I knew the car had some issues but after it was gone through with a fine tooth comb, my ride felt better than a brand new car. The entire suspension and braking system was totally replaced along with the steering gear box, which was unbelievably repaired! Other mechanics wanted to install a new one, since it was easier than repairing the original. The nice thing about this shop is all of the technicians go above and beyond to help save the customer money and if it can be repaired they will go the extra mile and do it better than any replacement part out there. Aside from the suspension and brakes the carburetor was replaced along with the manifold. The last big ticket item to be replaced was the radiator. When I had my car towed to Auto Air & Audio it could not even start. After the engine revved a few times it would finally start but the entire car shook like a washing machine on overload! Once everything was set in place and the engine tuned, it now drives better than my Mercedes S-550. Thanks to Todd and his crew they were able to do what others could not! THANK YOU ONE AND ALL! You are truly outstanding automotive technicians! I highly recommend them to anyone with a classic car out there, your classic car and your wallet will both thank you!

He took photographs and researched the existing emblems and letters to insure everything was good and available to purchase if any were damaged during the repair. When I arrive, there is a lady standing outside who i later found out is Shannon Hall Lamb, she walks up and asked me if she could help me, I said no thank you the gentleman from Saturday was already helping me. He came out with a paint tech and started showing him what needed to be done, the young man with him said no problem it could all be done easily. This is when Shannon stepped in and said she wasnt comfortable with doing the job. I asked what she meant. She then stated that she didnt trust her employees to do the job right and not break something that she couldnt replace and started using "corporate" as an excuse. So, a couple things here. 1. Her estimator and painter already said it was not a big deal. 2. I drove 30 miles on saturday and 30 miles today only to be told she didnt trust her employees enough. So, either she is a bold faced liar in reference to her employees abilities or she is an incredibly terrible boss who would denigrate her employees to a potential customer, either way, not a good look for someone in a leadership position. looking back, I guess i should be glad I didnt have my car repaired there since this person Shannon is such a terrible boss that she cant trust her own employees to do their job correctly. Maybe it isnt the subordinates that are the problem here, maybe it is the ineffective leader.

The young man that took my information was told that I needed brakes, shocks, and flushing of all fluids which would cost well over a thousand dollars. I refused and said just fix the mount please. It was about 20 min later, the manager came over and said that I needed brakes and the shocks were all 90% gone front and back. I refused again and said just fix the mount. The 3rd time, the manager took me to the service department. The mechanic had all the wheels off, and the manager then said, "Legally maam I have to show you the brakes and that you badly need brakes. I cannot be legally liable if you get in an accident." He scared me so bad, that I said just do the front ones. He said he would take $100 off if I had all of them done. I said ok if it's really that bad. He then gave me a bill of $900.00 with an itemized list of all the things wrong with this car. I then took my car to another establishment to see if in fact I do need shocks. The new establishment (Mr. Carburetor) on Pipken, said absolutely not. Your shocks are fine. Does Mavis in Lakeland do this to everyone that is a senior. Scare them to death to do mechanical work? I would like a refund.

I went to an auto parts store and hooked up the scan. Once done, I took the vehicle to tire kingdom and dropped it off. A few hours later, they called and said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. They checked the car over and couldn't find anything related to the code it was showing. They cleared the code and it never came back. The charge? Zero! We just went and picked up the vehicle.
