Security then called me and told not to attempt entering or or calling or speaking with anyone at Wells Fargo after two and a half years because of that. One call after that and I was told they needed one more piece of information and we'd be all set. . I volunteered to provide what ever it was they needed and the answer was, "Sorry, I wasn't even supposed to talk to you". I ended up consulting with the U.S. Government Comptroller of the Currency s!ending them all my paperwork. Wells Fargo responded to the them with the question which was, after all that time and numerous visit to branches, to prove my identity. All my visits to branches were on video and each time I provided extra I.D. including my V.A. disabled I.D.. By the way, they also told me I wasn't disabled as shown on the tapes they had of me! I sent the Comptroller duplicates of everything I ever gave to Wells copy of my passport, and finally received my check from closing the account.

I could see if there was only one person and we're down to the last 30 minutes before closing and there were more than 10 people in line. In fact, I have always been met with pleasant staff who seem eager to help, even when it requires extra time or resources. I have had several accounts and auto loans through Schools. I always make sure to get my auto loans through Schools because of their excellent low rates. Over the years, I have had name and address changes, the addition of a spouse to my accounts and more. All of these were handled efficiently and without issue. I am picky about customer service. I do not suffer poor service well. A representative who does not smile, no matter how efficient, annoys me. Errors that aren't quickly corrected are also reason for me to go elsewhere. I am not particularly patient about such matters. Schools has never given me any reason to be anything but satisfied with their service.
