Sold me some AC recharge that had sealant in it, as just recharge. Then when no shop will work on my ac system proceeds to tell me I shouldn't have told them what I put in it, knowing it will mess up their machines. Unhonest company that obviously doesn't know much about the automotive industry. idk why someone would sell stuff that damages so much equipment. read more

I have always been in an advocate for advance auto parts. But this store in specific, with Sean as the manager I have to say is absolutely terrible. Over four months I have tried to prove to them that the new alternator I purchased from them was bad. I had to deal with getting stranded by my vehicle for four months, and finally was able to prove to them that it was the alternator I purchased from them, Shawn the manager did not want to help me with a warranty replacement. Wasted my time and gave me the runaround. When I went to another advance auto parts store, to try to get my warranty replacement. They asked me why did the other store that I was at did not want to give me the replacement since they are in the same system. There was no reason for Shawn to not help me with this matter. The people that work in this auto parts store are always friendly and helpful. A few days ago they ordered an oil filter for my antique car. No one else in area had this filter. The part came in the next day. I also ordered a set of brake shoes for the car. The employee named Joshua was very professional, he made sure the right parts were ordered and took extra time getting the paperwork correct. The store is very exceptional kept up and always well staffed. They make sure you are finding what you need. The store is laid out good and you can easily find what you need. read more

The people here are very nice, I just do not like the way the deals go. I can order items online for 20-25% off, but if I go to store I pay top dollar. It makes no sense as I can go down the block at discounted prices. This might be the last time I buy here, it is NOT the location it is the CORPORATION no minds, that figure the discounts. read more

I purchased an external electric fuel pump. When I went to install it the brass crush washers were too small to fit over the supplied banjo bolts. I went back and showed the clerk the problem. She said electronics can't be returned once opened and proceeded to wave a sales flyer in my face and say "it says right on this flyer that we don't take returns on electronics". I explained that I didn't want to return it, that I just needed some crush washers that fit. She said they only had brake line crush washers and you can't use those for gas lines. I gave up and went to O'Reilly's where they sold me a pack of washers and even opened them to make sure they would fit. I stopped at the Racetrack location to explain the horrible service I just had at the location by Walmart, the manager apologized and said "that woman that you dealt with is abusive, she abuses my employees when they do parts runs there and we all avoid her". And said there was nothing he could do. I have not returned to any AAP store since, and I restore classic cars for a hobby so I spend tons of time in parts stores, I now drive past the AAP to reach the other stores a mile down the road. read more

Went in to get my check engine light scanned. The guy working the counter who was texting on his phone walked away from the counter and said it is raining outside. I said if you don't want to do it I will go somewhere else. He said ok. I went to Auto zone and spent money instead. read more
