We looked at the old one and how it connected to the small circuit board (used to control charge rate) and he told me that he could tack weld two short strips onto each pole of the new battery so that I could easily solder to them again. I'm an electronics guy so I do have the proper ultra-high temp soldering pen (750 degrees and variable) to do this job correctly.
