If you are considering a flooring project, definitely give ADS Flooring a call. My husband Chuck and I chose them to do a complete floor makeover on the lower level of our two-story home. I contracted Tony/ADS flooring to do my stairs. And it was not quality work. When they were installed, and "finished" they left gaps in the walls, and forgot to install the baseboards. Which we were charged for. They came and added the baseboards, but it was a very big unpleasant ordeal. Our stairs were curved so they made two into squares, which is visually very un level to which we notified them of this. It does not look good. And they were not eager to fix this problem at all. They claimed it was the structure that was not level --but they literally made the stair which is what's NOT level. Every time we tried to communicate something we didn't like, it was met with reluctance to fix and an unaccommodating attitude, it was hard to have a working relationship. Because we paid them for a service, and it was not done properly. I just had my stairs done maybe a month ago, one stair which I had them come back and even glue is still not adhering. A baseboard and the landing is not flush to the ground and has a very large gap. The estimates were also very confusing to how they were sent. They sent them in multiple separate emails, and at the end it seemed like hidden fees. And much more expensive. It cost about $3500-3600 for my stairs, and I wish I would have hired someone else. There are still several errors. They were not installed with care or attention to detail. I originally was referred to ads from the previous homeowners. The downstairs area was done in 2020 and already has flooring coming up, to which we just discovered. And it is tenting in a lot of areas, which is not good. And sadly they also did the upstairs bathrooms and laundry room and just glued the vinyl on top of the original tile. As a RN, I deal and handle all sorts of challenges and difficult communication. And this was a bit of a wild expierence with ADS and Tony, who can't really communicate if you don't like something. This is by far NOT the company to do your floors. I would strongly suggest you spend your hard earned money elsewhere and have someone whose going to take time to do the job right as well as communicate professionally and pay attention to the detail you deserve. read more

We had 2 bathrooms we wanted to remodel. We found ADS Flooring here & Angie's List (immediately responded to project request) as past work w/a different company was a bad experience. The immediate & professional response to our request was the beginning of a GREAT experience w/ADS; owner Tony, office mgr Monique and 3-4 of his installers. Short review is that they came for in-person measure to estimate within 24-48hrs. They had us scheduled within 2wks. Our job went a bit long, BUT some was due to drywall and framing damage discovered post-demo. Tile work was excellent quality, we were given great suggestions and are happy w/completed work. So much so, we just signed off on 2 additional projects (kitchen backsplash & fireplace hearth) to be done by ADS Flooring. Price was not the cheapest, but NOT most expensive. We were able to use tile we'd purchased. Their thorough prep work ensures showers/floors will be beautiful & watertight for many years! Note: Many tile co's require you order tile through them; limiting selection & ability to find best price/quality/value. Also keep in mind while we ALL want our project done immediately, it's far more valuable to find a quality contractor! Most of those have work scheduled already BECAUSE they do quality work. Have reasonable expectations that it'll take some time to be scheduled unless you have an emergency (actual damage NOT "visitors coming," etc.) or are prepared to pay a rush-job premium. short - We highly recommend ADS for your next job! Tl;dr version w/more detail Background: We'd previously removed our kitchen down to studs, changed layout & bought new flooring for entire home. It's a prior rental property w/long-term tenants who'd not reported a leak and water damage AND attempted unauthorized DIY electrical & paint/wallpaper projects. So most projects became greater in scope due to underlying damage or poor workmanship. As we completed kitchen, flooring co. referred a "good flooring company w/great deals." We reviewed past work - 1 job in person. We hired them for ~1000sf (plus stairs) of laminate flooring, ~200sf of kitchen tile floor, backsplash, tiled toe-kicks and to re-tile fireplace hearth. Lam flooring turned out decent, tile was atrocious. Hearth tiles literally fell off w/in 2yrs and grout was disappearing from kitchen floor (they "forgot" to tile toe-kicks, we cancelled backsplash after losing faith in their abilities). We were a bit gun-shy but never found the time to do ourselves. Enter ADS Flooring... By the time we started bathrooms, we were 1mo away from a new baby. ADS did their best to get us on the schedule ASAP (~1.5-2wks out) after measure & estimate within 24hrs of contacting us. Tony (owner) personally conducted measure/estimate & made excellent recommendations. They happily work w/clients purchasing their own tile. We completed demo & drywall repair. However, ADS can/will do demo work if you wish and does full end-to-end remodel. They had great referrals for other trades needed. They're def a great firm for those who know little-nothing about remodels and need everything coordinated/completed. In our case, my husband built custom homes and is an electrician. I was a prop mgr for years (later a project mgr) plus I'd worked for Home Depot. So we're pretty handy. It's nice to find a company that can work with either end of the spectrum! The in-wall prep work (underlayment to hot mop) was of great quality. They custom-framed a shower pan for us to utilize more of the space. Believe me, that extra few inches of width and ~5-6" of depth (vs using prefab fiberglass/acrylic enclosure walls) makes a BIG difference in size of small shower & bathroom! Our larger bathroom got floors, new tub & tiled shower walls. We also opted to have them tile bathroom molding vs wood molding for durability/clean-ability. We were in a time crunch w/baby coming (& associated family guests) AND able to do most work ourselves. Still, that created scheduling challenges as we needed one bathroom operable during process plus discovered in-wall damage then a delay as we received a damaged bathtub (must be installed in advance, as shower walls are tiled to the tub). Then of course baby came during final 2-3 days of project when tub damage was discovered. ADS was flexible and put things on hold for us while we had baby & purchased/installed a NEW, new tub. I've attached a couple pics and will update as they complete the new jobs (kitchen - grout repair, tile toe-kicks and fireplace hearth) and as we complete bathroom finish-work to share true before/after. read more

This update is long over due. Although I initially had an issue with Tony in regard to fixing the floor, he did finally come back and fix it. In addition, he compensated me for it. Had he just looked and listened to begin with, the problem all could have been avoided, because in the end he had to end up taking the bad parts up and redoing it. So, he might as well have done that from the start. All in all, he is a stand up honest guy when it comes down to it. He righted a wrong. I just wish he would have come to his sense a little bit sooner. He has good qualities, but he can be a little hard-headed. Tony was the only contractor that was actually legit when it came to having the required insurance. I had contacted at least 5, and they were not. He also let me speak with his workers before coming to our house. I knew he had the potential for being a first class company, he just needed to tweak a few things. I am guessing that he has learned a lot business wise since then when it comes to listening and customer satisfaction. read more

We hired ADS to install our glass subway tile kitchen backsplash. We had a more challenging project than usual due to a large bay window with odd angles. We also were unsure whether we wanted to use a tile pencil liner around the edges or leave it plain. Tony said he would work with us once we saw the project started so we could visualize all the possibilities. We ended up deciding to use the liner mid-project and Tony and his installer Martin were able to accommodate us despite the last-minute decision. They finished the project in a timely manner and the workmanship was very good. Martin was very meticulous, punctual and polite and cleaned up after himself nicely.
