But, over the years he has become rude, dismissive and does a sloppy job. He has always overcharged which is fine if you do a superb job. But, now he does the bare minimum on the repairs. And when you bring up an issue that should have been taken cared of in the first place it becomes "another add on" that he hadn't included in the first quote. Makes you feel like he was doing you a favor with the previous price. Just be upfront and don't waste people's time. It's hard to find parking, so going to that side of town is a mission to begin with. It's a shame too, the art of shoe making is rapidly fading and small places like this are becoming rare.

The sole of the shoe ripped as you can see. At first he fixed it for the same reason and he glued it and said it wasn't going to fall off and it did as soon as I wore it. So I took it back the second day and the same thing. He even kept my shoes for 2 weeks and he didn't even did it right! I recommend taking the shoes somewhere else. I went back to get a refund but he said no. He only said I had warranty and he can fix it again but I decided not too. Karma will catch up to him.

The day after I got them shined I had work and used them for 30 minutes before they fully peeled and ruined the shine. I went back and was told I would have to pay again even though I paid $55 for 30 minutes of shine. The most recent time I went I was driving home and realized that they had completely torn the inside of the boot where my heel padding is. I would not recommend them ever and wish they were not the only business that is close to me. I recommend leather luster and shining yourself for basically the results and $20 for a can that will last you over a year.
