So my wife gets out of work yesterday gets in the truck. It won't start. She calls me I drive to her work jump. The truck and the buddy I was with said take it to advance auto they'll give you a battery and install it for you. That's exactly what I did, and I couldn't be more happy with the gentleman at the counter and the young kid that change the battery for me very pleasant knowledgeable. Terrible customer service. Came in looking for spare tire attachment bolts. Not only couldn't find any in the computer, associate was unaware that nuts and bolts of similar size were available on the floor. I went next door to home depot and bought them there. Only available associate to cash me out couldn't take cash. Associates seemed disinterested and not well informed. read more

Your average auto parts store located in the home depot plaza right off I95. They are bit pricey, however they are open early and close late and have anything that you would need. Store policy on returns isn't great, only 7 days with receipt. I bought a wrong item and they didn't give me a hard time and just took it back. I know most people have issues with auto parts stores, This one seems like a better one. Also, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. read more

Stopped in today for a battery (purchased online) when I arrived to the store I spoke to Charles. I asked him if he would be able to install the battery and he told me his manager doesn't allow them to install battery's bought online. (Very weird seeing as online informs you that they can install it) it seemed he just didn't want to do his job. After saying it would take "35 minutes to change it" I finally got him to come outside and change my battery in I'd say a little under 5 minutes. I decided to call another store on my way home and check if maybe they can't install battery's online and was told they could no problem. I love advanced auto and go all the time this was one of the few times I had a bad experience. read more
