This branch is pretty good. I went in for a new buttery for my car, the person helping me was knowledgeable on exactly what I needed and the transaction was fast. Then he went out and installed the battery and it was a quick process. There was no wait and the person was very transparent on the transaction. Prior to battery installation, he went out to test the car to make sure the battery was the issue and the diagnostic came back that it was. Tell you what... I went into this place for bulbs and came out a fan of the entire store. The people working (I want to say her name is Victoria and there was another gentleman) there were helpful, very happy to be there and went beyond their roles to make sure all of my questions were answered. Usually when I go to stores like these, the people are a bit aloof and since I am not a mechanic I appreciate a touch of kindness before I get frustrated with my car. Since it was just one bulb, I thought to be the hero and started to change them in the lot. 10 min later, Victoria comes out, asks if I need help and holding the door open to be of any further service was the gentleman. My hard headed self said that I am fine and thanked her for asking. She complimented my steadiness and willingness to work on the car myself and that felt good. I promise you, going to Advance Auto Parts first thing on a 95 degree Sunday morning to change a bulb next to a hot engine... Highlight of my day. I got my car fixed, learned about cars and felt accomplished for replacing the bulb that was set on the other side of the battery (not an easy pop and go). Steve tested my battery (it needed to be replaced), alternator and starter (both these were good). He quickly replaced it and I was out in less than 15 minutes. Solid store otherwise, well stocked, nice guys working there, and surprisingly satisfactory given the local area around is sub-par. If you are in the do-it-yourself mode, go here. Slow service and unwilling to help themselves, let alone costumers. Rather than yelling that her phone was ringing multiple time and causing scenes, the woman behind the counter should have silenced her phone, put the then ringing store phone on hold rather than let he ring non-stop, and done her job with a smile. I've never been to a place with less couth. read more
