Wasn't sure if AAP would have them, but Abigail walked me from shelf to shelf, looked up the cross-reference to parts that would work and even found another retailer as a source for a part they didn't carry. This is fantastic service! Abby was very knowledgeable about the products, and spent the time needed so I left with the best solution AAP could provide. Went and purchased a cell phone holder for vehicle. The product is flimsy and honestly seems not welled made. I try to return product because I feel it is defective. I was informed by GM that since the top of the lid is a little ripped they can not take product back. The GM was polite and not argumentative. My issue it not with the staff. I looked on receipt and it says 1 YR replacement if defective. Not 1YR replacement if defective and box isn't ripped. What happens if I would of bought rotors and they were warped? No replacement because I ripped the plastic off them when I took them out of box? Advance has always been my go to for anything car related. I will literally drive by other parts stores to give my buisness to them. I have used them for my personal vehicles and commerical parts. But today has proved they have certainly turned an eye away from customer service. read more

Very weird. Just left this store after finding no employee to check us out. Literally, like no one was there. We waited several minutes, we yoohoo'd, we walked around and yoohoo'd again, to no avail. We left our items at the counter (actually next to another little pile of items, I wonder if another customer had encountered the same thing? ) In any event, as we backed out, of our parking space, our headlights shone into the back of the store, lighting up 3 persons, 2 seated at a desk or counter, the third standing facing them. I get my basic auto parts here - oil, filters, fluids, etc. They always do a pretty good job looking up the right part for me, although once they ended up selling me a part that didn't fit. I took it back and returned it without a problem, though. Other than that, I've always had a good experience shopping at this Advance Auto. It's a convenient location for me, and the staff gets the job done. More recently, due to COVID, they don't come out to check the check engine light anymore. But they did let me borrow the check engine light code reader and explained how I could check it myself. Also, I've discovered that ordering online for pickup has been a nice and convenient way to buy what I need during COVID. The pricing is fair, and they have a reward program that gives me some coupons sometimes. read more

Alright I've gone in here twice and both times the (different) men have made sexist comments or been blatantly rude to me. The first time i came in and asked for (windshield) washer fluid and the guy asked me if it was for washing my clothes This time around I called the store for curbside pickup (it's what the email told me to do and I have a baby in the car). The guy comes out and puts it on the floor in front of the door of the building and laughed at me. Obviously I got out and picked it up but it was just rude. I suggest going to the autozone off high house instead as I've never had a problem there. read more

I wouldn't go here if you need a new battery. They told us they couldn't take out our old battery due to insurance liability issues. Go try another auto parts store instead. Don't waste your time trying Advanced since they can't help you with a new battery. They said they can only change it if it is their brand battery that is currently in your car. I would give more stars, but my recent trip was not good. I needed a battery check on one of my vehicles and was told the battery was fine and it just needed corrosion cleaned off. So I had that done and wind shield wipers replaced. The next day my vehicle would not start.. Road side service gave me a jump and we discovered that the instrument used to clean my battery was sitting on the battery. I returned the car and had battery checked again..yea it was dead.. I showed them how the clerk from the day before left the cleaning brush under the hood. It could of caused major problems if not discovered. They gave me a discount on the battery, but not enough in my opinion. I think I will go elsewhere next time.. read more

The customer service here is bad. Particularly for women. In these times pretty much every business offers curbside pick up, even auto parts stores. I'm not sure they're clear on what curbside means or they just have bad attitudes. My daughter needed a filter for her car. She paid for it and went to pick it up. She saw on their site that they offer curbside pick up and to just call when she was at the store. She chose curbside because she had her baby in the car. When she called the employee that answered pretended line he didn't know what she was talking about and then proceeded to bring the product that she had paid for and set it on the ground in front of the store. With a smile. She was forced to get out and pick up what she had paid for off of the ground. I'm fairly sure that the people who pay inside don't have to pick their purchase up from the floor. This was rude, uncalled for and made my daughter feel degraded. The customer service here could use some work and maybe some training on this new thing they call curbside. read more

I had to jump my car twice yesterday - once to get to work and once to leave work! Not a fun Wednesday surprise. I drove straight here after work and was greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff who quickly tested my battery and determined it was completely dead. The person helping me showed me different options for a new battery and wasn't pushy at all for the more expensive options. Once I chose one, he installed it quickly, correctly and held a friendly conversation the whole time he was working. I know battery installs are totally run of the mill for these guys, but they had me in an out within 15 minutes and were polite and conversational - what more could you ask for! read more

Terrible I'll never shop at another Advance Auto and will tell my friends and family as well.. Two Batteries within 5 years maybe defective.. So they will not replace the second battery it just died.. The General manager was not pleasant at all.. Called customer service and what do you know she was just as nasty..
