I see a few, very few negative reviews on here. Yes, Sammy is is very direct and blunt, but is a good guy. Cars are worth what he offers them to you for. Good cars from the not so nice but very low cost basic transportation cars in his back lot to the nicer ones out front. Was looking for an inexpensive commute car. Always bought from private parties, never took small lots serious but probably found one of the best buys ever at Sammy's. One owner, clean Carfax woman driven (name of owner was in the original manual package), always garaged 2004 Infinity I35...with 23,700 miles. That is 1,370 miles a year. Flawless interior and just a few minor flaws outside. Literally looks like a new car and drives like one. At a time when the used car market is way over price this was like a new car for $8,900. Went to by a 2015 Chevy Volt from Sammy almost a month ago. I was expecting a bigger lot and almost missed it. We went in, looked at the Volt and Sammy let us test drive it on our own. 5 Stars +!!! This is my absolutely genuine unsolicited review. I think this was the most amazing experience I ever had with a car dealership. I knew I was qualified to buy a car with Capital One to buy a New Chevy Spark, but I went in to look at a vehicle I wanted at Sammy's with very low mileage. (A Nissan Cube). My own Nissan Cube had/has 85,000 miles and I thought it would be prudent to trade in and buy this one with only 17,000 miles and in impeccable condition. However, while I was pre-qualified for the loan, I would have been stretching my (terrible) finances way too much. Sammy ran my credit check per my urging and told me, despite my enthusiasm for the low mileage Nissan Cube, that I clearly would be stretching myself beyond my limits. I would buy the car, but basically go bankrupt or lose it. I did this once many years ago, and I well remember it. However, I have simply never had a dealer, that would make money on the sale of the vehicle, plus make money on the high interest loan (the dealer loan fee is a big part of profit in car sales), honestly and adamantly recommend I keep my 85,000 mile Nissan Cube, which is in pretty decent shape, and not buy the deal before me. Sammy's dealership appears to focus on obtaining and selling solid vehicles for fair prices. Note: this is NOT some fancy huge super-impressive facade modern looking car sales outfit. What is it: True old school Americana (and with slight old world accents like my grandparents!) neighborhood Used Car Dealership, with excellent Inventory once you take a look, and yet with the very rare ingredient of total honesty and zero pressure, to say the least. (plus they have this very cool slender orange kitty cat that naps atop the cars or purrs as it enters Sammy's humble but functionally efficient office). I wish I took photos.
