I looked on receipt and it says 1 YR replacement if defective. Not 1YR replacement if defective and box isn't ripped. What happens if I would of bought rotors and they were warped? No replacement because I ripped the plastic off them when I took them out of box? Advance has always been my go to for anything car related. I will literally drive by other parts stores to give my buisness to them. I have used them for my personal vehicles and commerical parts. But today has proved they have certainly turned an eye away from customer service.

After a kind couple's attempt to jump the car didn't work, we were feeling pretty stuck--until we realized we were literally across the street from an O'Reilly Auto Parts. I called the store, and that's when Ed became our hero of the night. Without hesitation, he walked across the street with a jumper and got our car running again. And he didn't stop there! We headed over to the shop, bought a new battery, and Ed even installed it for us right then and there. Ed was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind--exactly the kind of person you hope to run into when your car dies and you're stuck with your plans derailed. I can't thank him enough. Today Chris was in the store. I recognized him from previous visits. He always provides a warm welcome as soon as my feet cross the threshold of the entrance. Chris is an exceptional Auto Parts expert and works very quickly at getting what I need. Chris also takes the time to provide educational details on the different options. I needed a headlight bulb because if it's not a fog light it's my headlight bulbs blowing after a few years. The joys of vehicle ownership! Chris was kind enough to put the bulb in for me. I appreciate the service and the staff here not just this visit but every visit before this. Apparently not. I returned the battery I bought, jumped my wife's car, and drove straight to AutoZone where I bought from them. Unlike at O'Reilly's, they were happy to assist a paying customer and installed it in less than 10 minutes! I even slipped the guy an extra $20 for just helping us out. I will never go to O'Reilly's ever again and will always go to their competitor.
