O_o no biggie, got a kit for $12 with multiple parts, easy peasy fix and i properly tighten it this time. I noticed that while unscrewing u don't really need two tools. So i used pliers and a wrench and gave it a good loving. Walked out with a single use goop wipes also. I brought my vehicle into Midas, and it ran well, no engine check light. And then they gave me back…read morethe vehicle hardly running. Stay away!!! They are so scared of a bad review. They replaced the flex pipe and that was all but then kept the vehicle overnight, and then replaced it back with original equipment the next day because they couldn't take a review that I did the night before that was full of opinions and not defamation of character. "Wouldn't you be mad if they ruined your car too?" And kept running the car in neutral to see if it would get better. Also, several mechanics drove the car and they all couldn't figure it out. They didn't do a diagnostic that day as they were supposed to do as required by the contract, and later did it the next day because of fear of a lawsuit, and found oil in one of the cylinders. Historically, I had misfiring a few days earlier when it was raining and thought this was caused by the faulty mesh of the flex pipe and water getting into its exhaust. That had dried up when the rain went away, and no check engine light was illuminated now a few days later. The car ran perfect when driving to the shop of Midas for 10 miles. Also, the mechanic is required to do a test drive or at least from the parking lot to the lift. And he or she would be able to see that it was in great working order. I should not have had any problems. I spent $2,100 dollars to fix their problems. New: engine coils (Midas did diagnose this, but did they cause this?...it's hard to say but a subpoena of R* will suffice), coolant tank, stripped oxygen sensor, head gasket, and water pump. After a few negative posts the "son" Robert texts me saying he gave the other guys money back and against his better judgement was going to agree to the original deal. Robert (the manager, and son) proceeds to tell me "he's only doing this cause his dad is making him." I at that point honestly felt racially profiled and discriminated upon.
