The young woman at the counter manually verified the check, processed it through a machine, and claimed to have contacted the bank for verification. After a 20-minute wait, she was seated, staring at the check. As a Black man, I am conscious of the biases associated with my skin color, so I strive to be exceptionally understanding. However, after waiting for 20 minutes without any resolution, I requested the check back, to which the lady responded with an attitude, saying, "here." There was no apology or indication of concern for the prolonged wait. Despite my frustration, I proceeded across the street and cashed the check at the bank where I had closed my account. I advise against visiting this place, as their revenue appears to stem from the exorbitantly priced electronic products they allow customers to finance. Save your time and seek alternatives elsewhere.
