Terrible. Worst customer service. Called for an appointment and received one a week later. We dropped the car off at 9am, at our appointment time, to look at brakes and A/C. Zero updates all day, I finally I called at 4:30pm and they say they haven't even looked at it and they close at 5pm if we need the car back. It would have been nice to let us know that morning they are slammed and maybe come back another day or call at 3pm to let us know they will need it overnight. I will never use this place. Took my 2015 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid there to get a new 12-volt battery since it was 5 years old, plus a Service Advance Track system error code. They tracked that to a speed sensor on the right rear wheel. They had replaced the speed sensor once and it was still throwing the same error code. They ordered a replacement speed sensor for the new one that was already put on the car. I had an issue where I really needed the car, they let me take the car without paying and we made another appointment first thing on June 5th so they could put on the next new speed sensor. On June 5th, they put on the next speed sensor and it was still throwing error codes, so it wasn't the speed sensor, they began checking things up to the front of the car. They got to the Hybrid system and I knew they wouldn't work on that. After an hour Carlos told me that he thought it would end up leading them to the ABS module. On Ford products, Ford is the only one that can install modules because they have to be programmed into the car. So, off to Schumacher Lincoln, I went. I made an appointment with Lincoln and told them about the ABS module. They told me they would diagnose the issue and that would be $199.95 + tax. So far Lincoln has had my car for 23 days at this writing. They have replaced the same rear speed sensor, that Carlos replaced, twice. I believe they are charging me $850 for that so far. They told me on August 2nd that they need to remove some parts to look at some wiring and that will take 2 hours at $270 an hour. Today is August 10th and they have not started doing that work. They can not give me a date on when they will fix my car. I will be getting rid of this car and never buy a Ford product again. I'll get a Toyota. Carlos charged me $515 for the speed sensor and the new 12-volt battery, and 1 hour for the diagnostics. His rate is $187. Lincoln has my charge up to $1,390 and I have been without a car for 23 days with no expectation of getting it back anytime soon. I used another Local Mechanic before Carlos and was charged $270 for a battery and a fee to use a credit card. Carlos, Delray Auto Repair is a great, honest shop. I highly recommend them. read more

HORRIBLE!-DO NOT USE-! I took my SUV in for mostly preventative maintenance as I drive extensively for work. This is included oil change, 4 tires, balance wheel alignment and and rear brakes. I was told the front brakes were "great" and did not n need any work. Totaling over $1500.00. Almost immediately I noticed that at highway driving the SUV would start to shimmy and shake, also when coming to a stop the SUV would pulsate in the front (new issue after work). I took the SUV back (losing a day of work) and told that the tires were "severely" unbalanced on the right front and now I had a front warped brake rotor. Carlos, the manager, told me I would have to pay for the new rotor, around $450-$500 and that they rebalanced the tires. I tried to inquire more as to how this could be that NOW I have a damage rotor and he would just talk in circles or talk over me without any resolution. I was told the car was "safe" to drive with a warped rotor. I needed my vehicle for work so I picked it up. When they gave me the report back it was only the ORIGINAL work order, not the work order I saw him write re: tires and new pulsating upon braking. I was basically shut down as for as any more conversation even though I was polite. I asked for someone above Carlos, and was told "he's it" by the front desk lady. Furthermore, the SUV is still shimming and shaking at highway speeds, and front pulsating worse. NEVER will use them again. read more

We discovered Delray Auto Repair three years ago. Since then we have become regular, highly satisfied customers of Delray Auto Repair. They are always busy, which is testimony to how many highly satisfied customers you have. But as busy as they are, Carlos is never too busy to squeeze us in for an emergency.... like the time we one of our tires picked up a nail just as we were headed down to Miami to board a cruise ship. Luckily, we were able to limp back to his shop. In spite of the fact that the garage and parking lot was full of cars waiting for your attention, Carlos dropped what he was doing, put a plug in the tire, and in ten minutes we were back on our way! Was driving by the area looking for a place to change the oil and filter in my vehicle and found them on Yelp. They had space available and took my vehicle right away. Was greeted promptly and efficiently and though there's not much to do or eat around, they were very quick. In about 40mins I received a call that my vehicle was ready. Great price and they did provide recommendations for upcoming maintenance. They seem to be a very busy location, but don't let that deter you from great service and reasonable prices! My 2015 Audi was using a quart of oil every 400 miles, and I was a week away from having to limp it back to DC, 1100 miles away. I had no idea what the problem was, and I feared for the worst. On a whim, I drove it into Delray Auto Repair, and was greeted by Carlos, the manager. Too busy to look at the car for another 10 days, he said. I explained the situation, did a little begging, and he agreed to look at it early in the morning, the day before I had to leave. Long story short, he found a faulty oil drain plug, fixed it, did an oil change, and explained the cause of the problem so that it would not happen again, all for less than $100. Delray Auto Repair & Quick Lube saved me so much money, time and worry! My airbag warning light came on in my dash, so I took my car (2007 VW EOS convertible with sunroof) to the dealership where I bought my car (because their hours worked better with my schedule at that time), to find out why the light came on & how to fix it. They told me it was the wire harness for passenger side igniter, and because my car is so old (2007) that problem is very understandable. They told me it would cost $437.65 to repair. I told them I would get back with them. The next day, I took my car to Delray Auto & Quick Lube. They ran a test (in my presence) and received a similar "wire fault" diagnosis, so the mechanic (David) went to the passenger side of the vehicle to look under the seat. He told me I can't put anything under the seats in this car because that's where all the wiring is. He moved the passenger front seat back, and out rolls a 2 liter bottle of Coke I've been looking for that disappeared a few days ago. David looked at the wires under the seat, then he came back to the driver's seat and ran the same test again---NO AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT!!!! The entire reason why the airbag warning light came on is 100% due to the bottle of Coke that rolled under the seat and touched some wires! So, David reset my warning light, reminded me not to put anything under the seats, and now my dash (& my stress level) is back to normal. David gave me back my keys and said "You're all set!" I asked him if it was ok to give him a hug, and after he replied "Yes." I gave him a thank you hug. I was and am so relieved. He calls back the next day saying " I have your quote ready" I said you already gave me a quote. He said no that was just for the parts (which he said was $280) so with no way to move my car anywhere, I had to have them fix it for an extra $128. When I receive the bill, the Parts only totaled to $240. ??? complete B.S.!!! How long have worked there and you don't know how to properly give a quote?? They then later refuse to work on any of my vehicles claiming that I stiffed them.
