The uncertified installer was not going to take town permit and said will use 50A breaker compared to 60A tesla suggests to take full advantage of their chargers. So it was no brainer to go with Yes Solar. They are very professional and meticulous in their work. Firs they will come and inspect the location and gives an estimate. Once you approve it they will start with town permit and procuring the 60A breaker which was a special order and took some time to arrive due to supply constraints. The permit took more than a week, but it was worth the wait and gives me confidence that I followed the NEC code. I dont want to take chances with electrical work. On the installation day 2 installers came on time and did a wonderful job, everything according to the code. My car now charges at full 48A Tesla rated 80% of 60A breaker. Getting 43 miles per hour charge. Very happy with the work and suggest Yes Solar for anyone looking for quality Tesla Charger installation

It was bloody cold in January and the guys were on the roof installing the panels. Next was the hardware on the side of the house, I chose to buy one battery so if the electricity went out I could at least have lights, fridge, tv, internet. Maddie was my contact person and she was nice and worked hard to keep me up to date on what was next. The only thing I regret was I was not home when it was turned on, this is such a BIG investment until I really wanted to be here. Covenant overcharges and under delivers. A year ago, we signed with Covenant Solar based on their slick sales pitch. Just 3 months in, we were already not seeing the "savings" we expected. Convenant said that the ROI needed a good year to manifest based on seasonal production and usage fluctuations. This month we are now a year with their system, and we are paying $150 MORE PER MONTH in utility expenses than we were before solar! Every time I talk to Convenant (which is difficult now, sine they already have my money), they "confirm" that our system is producing as designed. That may be true, but the amount they charged for the system, we've since learned, is outrageous! I highly recommend that you stay FAR AWAY from Covenant Solar. I get it that this review could be written by a competitor, so don't take my word for it. Shop around. And choose any company OTHER than Covenant.

I really loved working with Micha, and his expertise was the reason I ended up picking Sun Dollar. The job took only a few days to complete installation. Everyone on the staff was very polite and respectful to our house. They even came back out to paint a conduit black to match my roof. I ended up getting a 9K system, and I'm already producing very close to that in the winter. We'll see how things go in the summer, but so far they've delivered on what they promised. We started the process in late August after confirming the rebate would end December 31st. These guys did everything they said they would do. Most vendors were booked through the end of the year but these guys took care of business. My PM Rana Mehmood and the site team lead Abraham were A1 professionals and very courteous even when I was freaking out over the holiday crunch. It turns out the second piece blew away too and left an open hole on the roof only two days after I looked the first time. I found Sun4light on a Thursday and they told me they will be here the following Monday at 10. I placed a tarp to cover the hole because there was rain in the forecast. They showed up as scheduled and gave me an estimate the next day so I hired them to do the job and they gave me a date to do the job after March 20th in the middle of the pandemic. They were doing another job on the same block and when I asked for a discount the lady in the office told me she would give me a "neighborhood" discount. Again, they showed up as scheduled, and did the job in a couple of hours not including the time they spent to go to the store to buy the matching shingles. He took pictures and sent them to me since I did not go to the roof myself. Because of "social distancing" when I was presented with the bill I saw no discount but I wasn't going to argue back and forth so I wrote the check and decided to ask the lady later. I was told I would get a receipt in the mail The next day it rained dogs and cats so I claimed to the attic to see if I would find any puppies or kittens but it was all high and dry. A few days later I called the lady in the office and reminded her of the discount. Check and receipt arrived Monday this week in the mail and because I am paranoid about the virus I don't open my mail but 4 days after I pick it up. I just opened today and found check, receipt and a nice note from the lady in the office. 21 stars to this company, they did not only do a good job but they put their money where their mouth is

I then spoke with the builder who contracted them for our work, and was told that they would put a note in my file. They have my money, and therefore there is no reason for them to respond to me. I also just make 9 different phone calls to their number in Raleigh at 1:45 in the afternoon on a Wednesday and got absolutely no one to answer the phone. I am also not that hard to find. I am the only Dwina in the area and with a quick search at Duke I pop up readily with contact information. Once again, buyer beware. We didn't choose them to put on our roof, the builder we worked with chose them as the roofing contractor as he was buds with the Greensboro branch of Alpha Omega. The buddy- buddy system will always screw over the customers in the end.

They were contracted to replace existing shingles that were defective. The house was just 1 year…read moreold. The shingle installation was done but they caused extensive damage to the gutters and gutter guard system. The gutters and guards in the entire front of the house were all dented and scratched. The gutter guard diverters were destroyed. Additionally, the shingles were not installed properly where they met the gutter guards. We ended up having to hire another contractor to repair what they damaged.

Part of the contract was that after the first 18 months, Blue Raven was to send us a monthly chech of 43.94 to help with interest on the loan payments. The first year was fine but for the past year I have had to call at the end of each month to ask for my check. I am supposed to recieve them during the first week of the month. Every time I call I get the same answer, "it has just been approved and will be out within the next week". I did not call one month just to see what would happen and I never recieved that check. This is not the same company, (morally), I started with. There is no way I would recommend Blue Raven, Sunpower or whatever they call themselves now to anyone. They are getting a lot of advertising from me but it is not the kind they would like. I put my 2 cents in anywhere I can, with friends and neighbors, blogs even public bulliten boards.
