three years, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. While I don't quite have "movie star" teeth, they look and feel much better! during that entire time, I never once had an uncomfortable experience, bad staff interaction, inconvenient appointment or otherwise. From Tessa and Jennifer at the front, to all the ladies in the back, top notch customer service/experience. I cannot say enough good about EVERYONE in that office! My wife also goes to Frank and crew, and is happy with her treatment as well. This staff performs miracles everyday. We will send our youngest daughter there, should she need them. Lastly, for the last couple of years, I have asked for their assistance in helping the homeless on Christmas Day. The reason I'm really appreciating them is that whenever I forget to schedule my son's bi-weekly adjustments they call me to schedule. How convenient is that? Extremely. It means that I can have someone else take him in for the visit and then he wont miss any appointments because they'll call to let me know when the next one is due. I really appreciate that level of service. Dr. Cercone also put the braces on my daughter's teeth. They look wonderful years later. I'm a happy mother because we chose this orthodontist.
